@HokieRacer3861 I will send a friends request later, and good time bye the way. I am going see if I can get close to your time but I am over 50 years old and starting to slow down a bit.

Thanks, and that's awesome! My dad wouldn't even attempt to play ANY games when he was the same age.

Keep it up, you're still really quick! 👍

The second to last corner is the death of me.

OMG... that track is so frustrating.
But after A LOT of tries, I did 1:10,309 with the DS3 and without driving aids (ABS: 1)
1st in Greece and 17th overall ;)
Congratulations with the great time! You have my full respect.
But just to correct you, isn`t ABS counted as a driver aid?

Took a while to get used to the high speed braking instability, but now I can say it is one of the best LMP cars in GT6. The design looks awesome and it sounds like a beast!!!

Totally agree m8. In fact, only thing needed for rear instablility during braking is to apply brake more gently during the stage when wheel is still a bit locked to the left. Got off track sliding in first 2 laps forced me to learn that the hard way. Going downhill in crazy speed, low aero setting and weight and with the wheel slightly off center makes deceleration bit of a problem there.

1:11.7 with a ds3. I cant get it to turn in enough. Just a simple tune with it and in practice its 2 seconds faster.

I buy new ps4 and sold my os3, so, no more gt for me guys. It was a big pleasure racing against y'all.

I can only say that I'll wait the day when gt comes to ps4 platform then we can continue our battle....

...till then, keep racing and stay healthy

;)

I present to you an average conversation with the LM55, ahem.

Me: Okay, turn 1... turn in please.

LM55: No.

ME: Please? we've already missed the apex

LM55: No.

Me: Gravel... Gravel... Gravel quickly approaching!!

LM55: Fine, I'll turn in.

Me: Phew!, okay turn 2.

LM55: Yup. I can most certainly do that for you, see how easy this is?

Me: WHAT WAS TURN 1 ALL ABOUT THEN!?

It uses RH tires in that race, that's why it's harder to control. Once you earn it you can increase downforce.
Are you sure it will retain the increased downforce settings for the event? Because if you switch the tires to RS, under the event regulations they go back to RH.

It's not the same car... it's given to you for the event, you win another one which you can tune, they're separate cars.
And no offense, but you sounded like a noob. :indiff:

Amazing car!

I'm working through career mode on a second account, and it easily wins every IA and S event from 600-750pp--with no tuning other than power limiter and ballast increase to lower the PP.

Quick session on this before and after dinner. Pulled a 1.10'929 2-3 laps in during the session after. Plenty of time to find.

I´m really happy i got a 1.09,818 (9th) on this combo after several hundred miles, but i still don´t understand the driving behavior of this car :odd:

It's supposedly a rotary so all the power is at the top of the rev band. Imagine how bad the lag would be with a stage 3 turbo .

I wish I had more time to play over Xmas :( Damn gf back from uni wanting to do stuff! :banghead:

I can't seem to get close on this one. 1:10.615 after 2 short sessions doesn't even get me near top 100 :scared:

Do like this seasonal. Wasnt sure about the car at first, but now, not love it but really like it and enjoy it. Laguna, classic track. Love it. Will do it again today.Got gold 3rd lap. Cannt remember time, low 13s i got, can get into 12s.

:D

:gtplanet:

The car is so fast PD should have set a lower time for Gold. I got Gold on my very first lap and ran one more for a slight improvement to 1:13.943. Nothing special, I know...But I drove terribly. I plowed into the first turn (hairpin) both laps. There were turns that I am aiming for the apex but started turning in too early, so I have to whip my wheel back the other direction and then whip it back into the turn quickly. I was all over the place and still managed an easy gold. That shouldn't be possible with how poorly I drove.
