A new update is coming 2018/09/26

So we should not request cars we want because PD is giving us the cars we request?
No, I'm just saying that they have an internal lineup of cars to offer in the updates and if the cars we want fall into this lineup so much better, but to complain because they are not there yet is quite useless.
There could be or not, just wait monthly and free and see if the PD has listened to the feedback or if it falls within their internal choices, while some requests have been met ... see what in the future will release.

Tested the 996 2001 and 997 2008. Both are looking really good and their engine sound is great! I took the default tires (sport hard) and they behave like a truck. Breaks aren't so good compared to the 911 GT3 RS.

Will test both again with hard and soft racing tires.

Or just head into the Suggestions forum and "Like" them.

Is Gt sport going to be supported for the next year I always feared that one day Sony might pull the plug.

I hope this wont be true because the updates are awesome.

Difficult to tell. They pulled the plug with DRIVECLUB what nobody of us saw coming. It can happen at any time.

My questions are. where is Lotus? I would love a lotus elise on a few occasions. small light and nimble around corners and fast to boot.
Where is the Esprit? where is the rest of the Ford dealership? Like the focus or the fiesta.
Why can't I have body kits to apply?
Why does Seat and Fiat only have 1 car each? where is the seat ibiza? Where is the BMW 7 series where is the BMW 1 series

The body kits though... If gt sport had them I would never buy a need for speed game ever again.
They are all in GT6.

That would actually be the worse so much stuff for GT Sport to cover but Sony would not see it that way

996 is quite OP in N300, very oversteer-prone tho

NSX is also quite oversteer-prone, a bit weak on straights, but other than that, great car

RX500 has the potential to be very OP in N200 with right setup, need to figure that out aswell

Haven't tried the other cars yet

My questions are. where is Lotus?
Hethel, near Norwich.

Lotus was in GT Sport in pre-release material, however there seems to be a disagreement between Sony/PD and Lotus over some of the terms of the licensing agreement which has resulted in Lotus - at least for now - not being present.

Where is the Esprit?
That would be the same answer as for Lotus, as it is a Lotus.
where is the rest of the Ford dealership?
Define "rest". Is "rest" just the cars you want, or every Ford vehicle sold new right now across the planet?

The vehicles in GT Sport at the moment are the only vehicles that can be in GT Sport at the moment. Anything you want to think of in addition to that is not absent, it's simply not possible to have it in the game right now. There are myriad reasons for this, and what these reasons are differ from car to car.

Like the focus or the fiesta
The Focus is present, as a Gr.B rally car.
Why can't I have body kits to apply
Gran Turismo has never really had body kits. Early games had an all-in-one race modification. GT6 had a limited number of aesthetic alterations on a limited number of vehicles - some more wide-ranging than others, some much more basic. Whole vehicle body kits has never been a Gran Turismo thing.
Why does Seat and Fiat only have 1 car each?
SEAT is not in GT Sport. For FIAT, see below.
where is the seat ibiza? Where is the BMW 7 series where is the BMW 1 serie

But none of this has anything to do with the v1.28 update...

Sport Soft tyres seemed to be the choice for me.

Gr.3 Class
・Audi R8 LMS (Audi Sport Team WRT) '15 [Power Ratio : 92% > 93%]

Gr.4 Class
・Audi TT Cup '16 [Power Ratio : 104% > 105%]
・Peugeot RCZ Gr.4 [Power Ratio : 110% > 111%]

I release a video yesterday saying I'm going to drive for Audi, today both cars get buffed. I work for PD confirmed?:lol:.

Only playing of course, that's a nice BoP for the TT, I think it was needed from the race I did the other day. RCZ getting another buff still won't help it's tyres but it will make it impossible for anyone to pass on the straights. Honestly think they should focus on weight or retuning that car to have the ability to turn more rather than power.

Any info on lobby issues being fixed? First and foremost the broken rolling start.

Can't wait to go home after work and feast on those new machines!

The only cars I didnt buy was the BMW GT3, the XNR and the Alfa TZ2.

I know I will probably get the BMW in the DWG and the other 5 road cars are so cheap anyway.

The XNR and TZ2 I dont care for.

Strange that they reduced the power of the GR4 NSX and 458 yet increased the power of the GR4 TT and RCZ. As with all fwd cars, they were already too fast in a straight line. Was really hoping to see the GR4 Megane Sport given a big power reduction and the GR3 Evo too. Strange choices.

Very disappointing to hear.
How could they not fix the penalty system?
So I guess you still get disqualified when some D-bag bumps your back end a few times

Hum.. how long have you been playing GTS?? Less then a month... I bet!!

The ruling ( and only) rule on penalty system is: Changes???? Only to make it worst...

Gr.1 Class
・Audi Vision Gran Turismo '18 [Power Ratio : 85% > 87%]
・Alpine Vision Gran Turismo 2017 [Power Ratio : 107% > 110%]
・Dodge SRT Tomahawk Vision Gran Turismo (Gr.1) [Power Ratio : 87% > 89%]
New Group 1 meta? The Audi VGT was scary quick in Kawakana's hands at Maggoire practice, whilst the Tomahawk's main weakness of poor acceleration will be mitigated. The Alpine shows promise too given the strength of it's buff.

