A new update is coming 2018/09/26

And yet no Power reduction for the faster in a straight line Nissan? PD might as well give Nissan the Manufacturers Trophy now considering how desperate they are for them to win

It's very fast on the straights but a lil b**ch coming out of the corners (with a DS4).. so i IMO no need to nerf it..

Just watched the epic update trailer - great music, and some extrememly sexy angles on these cars/tracks.

These reveal clips are such a treat. Used to be we'd have to wait years at a time to experience the wonderful PD cinematography

Can't wait to tear it up in that NSX, got the psvr already set up for when I get off work!

7. Physics Simulation Model
- The Tyre Wear value has been adjusted;

Curious to see what they did. During last saturday's race at Nurburgring I noticed my Mustang with medium tires had more tire wear than the Corvette, a similar car, using softs. So this could impact much more than any BoP changes.

Damn, Ferrari got a massive nerf. I don't think it deserved, for both cars.

4C gr4 deserved a nerf. GTR Gr3 deserved a nerf.

Idk if this has happened to anyone else, but I locked out controller usage by pressing x then o too quickly. I had no input in gt but my controller still worked elsewhere on my ps3. I had to reset the game to get it working again.

Someone clearly didn't watch the World Tour event

I've watched it live from the beginning to the end. But that guys didn't used a DS4. And IMO it's one of the hardest cars to handle in Gr.3...

Edit: Plus i'm no Lightning or Doodle... i'm no alien...

DS4/wheel is irrelevant. You balance the cars around the top guys because they are the ones reaching the car's potential. It's no 'harder' to drive than the Ferrari or Lamborghini.

That's your opinion, it's just not what i am experiencing.

Well the gr4 gtr has had a really heavy handicap and the power is still too low for it

They gave a nerf stick to the Dodge gr3 once again......how convenient to reduce chances to Nissans main competitor just before world finals?!

Can't complain about the rest of the update, best one so far. I wish they would remove fuel completely from qualy though...

Sony would never shutdown GTSport or any GT game,it's their racing franchise Playstation started with it,GT only dies when Playstation dies.

Is Sony willing to support the game for the long term thats my question.

If Sony wants more money I will glady pay for DLC packs for new cars and tracks strictly the ones never featured in the game like the FXXK and P1 so on or tracks like Istanbul Park or Imola.

The problem with GT Sport adding paid DLC is that it focuses mostly on online play. So what happens when GT Sport has 5 DLC tracks? Are they going to use them in FIA events? So people who don't buy DLC aren't able to participate in a chunk of FIA events. That's not even pay to win that's pay to play, that's even worse. No big deal for casual FPS games and what not, but if GT Sport is giving away prize money, and trips to participate in World Tour events and Finals, then everyone needs to have the chance to participate in every race, not just those who pay for DLC.

That said, if they add DLC packs that you can only use in SP and private lobby's then I won't care, I won't buy them anyways. They may just not sell as many and it may not be worth it because SP and Lobby's are a smaller market withing the game.

You need to learn about the purpose of a business.

I agree shutting down Evolution Studios was a bad decision, but i don't think that sets a trend,my opinion is that Sony has alot more tolerance for PD/GT than they had for Evolution Studios.

I cant disagree with your statements its true DLC does divide the playerbase.

I participate in a Project Cars 2 league in Australia for the next season I asked for the Ferrari F355 Challenge to be the next car unfortunately a lot of them said no due to the fact most people in the league do not buy project cars 2 dlc so doing a season on a dlc car splits the community.

I just hope Sony does not pull the plug because I think Gt Sport is still popular and it is growing due to the success of that world tour i think Sony will continue on supporting the game.
