In slightly bright news, Aston Martin is leading the GTE Pro class with #97 driven by Mücke. A pesky Manthey Porsche is 2nd, and Makowiecki in Aston #99 is 3rd.

The guys from Gaydon better give their all for a win.

Such a terrible accident. I thought he would be okay when they said that he was conscious, really sad to hear that he didn't make it.

Toyota's windscreen washer is also working very well. 👍

I've always thought that if I could get into motorsports, I could do that. I'm very tempted to apply to Audi.

Good to see we'll have another battle up front, very soon.

they're commentating as if nothing has happened.

The guy currently commentating on Eurosport, I can't remember his name (he does it every year), whilst talking about it you could hear him welling up. It's sad news that none of us want to hear but he's got a job to do, and he has to carry on doing it professionally.

I insist, we must know how to get there!!! I must confess that at my uni I chose philosophy just because I didn't found "Professional racecar windscreen wiper"

The FIA WEC time gaps are confusion, its difficult to figure out how far behind the Toyota's P1s are. It looks like their both a lap down? They should just give the actual gaps instead of gap to the next car

It updates whenever a car crosses the line. Confusing though.

Eurosport showing some GT action for a change.

There's a lack of sector times which causes that.

The timing Eurosport is showing has everyone but the lead car one lap down.
