Within another hour, the 5th place car in LMP1 will be back on the track, seeking a place on the class podium. Maybe they will break and an LMP2 take the win? But should Toyota win, would they withdraw? Where would that leave 2018, how would it affect the new 2020 rules?

It may be good to have LMP1 exit altogether, leaving the top class with 30 LMP2 cars competitive for the win. But the organizers and sponsors wouldn't like it because of the lack of famous factory names.

What if they did something like IMSA with the manufacturers customizing the bodywork to look more like the road cars?

Would Porsche leave if Toyota wins? God no, that would be poor sportsmanship and a bad look for the manufacturer. Never would I see that happening.

The rules are weird right now with P2s being quicker than P1s on the straight. The regs are a separate convo but I think they are all screwed up, and I bet we see some change in those 2020 regs before they come out. I'm all for intigrated plug in/electric technology but I don't want it as a gimmick and the way the 2020 regs make it sound is gimmicky. Especially if ya got 2 cars battling for the win, if they are right with eachother are ya really gonna make em switch to cross the line on electric power?

Trust me, the Vette is extremely loud in person. The ground shakes whenever it goes thundering by.

Side note: the Ford sounds gross.

They're especially loud right before the braking zone into Canada Corner at Road America as you're extremely close to the track and the trees trap the sound.

That would be awesome as long as you removed the BoP.

The response to my asking for a refund.

Sorry but as you subscribed to a full season package we cannot provide refund.

Both website and app are working.

Thank you for your understanding.

Best regards,

The WEC page takes several minutes to login when it does the only thing that works is the damn clock.

Never again FIA/ACO...🤬
There is a difference in the cost of the season pass with Le Mans and without. They should be able to refund the difference.

Originally IMSA and the FIA/ACO were suppose to work together on a global P2 spec, but then ACO totally shafted them and came up with a set of rules that would never in a million years work for IMSA. IMSA did an incredible job salvaging it and making it work for them, and they were suppose to be aloud to run Le Mans but the ACO kept inventing reasons not too. It's a shame, but as said, no way will they says that IMSA was right especially after they tried to shaft them, lol

Jordan Taylor and Tony Kanaan are having a great little scrap right now.

Yea been watching onboard Kanaan in the #68 of the Ford feed, quite a neat little battle going on.

Edit: just as I say that, Kanaan hit a curb coming into the Ford chicane so hard, it's knocked the in-car camera off it's mounts

THAT LMP2 DRIVER IN THE #28 IS AN IDIOT WHAT THE HELL WAS HE THINKING?! He punted him into the wall blatantly! PUT THAT PIECE OF **** INTO THE PENALTY BOX FOR AN HOUR!

Marshall Pruett just saying on the Fox broadcast about future manufacturers in the P1 rank. Everything I know suggest Peugeot, Alpine, and BMW were the 3 who were really interested, and down the road VW might swap Porsche for Audi when the hydrogen engine is ready. But Marshall is saying Lamborghini is very serious about a prototype in either P1 or DPi. No way VW okays Lamborghini in P1.

That amateur just clubbed that Risi Ferrari. Poor driving at its worst.

The only thing I can think of is he thought he was clear of him.
No excuse for him, he pulled a pass then jammed the wheel to the left and spun the Ferrari. He needs to be parked and not let to drive for the rest of the race. What a tool.

Oh guess what, he got the ride because he's the French F4 champion...what a piece of ****.

The P2 class being the quickest in the straight line is a problem. No way should a car with amateurs should carry the highest speed, it should always be P1 cars. This P2 regs are I'll conceived across the board, that was dangerous. I believe it's Francois Perrodo in the 28.
