Sorry, I won't be racing. Got invited to go for a motorcycle ride with my brother's and my dad. :) Be back in a few hours.
 
Thanks for letting me race guys. Ran 15 laps on mediums right in the middle block of the race. Did I miss the rules on pitting? I seemed to pit way less than everyone else. Gained a lot of time due to others pitting so often.

I hit the pits 4 times.
 
I know guto and I did 3 stops. I think Seth did about 4 from being punted off, and I think some of the other GTS guys did 4 stops as well because they ran out of fuel. So you pitted the same amount as everyone else. I just think that because you didn't have as much ballast as the rest of us, you didn't burn as much fuel and thus didn't need to stay in the pits as long.
 
Thanks for explaining, Guto. He's correct. You add weight until you don't podium finish, or you're maxed out. I'm at 1145kg for the next Sunday race. I can only go up to 1200kg. But when you finish off the podium (DNF's don't count) you get all your ballast taken away. And the race you won rock, was an endurance race, that's why it took 2 hours, so it's worth double points! I'll post results later on!

As for not getting to start, winner, you still get pole position points, and half points for attending and starting the race. I can't give you full points because you didn't return and you didn't run any racing laps! Sorry.

I agree with your ruling. I was out to dinner. I will be racing Monday. Panoz is not as fast at SSR5, best I've got is 1'16.250, but the best I can get consistently is 1'16.750. :fail:

I'll need to test the McLaren out... Last time I got a 3'33 with that thing was when I ran it with 700hp and 1050kg
 
ADR sounds really familiar... Don't you guys choose new recruits names for them?
 
IMO you're getting a lot out of that Panoz Winner, but I've received a few questions regarding it's 'legality'. So I'm asking you to place your car on 'share' before the race tomorrow so I can make sure you don't have any upgrades to it. Just so everyone knows that the speed/setup of your car is legitimate and there isn't any fuss about you running a turbo or engine tuning!

I was able to get times close to your's at Sarthe with more 20kg weight on it for the balance. I like the way it drives, when you get it to turn in it's great and super stable.

I'll have the points from today posted soon.

It's ok. Next race won't be nearly as long. 2 hours was the longest race weve had, and ironically the highest participation! You completed over half distance, so you'll get the full points payout. 👍

Sweet, me and Zovo lose all our ballast now then, the old GTR was getting very chunky, tyre wear was becoming an issue for me as well

The part that sucks for me is if I didn't go wide at Indianapolis in lap 1 I probably could have hung on to the leader for a little longer, but wow he was GONE!

Then when I came out of the pits the second time I seen your arrow come through while I'm travelling the pit lane the second time I knew it was going to be a great battle, specially with my setup being about straight line speed and yours more then likely focused towards cornering,

How was that McLaren so fast?

Sure! It isn't much though, that's for sure. My tune was so simple that even though I lost it, I can get it back quickly.

It can't be because I was tired, My qually lap was within .050 of the car in second place, and I would believe I was fastest at the end of all the speed traps, I know Seth had the draft on me at least 3 laps in a row down all the straights, and couln't get around me 3 out of 4 times, only because of the gearing and that I was running around 30/ 50 aero points,

The McLaren F1 GTR is one of the most underrated cars in GT5. It is the Ford GT of the GT1 class... only its speed on the straight isn't completely ridiculous. Mercedes, Nissan, Panoz, and Toyota all beat the McLaren on the straight, but its cornering is legendary. Remember there are only 3 24 hours of Le Mans winners in this series, Dodge Viper GTS-R (GT2 Class win 1998,1999), Honda NSX-R (GT2 class win 1995), and McLaren F1 GTR (Overall winner 1995).
