I can tell your devastated, was he on one of the teams you were rooting for?

All of us here are rooting for team "Motorsport". So, when a member of the family dies it's devastating regardless of what actual team we support.

But thats problem, it's french highways Armco, not tyres.

I am maybe sounding gloomy, but I wonder if a chicane or something will arrive there.

The problem I believe is that there was no room for the Armco to absorb the impact. The fence was right against a tree where he hit.

Nicely put 👍

Speed Fox Sports still hasn't mentioned it yet as far as i know.

Its already been posted on the site though here. They'll probably mention it any minute.

Edit: They've said it now.

What a tragic accident. Allan was one of the most talented GT drivers whatever he drove, I remember years ago when he would turn around races in British GT when he got into the Ferrari at the driver change.

EUROsport shown a Renault ad with Raikkonen in it.

It was mildly funny and had my favourite driver in it. As you may have noticed, ad breaks :-/

Le man's hasn't incorporated something like the "SAFER" barrier?

Most motorsports, don't have a Nascar safer barrier they have other feature that you don't see in Nascar. Those barrier were made for nascar due to the situation which is Oval tracks.

You'd think that F1 drivers would be prone to injuries like that more often since they have less protection. Just crazy.

This too.
