Tried again yesteday but the paddle shifter on my Wheel are worst, downshifting, not ****ing or shifting 2 gears on upshift... even seen a downshift hitting the handbrake while running another car


And i couldnt find that bug on the start line, almost everyone on my friendlist pull away and get like 1 car lenght on me before getting to the first AI car


Time to get a new wheel i guess.... just for a paddle shifter

Have you checked all the connections, Mike?

I seem to remember mine doing something similar ages ago and the connector for the gear unit was slightly loose.

I wish I just had more time to put on these TTs... The time of this one was made in a quick run, the 25th. But these Christmas days are crazy.

Before you buy a new wheel it might be worth checking that it's not the H shifter interfering. I had a similar problem with my G25 a while ago and it turned out that if the H shifter was even slightly off-centre it would randomly send gear changes and override the paddles. I mapped the H shifter to the handbrake and have not had the problem since.

I will check for that, i used comporessed air in the Wheel and it feel slightly better but will still do it, i will check the connections never thought of that. 👍

1:03.677 fun challenge even though my G27 paddle shifters are acting up randomly downshifting or upshifting when trying to do the opposite...

After the lap the game froze trying to udate the leaderboard i thought it would not add to the list, it worked but i lost the ghost replay

anyone else having the shifting issue with the G27? or its just my Wheel that is giving up...

Had this problem with the LM55 event. Would just change up as I was pulling down and wouldn't come out of 8th. Auto worked, but not as fast for me.

I know from your ghost line you can go 0.1-0.2 faster in the 1st half (though your 2nd half is ).

I've only seen 3rd gear starts myself so far, but even without starting in 4th, you can hang on to the faster starters by taking a very straight line down the hill (clipping all the kerbs).

The best t1 i seen was 27.110 but mostly running high 27.2s or low .3s
i seen you had a nice run at t1 👍

I'm mostly running 27.2's, with the occasional 27.1 (.127 is the best I've seen)... but that's starting in 3rd with a flickering throttle... so I think I could run a 27.0 or even a 26.9... problem is the faster you go, the more you have to wait for the R8 to get out of the way (or just clip its' rear on the exit ).

@zocker_16 is VERY fast in T1!

I need to work on the 2nd and 3rd corners in T2... losing a pile of time there.

Took my pedals apart this afternoon and gave them a good clean, so hoping to get back on this one sometime over the rest of the week.

You guys noticed any difference between two weather setups? I've really started to think that AI cars are on a bit different phase on each setup but really hard to tell, could be just me being on a different phase

Interestingly I ran yesterday couple of 27.3 at first sector but still caught @Stotty ghost after that left uphill turn, this was possible I think because I was coming from very wide line (almost on the grass on right side) and that BMW seems to give perfect nudge for that uphill, if you just manage to do it right(and timing is right)Now I of course did some mistake at the end both times so I can't really say how good of a lap with so poor first sector is possible, but there seems to be some kind of way abusing that BMW, if you aren't too fast at first sector. With good first sector (under 27.2) that BMW before uphill is too early for abuse and it's just taking the best line in the middle of the road, leading quite easily to time loss on that uphill...

Someone already said this, but these overtakes really makes you think bit differently hope I'm not "over thinking" it

If you're using manual just hit gear up same time with "START" if you're on auto gears then I have no idea...

@Stotty i checked connections on my G27, they were fine but just replugging them seem to have helped, i could have another session and it was fine, then i improved my time and was focusing to improve again and it started to do the same thing


This time i had the head start bug! but it was still in 3rd gear and the sky was clear minus very little coulds far away @ODB


I stopped there before throwing the thing as far as i can!

1:03.499 back to 7th place and i wont try again i lost a tenth in the 2 last corners.

Tried racing this yesterday before work and it was all arse over tit this combo is super bugged... I start the event and the countdown goes 3.... 2.... 1 ... go! but not all plain sailing for me... mine goes 3... 2.... and all my friends list take a full cars lead on me and ... 1 and we are off and i'm miles behind the pack with my foot to the floor and the whole world has a good 20 foot head start on me???? wtf? this combo is so bugged it is infuriating fix it PD as this combo is not letting people be consistent enough to be competitive and making the challenge creators look sloppy in the process 👎

Let me know when it's fixed and I will try and have a genuine attempt at this bugged joke 👎

@Mr P Ron same thing for me on my last best time, all my friends were pulling away on the start, but i dont think it will change much thing after trying with the ''bug mode activated'', i was able to do as good t1 with slower start, the R8 get in the way anyway. Like escama said, the way you exit t1 is the most important.

But i more than agree it is a huge flaw for a time trial event, not even talking about the AI...
They should just add cones instead, cones have better driving instinct.

Nice time Mike 👍 I posted whilst under the influence last night and came across quite mad haha I will have another crack at it tonight no doubt and try my hand at threading the needle again... It's a great combo just so many flaws

This certainly is a weird one.

When I started a session earlier I was losing 2-3 car lengths immediately the event started - friends ghost lines were in front of me before the 3-2-1 had even finished! Exited and restarted and was only losing a car length or so... most of which can be made up by taking a perfect line down the hill.

Anyhow, managed to get an hour in before my throttle started playing up again and improved by a massive 0.04... but that was good enough to jump 7 places to 19th

I really wanted to get a T300 as my next wheel with G27 pedals, but looks like I'm going to have to buy another G27... fortunately, PC World have them on offer at £160, so I'll go pick one up tomorrow.

I hope they never do such a "bug" again. Restarting an event 10 times to see if the conditions are better each time really takes all the fun away.

Well, I finally had some time to try this event. I went flying off the road on T1 my first attempt. Then I crashed into the back of the 2nd car twice. Finally, on my 4th try I made it to the finish line with a Gold time of 1:06.593... Nothing to brag about, but at least I won the car. Now to go try the Pagani event, which I've heard is much, much harder.

That sucks man. That is such a crappy feeling to go out and buy something, just to bring it home, all excited, and plug it in only to find it's FUBAR. I've had that happen to me many times with many different things. Ugh...Ya just wanna punch someone in the face. I hope they have another G27 at the store. 👍
