It's been a disappointing race IMO. Just whenever racing threatened to break out, it was killed by a safety car. With an hour to go GTE-Pro was ON, and the safety car yet again crippled it (with the stupid 3-safety-car rule and the length of it). Plus Simonsen's death has overshadowed it for me.

Yeah, I agree. Still better than last year, though that's not hard. I really wished to see more competition and I'm honestly not looking forward to any sort of celebration. I'm actually somewhat glad it's over . The amount of pace cars, etc...

Supposing the Toyota unlaps itself, yes.

At this point though, that is very, very unlikely.

Sadly, Aston Martin couldn't grab a win in the name of Allan Simonsen but at least his fellow countryman Tom Kristensen was able to. Congratulations Audi for the win, and thanks Toyota for the fight you gave and the great effort!

I wonder what the podium celebrations will be like... will they tone it down, or will they just celebrate the usual way.

I hope they keep it classy. A man died, after all...
