That gives understeer which i dont like much. Negative toe front -.05 with positive .20 rear. I'm on my way home now so in 5 minutes I'll open a room.

Excellent race guys. I was only 27 sec. off from Anthony and seth this time. The first 10 to 11 laps were awesome. I even cought back up twice. I forgot what practice does for a car lol.

Thank you for forgiving my mistake.

Sorry I couldn't hang around, I didn't want to ruin the results for everyone by falling asleep,

I don't have the Nissan or the Merc. The style of that car isn't good on flat slow corners. Its either ungodly slow, or melting tires. Unless you can show me some super tune I'm not aware of, weighing 975kg's.

I gave franko my setup yesterday and he improved his lap times by almost 2 seconds. I am not at home at the moment so i can't give it to you. I can say that i run lsd at 13/10/8 and toe angle at- .05/.20

yeah, seth was very generous to share his setup with me, and i can't thank him enough.

here's the stuff, lsd at 13/10/8, ride height -5/-2, stiffness 16,8/17,2, dampers 6/5, 4/5, rollbars 3/3, camber 2,0/0,8 toe -0,05/0,20.
i believe that's it, it's all from my head, i'm not near ps3 right now.
i ended up being 0,1 second of the pole qualy lap, at 1:35:4xx, instead of 1:37:6xx or 7xx.
i even tried it at 1050 kg, and it was super fast. and stable. and fast. :D

Good race yesterday seth. Could we have a points update for the first 3 races of the season for Monday's. I'd like to see where I'm at. :)

Sunday's series hasn't been updated since Nurburg. :)

Speaking of the points. I just had alefin update sunday through La Sarthe. It's up on the 2nd post! I'll see what he can do about Monday's.

I'm looking for help in specing the GTS cars for next season. They will be cut back by about 40-50hp to keep tire life on them at a longer rate to reduce pit stops and to make them closer to what their real life speeds are. So far this is what I'm proposing-

Dodge Viper GTS-R 540hp/1150kg
Nissan GTR LM (or '00 R34 JGTC) 560hp/1150kg
Panoz Esperante GTR-1 560hp/1170kg
Chevrolet Corvette C5-R 550hp/1150kg
Honda NSX-R LM 560hp/1120kg
Jaguar XJ220 LM 550hp/1180kg
Pagani Zonda LM 540hp/1160kg
Nomad Lamborghini Diablo GT-1 550hp/1200kg

The power levels and weights are fine, I'm just debating on which cars should receive turbo upgrades.

Give them all upgrades and re-spec them all. It will make life easier for regulation checks.

I have to agree with TNT here seth, give them the steroids then spec them, if they are spec'd that way you know anyone who choses to try be cheating actually wont be, it will make your life easier in the long run,

Also looking at those spec's, the Dodge is still going to be the domination sensation,

Cars like the Viper Zonda Corvette Nissan Jaguar and Panoz have more downforce than the NSX and Lamborghini. I don't think they need any extra boost. The issue now is some cars are outclassed regardless. You can't keep the consistency up in some of the cars as easily as you can with the Viper for example. With 540hp, and no upgrades it won't be dominating. Instead it'll be equal. I think I'll let the NSX be the only car to run the Turbo 3 and engine upgrades because that's what it takes for it to reach the level of power it currently sits at.

As for GT1, we'll be going back to 550hp or 560hp to give them a little more tire life as well. I know it gets really really hard for some guys with the huge ballast totals they run. That goes for both classes. And as for ballast, if were keeping the ballast throughout the season, that's definitely even harder if you're consistently near the top.

After doing 3 events in the Lambo, I have to say, that thing needs some form of boost, I couldn't do anything other then spin, plus it really couldn't run wheel to wheel with anything, I felt the panoz was in the similar boat,

Also, I believe there is a GT500 Nissan in the game that carries 50 points downforce on the nose, between '00 and '02, perhaps a better fit under new regs?

You just need a good setup on it. I was faster than every car but the GTR and Zonda with the Lambo. I haven't found any JGTC GTR that has 50 points of front d.f. So if you come across it let me know.

If you're spinning it at current specs a boost isn't going to stop that, as Seth said it needs a setup

You could probably take another 20hp off the viper and it would still be the best car. It handles perfectly and has great tyre wear too.

I think the GTR is the fastest car. Not on the straights, but around the turns it's hard to beat. I think the Viper is a great car, really balanced. But from what I've seen and my experience, the Zonda Lambo and Jaguar are where it's at.

The S3 reg's are at lower BHP, Much easier to drive, Hence why I think it needs a turbo or something,

Turbo will add top speed, I won't give it a turbo as it's top speed was already really fast. With the new regs I'm proposing for S3, it'll have a power advantage to compensate for it's heavier standard weight (1200kg) compared to other GTS cars (like NSX 1120kg).

The NSX was the car I was wondering about. I drove it once and thought it to be a bit underpowered.

Dropping the hp on the GT1 class would be good. I like tire life. Could we lessen the laps some for season 3 and leave the hp where it's at? :)

I'll make the races around 70 minutes long with endurance races 90 minutes. I'm going to also drop GT1 to 550hp each car.

Thank you seth for changing the race time. 👍
It's a great series and I've enjoyed it very much.

For season 3 I prefer to race on Monday's. I want to atleast have one day out of the weekend with the wife without racing. We have Blancpain every other Sunday and I'll be racing that one. Then you have the little cars on Thursday, which I love racing those. JSTC starting in a week or two. Tuning 3 to 4 cars in a week is enough for me lol.

I just keep the same setup on my cars and change the gearing. It usually works out well for me. No need to have these fancy tunes for specific tracks. I'll be on in a few minutes to test these cars out along with some other series.

I've only been doing slight adjustments to suit the track. I have found a balance on some of the cars I drive.

You give Dev one week, one track, and one lap time and he'll get all cars within 3 tenths of each other. Issue with him is that he uses stock suspensions and LSD for all cars.

He claims that he has the entire 98 GT1 class within 3 tenths at LM, including the Panoz, and LMP as well. I highly doubt his claim since "The Glitch" has been pulling crazy stuff on this game since a year ago.
Always about a second faster during time trials and races, even though he drives slow cars. He calls it his "joint setup," but I swear it is something more.
One more thing, Daytona is not a curse for him, he just keeps getting depressed during the race there and is less aware of his surroundings.
