Well that's what I heard, either way Audi dominance is not financial in nature, its an engineering and driver advantage, which they have made for themselves. Remember Audi where the underdog once too and they dominated.
It's all relative.. Audi building on previous investment and learned tech.
Overall (entire years of program) they've probably spent way more than Toyota.

"Even the LMP2 has passed the Toyota..what's going on?"
"Maybe the driver of the Toyota feels that there is no point in competition anymore?"
(FIA WEC commentary)

Aww.. :(
Why does Audi have to be so damn dominant...they made the competitor surrender for god's sake..

Level5 heading out to finish.

6 hours of safety cars? This has got to be one of the most boring Le Mans ever, without even talking about what happened at the start of the race ):

It's been a disappointing race IMO. Just whenever racing threatened to break out, it was killed by a safety car. With an hour to go GTE-Pro was ON, and the safety car yet again crippled it (with the stupid 3-safety-car rule and the length of it). Plus Simonsen's death has overshadowed it for me.

What... the Audis... lapped the Toyota again? :odd:

No..the Toyota was no longer a lap behind for a while but they "surrendered" and let the Audi pass them again, thus they are once again a lap behind.
