I did one lap with the steath IS350 with stock no tune and no oil change. 2:03.471 it likes to spin easy. After being careful with throttle kept getting in the 2:01
Thanks for sharing. You are a bit faster than me on this car. Are you be able to win with it or did you happen to get Bronze like me too?

So I went for it with the IS350 and managed to get silver with stock settings. Lead car was the GTR Lemans. Managed to pass the Citroen GT on toward end of last lap. My fastest time was on last lap 2:01.281. The GTR was still 10 sec ahead at end. I think I could beat him with tune though.

Honda HSV-010 with power at 600pp was an easy win, I like this car a lot, got gold in a lot of racing events with it.
Honda NSX GT500 '08, again 600pp, again easy gold, lead car was McLaren.
Detuned Audi R18 with priano suspension and lsd tune - easy gold. Stock R18 is just a handfull.
GT-R nismo GT3, tried it stock and with a tune, 3rd place.
GT-R GT500 '08 with motor city 600pp tune, finished 4-5 seconds behind TS030 on 2 attempts. I guess it's possible to win Toyota with it, I'm just not fast enough. Managed an easy gold against corvette lead car.
Audi R8 LMS ultra '12, 3rd place.
Detuned Audi R8 race car '01 (LMP) - easy gold.
Detuned Monster Sport SX4 - win against Ford GT LM with 1:59-2:00 lap time. Really fun to throw it in the corners at high speed.
BMW Z4 GT3 '11 - ran it for 3 laps against TS030, could not decrease the gap, it just stayed at 0:38

Overall I find it really hard to brake 2:00 lap time with GT3 cars, while with 600pp tuned GT500 cars it's easy to go 1:56 - 1:58

Ran a few cars on this yesterday.
06(I think) Supra GT500(the premium one), fastest lap in 1:58s, total time about 10:38 for the win(leader was McLaren)
HSV-010 2012, fastest lap in 1:56s, total time about 10:29 for the win(leader was Zonda)

Kept cycling through to make sure I get TS030 as the rabbit, running a TS030 against it. Fastest lap in 1:51s, total time 9:58 to win just by 0.2 sec.

Using Praiano 's setup except downforce which is Exeter. Default final gear and set to 180 mph and lower to 3450 as final gear.

I have run this one with around a dozen different cars so far, won with all of them. I rate the Imprezza Super Tourer the most fun car to drive so far. It is so cool just throwing it round corners flat tack. Would love to drive one in real life. Give it a go, great fun.

nice tune @nowcontrol, took a couple of attempts till I got used to car, you got it dialled in with that tried it stock and backend is allover round corner's. I tried with ford falcon before Mazda and got 2nd, may keep tweeking that till I get 1st

Had to try a NASCAR at least once, the Zonda left the inside open at Stowe and I cut inside and the AI wasn't giving up, fun last few corners.

Wow...Major props for even thinking to try a NASCAR car in this event!!

I'll give it a shot tonight, but I won't be posting the results... If you finished this closely against the Zonda LM Race Car, I don't think I have a chance in hades.

I wish we could start an online race were everyone driges the 2J with high rpm turbo. Lol! :P
Isn't that pretty much how the 600PP+ Seasonal Events go??

I just took out my ole McLaren F1 GTR Race Car '97 (the one you find in the BMW Dealership) and did a 10:29.138 (fastest lap was 1'56.xxx) but I had a few screw-ups. I should have been faster than that. Actually, I think I need to look at the setup I'm currently running. I didn't feel too comfortable throughout the entire race. A shame too because history has shown this was one lean, mean racin' machine!

Great event and good money maker.
The TS30 and the 2J70 are far ahead in Lap times, up to 4-5 seconds in my tests.
Extremely hard to win with another car against the TS30 without to cut the road in turn 3.

Just completed this event with the HSV-010 GT Base model (no aids, ABS1). Below are the suspension and LSD settings used to achieve victory:

Ride height (F/R): 60/60
Spring rate (F/R): 15.20/16.14
Dampers (compression), F/R: 4/4
Dampers (extension), F/R: 5/5
Anti-roll bars (F/R): 3/3
Camber (F/R): 1.5/3.5
Toe (F/R): -0.05/0.15
Brake balance (F/R): 5/5

LSD
Initial torque - 10
Acceleration sensitivity - 20
Braking sensitivity - 15

- transmission set to 300km/h top speed
- downforce set to maximum values for both front and rear

Best lap of 1:59.812, total time: around 10:45. I'll try this event again with another race car (there are so many choices)...

Can someone please try the Lexus IS350 Wedsport and report back the lap times please?? It is my favorite car because I have the regular IS350 in real life :D

Gave it a shot with a stock Wedsport. Managed lap times of 2:07-2:11 which was good enough for 6th place overall. Going to try it at 600PP tonight.

I've been liking this event more and more. Tried a ton of cars already from the Nomad Diablo to the McLaren's to the 787B to the TS030 and the 2J.

I really like the sound of the 787B though. Next up is 88C-V

No Aids. Tune. Cockpit Race And View. P1 Pagani Zonda P2 Mercedes Benz SLS. P3 Nissan GT-R Nismo. Pass On Lap 4 At Stowe For The Win. Winning Margin .609. Fast Lap 1:55.

Great! I will give the McLaren F1 GTR Race Car '97 a try and see what happens. Thank you! Do you have a tune for the McLaren BMW?? I did not do a good job with the tune that I have. If you can post one that would be great!!

Oddly enough and with me being a big NASCAR fan, I went back and did this the second day of the event. Won by over a half second against the same Zonda. Passed him about halfway through the last lap and never looked back. Just another run of the mill hurry up and catch the rabbit race. Not much of a challenge, even with a 1,565 pound car. Guess I'll just have to start handicapping myself if I expect to have any kind of challenge.

@ALB123 You should be able to do this without much of a problem with a NASCAR. I mean, if an average driver like me can do it, then you should also be able to. 👍 Good luck, I know you can do it. :)

@skeagracing I came across this tune here on GTPlanet. To be honest, I wasn't a big fan of it but it got the job done for me. I'm going to look into tweaking it and see if I can get it to a point that I feel comfortable in it. You can find the tune HERE. Oh, I tried without camber too...the tune calls for a bit of camber - I ran it both ways.

@GTP_CargoRatt I'll probably give it a try later. I'm going to work on this tune for a while and then go watch some football. :D
