#95 has a little damage @catamount39
Right, but if that scream was deeper down toward the lower midrange, that's where I'd put the Vette DP. The Cady was definitely the lowest register, but it was a bit of a smooth kind of deep, where the Vette DP was a real thrasher.Well the Gibson runs at a higher rev, so I'm not surprised it screams. It's like comparing a 458 GTE to a Aston Martin GTE V8 wise.
Ah! Not louder. Faster yes, more powerful yes. I always liked the visual look of the Corvette DP, like the road car/race blends you'd see at Le Mans in the late 90s. But yeah, like I said I was at Belle Isle a couple weeks ago (which I attend every year) and I can honestly tell you the DPi Caddy is quieter than the Corvette DP was. The Corvette DP was one of the loudest cars I've heard in my life (have not seen GTPro/GTLM cars in person), TV never did that car just. First time I heard it was on a cross over bridge as the IMSA's were released for practice, and I was never more sure the world was ending than when that Corvette DP drove beneath me.
.
I have to agree the older Corvette DP was louder and and more thunderous earth shattering sound than the Cadillac DPi's. The Cadillac DPi's aren't quite on the same level as the C7.R's either.I don't know how it isn't louder, from what I've heard it is louder than the Vette GTE/GTLM which uses the same engine...
I believe he is the team owner, or at least co owner. Is there actually a Jackie Chan affiliation with the Jackie Chan cars or was that just for the sake of naming it?

Perfect, well then when that's the P2 car that wins outright it's gonna be really fitting lol.Yup there certainly is, Jackie himself co-owns and runs the DC team.
He's also a founding member of the BAXI DC team in LMP3, which has done very well, to say the least, in ELMS
Aston Martin contriving to not win GTE again.
New P2 rules, they all run a spec Gibson motor.I just realized, what happened to all the Nissan powered LMP2s this year? They used to be all over the place.

Not to mention that this is the first 24 Hours of Le Mans EVER... without open top carsOh that's right, I forgot about the spec rules. That's really lame.
