That's kind of how Audi looked with their exit.

Audi's departures wasn't at all Audi's choice. It isn't a coincidence that both Audi and Porsche dropped from 3 cars to 2 when the VW emission scandal was announced, and it isn't coincidence that the Audi LMP1 program and the VW WRC program were cut within days of the sanctions. VW had to make massive cuts due to those sanctions and they were the ones who gave the kill order to the P1 program. It wasn't Audi's choice, their car for this year was already designed. A scale model of it was even at one of the FIA end of year award banquets.

That was a really naughty move by the #28, seemed far to eager to get past, should've been more patient, and waited for the overtake after the 1st chicane. What's more awkward, is the the #28's garage is next door to Risi #82's garage...

Man that's 2 straight year Risi has got the shaft, after the leader light controversy last year and now this.

Labre Corvette went for a loop coming out of karting.

The pass would have worked on him, but he should have just kept the car straight going into the chicane, instead of trying to go left, to take a little wider entry into it.

Entire LMP2 class is full of chumps.

That's a bit unfair, there are plenty, if not most of the drivers, are very capable racers, what with the likes of Barrichelo, Vergne being examples of such drivers. Granted, there are a select few who leave things to be desired, with some questionable driving, but it's certainly not all of LMP2.

Vaxiviere is a good driver and has raced GT cars around Le Mans before, really strange error of judgement for somebody like him.

E- He didn't race last year, he was with a Porsche team in GTE-Am but I think he was forced to withdraw through injury.

I really like what they're doing with slow zones this year, in the past they would put a safety car out for a couple of hours, but now they're doing it like the Nurburgring and only neutralising the offending areas.

Fair enough, to someone on the outside or out of the know it would give that appearance.

I should see if I can find a picture of that 2017 Audi model here while there's a lull in the actions, it was a wild design.

Fun fact: The CLM this year used the same engine as the 2015 Nissan without any of the hybrid parts, kind of like the 2015 Nissan.
