I believe I should have 25kg added to my weight for a total of 1055kg for Monza. 1060kg for seth and 1075kg for anthony (he wasn't here last race). I think that's how it is. :)

We aren't counting ballast for Suzuka, it wasn't a full race. The points were given because those that showed up and raced kept their commitments. I'm not going to punish anyone with weight ballast when only 3 of us actually raced up until it was pointless to carry on.

Cool. I was starting to run with it, but I'm ok without it. 👍

I probably won't make it tonight. If I'm back early I'll go online to see if you have started but I probably won't be home before 10pm.

I'm not going to make it either. Wife wants me to do a few things.
Plus 70 laps at Indy + 75 here later today for Blancpain is way to much. I have to accomplish some things today.
My dedication to the series has always been Mondays Seth and always will be till you decide to stop running it. :)
Sundays are harde for me that's why I miss more races.

Aye... at my father's yet.
American tracks aren't that kind to me, so I don't know if I'll be there or not.

I can make it, but its unlikely I will be able to complete the race,

Well, the room is up so were waiting. If people show up we can have a race, if not I guess we'll just practice for Monday's race at Monza or do tests for next season.

INTRODUCTION

The Autodromo Nazionale Monza (known as Monza for short) is a race track located near the town of Monza, north of Milan, in Italy. The circuit's biggest event is the Formula One Italian Grand Prix, which has been hosted there since the sport's inception. Built in the Royal Villa of Monza park in a woodland setting, the 5.793 kilometres (3.6 miles) Grand Prix track, plays host to our 90s FIA GT/LM Round 5. The opening of the 'European Season'.

The major features of the track include the Curva Grande, the Curva di Lesmo, the Variante Ascari and the Curva Parabolica. The high speed curve, "Curva Grande", is located after the Variante del Rettifilo chicane which is located at the end of the front straight or Rettifilo Tribune. This is taken flat out by our cars leading to the 2nd chicane. The track also features 3 major straights with speeds reaching 320kmh+, followed by tight chicanes and the infamous Variante Ascari. The longest straight measures 950Meters (.6 mile). Can you stand atop the podium in Italy and conquer 'de Monza'?

Frustrating I keep getting disco'd. Oh well. My strategy of starting out on mediums hasn't been panning out very well. I'm going to stop doing that.

I did get a bit of a laugh when Seth drove into the sand on the final turn of the pace lap.

Also, would it be a good idea to separate the two classes at the start? GT1 start a few seconds ahead of GTS. Kinda like they do in real life.

I totally agree. Have them group up a bit farther behind us. There was a group I ran with one season who did that between GT500's & GT300's.

I will do that for next season. This season there isnt huge interest and GTS is almost nipping at GT1's heels. So theyre only a couple seconds slower. That will change for next season. GTS will be a good 4 to 5 seconds slower.

Awww... I like the GTS class just being 2 seconds slower. Makes the slow GT1 cars have some incentive, and gives the lead GTS car something to look forwards to. Plus making the GTS class 5 seconds slower would just make passing lapped traffic just more miserable.

I don't really think they will be 5 seconds slower than GT1. More around 3-4, 5 is max at possibly the faster tracks like Monza. I think GT1's will do 1:38s there, and GTS 1:42s with the new regs. The cars will still be fast, but they won't be 'straight line' monsters with more power than the GT1 cars. The regs are just an idea for now and tinkering will still be done to them before it's final. The only thing that's final now is the -30hp drop for GT1 cars to 560hp.
I don't like that the fast GTS cars become even faster when being pulled around the track by GT1 cars.
Yea, the draft will make or break you. Something I'm not fond of for fairness to guys on differing strategies. I can get away with using mediums on the first stint because I know the CLK very well, and usually practice with mediums. With the GTS class, you have to be on your game if you are going to make a medium tire first stint work.

Only 11 points behind you for the moment. :)

Yeah were running pretty close together. Hopefully Franko and Anthony can rejoin our races and we can have better competition in GT1.

If it could be done and raced online, with the correct weight <1000kg and balance (not 56/44) I would allow it in GT1.

Guto, they are up! Last time I checked the table photos still worked.
