You think you've got it hard eh? It's not even shown live on TV in the city it's held in.
That's harsh but I suspect it's so people will turn up at the gate instead.
They do the same thing here with the football.

A Gimp suit and a bath tub filled with milk..Not sure who thought that was even remotely close to being a good idea..

Not sure. I don't have pay TV. We used to get coverage back in the Andretti vs Unser days & it was worth sitting up till all hours to watch it but still with 10% of the starting line up it's be good to be able to cheer on Power, Briscoe & Davison.
I remember Davison from the days when he came up to my hips! His Dad Jon was the promoter at my local racetrack.

98th. Has there been one ever year?

edit: guess not, since the first one was 1911
1942-1945 no races
No races during WWI either, IIRC.

They said the race was going to get underway at about 12:12 IMS/US EDT time. Dunno if it's for the green flag or the command to start the engines.

Start should be in ~20 minutes according to one ESPN reporter.
So glad it's broadcasted here in Germany, no commercials too.

ABC with something that should have aired in 2011, TBH. :dopey:

Anyone with a guess as to number of yellows today? I'm thinking 4.

I still remember Cheever and Goodyear last year complaining about the leader burning too much fuel as if someone couldn't lead..

Briscoe with Left Rear tire issues

ADD-IT: Taking advantage of ESPN3's In-Car Cam option here. Dunno if you have it where you are outside of the US.