・Jaguar XJR-9 '88 [Power Ratio : 88% > 90%]
・Mazda 787B '91 [Power Ratio : 96% > 98%]
・Mercedes-Benz Sauber Mercedes C9 '89 [Power Ratio : 86% > 87%]
・Nissan R92CP '92 [Power Ratio : 87% > 88%]
At least they're trying to make the Group C cars competitive, but this BoP update was for the most part a power creep in group 1 so I don't think it's enough yet. Maybe the R92CP will see more play.

・Peugeot L750R HYbrid Vision Gran Turismo, 2017 [Power Ratio : 87% > 86%]
I almost shed a tear. Goodbye, PUG longboi. I'll never forget the FIA race we won together.

Gr.3 Class
・Dodge Viper SRT GT3-R '15 [Power Ratio : 82% > 81%]
・Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 '13 [Power Ratio : 99% > 98%]
Why is this a thing? They already nerfed the Dodge into the ground and Ferrari barely made it into the World Finals despite having some pretty good drivers on their side.

・Peugeot PEUGEOT Vision Gran Turismo (Gr.3) [Power Ratio : 100% > 99%]
・Volkswagen Beetle Gr.3 [Weight Reduction Ratio : 110% > 109%]
Okay these make more sense. Most FIA Peugeot drivers will take the RCZ anyway, so this merely prevents daily races on power tracks from being one-make. And aside from Derek, who drove the GTI Roadster, VW were very weak in the FIA so the Beetle buff is probably fair.

Gr.4 Class
・Ferrari 458 Italia Gr.4 [Power Ratio : 100% > 99%]
・Honda NSX Gr.4 [Power Ratio : 95% > 94%]
This has got to be a prank, double nerf for a manufacturer that barely made the finals? Also they nerf the NSX but not the Cayman despite the NSX not really being better than the Cayman in the current BoP.

Gr.4 Class
・Audi TT Cup '16 [Power Ratio : 104% > 105%]
・Peugeot RCZ Gr.4 [Power Ratio : 110% > 111%]
・Volkswagen Scirocco Gr.4 [Power Ratio : 91% > 92%]
PD really wants the Audi TT to succeed. I worry that this is going to turn some Group 4 Race B's into TT one-makes, though the addition of tyre wear in Race C/FIA is still likely going to prevent the FF cars from being OP in those races.

Overall, I think Group 1 is hugely improved, but I worry that the BoP might have regressed in certain areas of Group's 3 and 4.

Every single time they have changed the penalty system it has become worse. Right now, i would rather they leave it exactly how it is, faults and all. That way i know it can't possibly get any worse.
PD amaze in so many ways yet when it comes to a penalty system they infuriate me! So much to the point where im watching real life races and the cars run off track at exact points where we would collect a stupid penalty and what happens in the real life race? Nothing. Because it's nothing more than a racing incident. Bathurst GT3 endurance race; cars scrape the walls. No penalty, no one even flinches. Last weeks Gr4 at Bathurst; slight little side scrape, instant 5 second penalty.
If we didn't know better it would be reasonable to assume that no one at PD has ever watched a real race.

Been driving the M3 GT around for a bit, and I have to say, it's excellent. This is one kind of thing I wanted to see in GT Sport, the likes of non-GT3 race cars having the same pace as GT3 cars, and being included in the Gr.3 class. It's a type of variety that makes the game interesting 👍👍 not like that haphazard inclusion of the Ford GT LM in Gr.2 ... :yuck:

36.5 gb, where did that come from? Don't know why they couldn't wait until tomorrow to release it, gonna be a few people annoyed by their cars getting nerfed tonight. My car's stayed the same so ill be alright. The Ferrari's get a nerf? That's bizarre, it's pretty uncompetitive anyway, not least the GT3 car, maybe tyre wear will be better with less power going to the rear tyres...

Dust off your Thrustmasters for Passion of the Wankel! :D

Some interesting new events added and a new endurance race is always welcome.

The Alfa being 10m seems reasonable as I was expecting 15m. Has anyone bought it, what is it like to drive? And what other historic car is it most like - the 250 I would expect?

The RX500 reminds me of the DeLorean, wonder if there will be any BTTF liveries for it!

Loads of boring grey Fuji scapes too, which was more interesting as a tour of the circuit than anything I would want to use for photos.

First thing I did was buy the Nissan 300ZX and did the RBR Circuit Experience, hoping I didn't win the car I just bought. Now time for some racing!

Yeah Tiger, I understand when they fix one thing, it makes something else worse. I think it's common knowledge by now. I've been playing GTS since it first came out in October, if that makes you feel any better.

Being DQ for no fault of my own makes this game unplayable, so I was hoping they could at least fix that.

I didn't know I needed your permission to post my opinion

The M3 GT Gr.3 is really enjoyable. I don't know how competitive it will be, but it's certainly more fun to drive than the M6 Gr.3.
And better sounding than the Z4 GT3. This always reminds me that Polyphony are now under the right direction when it comes to the sounds of many cars, unlike the sounds in Forza which are rather generic and somewhat fake.
