@skeagracing I came across this tune here on GTPlanet. To be honest, I wasn't a big fan of it but it got the job done for me. I'm going to look into tweaking it and see if I can get it to a point that I feel comfortable in it. You can find the tune HERE. Oh, I tried without camber too...the tune calls for a bit of camber - I ran it both ways.

@GTP_CargoRatt I'll probably give it a try later. I'm going to work on this tune for a while and then go watch some football. :D
ALB123,GTP_CargoRatt I just won with the McLaren F1 GTR Race Car '97 and will post the video and my tune. The video is up.

Great job. 👍 I may go back to this event after all and just try some cars that people may suggest or that they may have problems winning with. Not to be an elist by doing this, but more a way to challenge myself based on other people's performance.

The Audi R18 TDI can take the Toyota TS030, I can put down 1:53 / 1:54 second laps. The Toyota is faster in a straight line so it makes things intersting once you get past.

Dirty Diesel Tune won't be the best, but it works for me ;)

My gearing setup is a little odd and needs fine tuning. I'm experimenting to see if the torque generated makes any difference to performance so it's setup for a super early change up...

I just ran with the Honda HSV-010 GT 15th Anniversary Edition. I forgot how much I love this car. My lap times were almost identical to the McLaren F1 GTR Race Car '97. That leads me to believe if I can work out the kinks in that McLaren, it should be faster, for me. Maybe they aren't kinks? Maybe I'm just not used to it? I don't know, but they both took Gold without a problem.

I'm definitely interested in seeing the tune you used @skeagracing...I just never felt comfortable entering or coming out of turns with the setup I used.

Just won it again with my NASCAR car.

595 PP. Won

590 PP. Won

585 PP. Missed by a few seconds but I also got a 5 second ramming penalty so pretty sure it can be won. May try some more later but right now, I need to go see if I can improve my time in the WRS event. Good luck everyone.

This was actually quite fun at 600PP. Got lead just before last corners on lap 5. Best lap 1:57.3. Gonna have to drive this car more often.

I really like the tune @skeagracing! :D It took me about a lap to get used to the gearbox. I will keep this permanently on this car, but I'm going to lower the Final Gear a little bit - I was bouncing off the limiter in 6th gear -- could probably sneak a few extra MPH out of 6th. I was consistently at least a full second faster per lap than with the other tune. 👍 The car just feels a lot better to me. Thank you!!

Used the TS030 and nearly won, but a GT-R Concept LM Race Car rear-ended me into the sand at the final chicane!

I am very happy for you! I have it bouncing cuss I like to pass in the corners. A full second faster is a life time!! Good for you!! I will have the video up very soon.

I just bought a Lexus IS350 GT300 Base Model '08, which is the same car as the Wedsport IS350 just without the fancy livery. I came in 2nd place behind the Toyota TS030. I managed only two laps at 1:59.xxx because I had a couple mistakes (I'll blame it getting used to the new car! :D) and that put my lap times at like 2:01 a couple of times. I think if I go up against the Zonda, I might have a shot - no way could I beat the Toyota TS030 with this car...Not at my skill level. I'm sure in the right hands...Stotty, SW__10, WhoosierGirl, etc. they could do it, but not me. :( :guilty: 👎

I love this track in a race car. Probably my favorite circuit. Won a few times using the McClaren F1 GTR. Ballast added for 600pp, otherwise bone stock on SH tires, ABS 0, cockpit cam. That car is lively enough to keep me on my toes and plenty quick. So glad it's a Premium ride. 2nd place in several stock GT500's.

I won using the Lexus IS350 GT300 Base Model '08 and it is a wonderful car to drive and it a @shaunm80 tune a dam good tune, and my best lap against the Viper is 1:58.386
Im glad that you enjoyed this tune. I have added this tune to my list of gold tunes over in my garage. Thanks for letting me know :)

This is a fun seasonal event, so far I was only able win twice. The car I used was the Honda hsv-010 gt anniversary car, the only things I messed with was the downforce at max for both, the lsd, and the transmission. With my second win, I was almost punted off the track by the ai near the end of the race.

This tune is capable of beating the following cars as rabbits: Zonda LM race car, Mclaren F1 kokusai, GT-R Concept LM , Viper GTS Oreca and GT-R R35 Touring car

Alter the final gear to around 3250-3270 for a bit more stability through certain corners.

I ran it with all aids off except for abs set to 1.

Tune by: @shaunm80

Surprised nobody tried the vision cars. I won it with the Toyota but was left in the dust with the BMW. Mayor issue is the gear box that can't be adjusted

No Aids. Tune By Me. P1 Nissan GT-R. P2 Nissan GT-R. P3 Viper GTS-R Team Orca. Replay View. Pass For The Win Over The Viper On Lap 5 At Arena. Winning Margin .187. Fast Lap 2:00.

One of the more interesting one was RX7 Touring car(the Race Mod from GT5), ran that with mid-rpm turbo to bring the PP to about 580 something, and ran with 3 pedal h-gate(been using sequential for other race car) and was able to beat the race(rabbit was Citroen GT) around 10:38, fastest lap in 1:58s.

And, it starts in P3. I caught up relatively quickly then it wouldn't let go off my rear fans no matter how much gravel I threw back at it. Closed cockpit advantage.

The Mazda Furai '08 chews up all of the rabbits and spits them out of the exhaust around here doing laps of 1:54's-56's, great fun to drive with this nice and steady 600PP tune.

:D 👍

Excellent tune sir! 👍 Consistent 1:54 laps and slowest 1:55. Super fast and incredible grip. :) Only one race done against average rabbit, will edit post for info on stronger...

It felt like driving a train, the TGV, on tracks and leaving everyone behind!

So I went for it with the IS350 and managed to get silver with stock settings. Lead car was the GTR Lemans. Managed to pass the Citroen GT on toward end of last lap. My fastest time was on last lap 2:01.281. The GTR was still 10 sec ahead at end. I think I could beat him with tune though.

Please share me your tune of the IS350 if you do. This is my most favorite car. Thanks.

Stock BMW McLaren GTR @ 600 PP ~ 1:58-2:01 lap times. I finally GOLD IT!!!
~Lexus IS350 Wedsport ~ 2:04-2:07 lap times - 3rd place still. I need to work on this. Guys, please please run this and share your tune :D
~Toyota TS030 ,I will try soon. I think this will be easier win since this car is so damn fast.
~NASCAR car that Pinky girl won with, I hope to get 3rd place or so haha.
~Honda HSV, I think I can run as fast as the BMW McLaren with this car.
~Stock vision project cars, I will try them soon as well. It doesn't seem popular on here but they are fun to drive, aren't they??

Great job on the BMW McLaren GTR!!

Decided to try all of the available GT500 type cars in the game. As anyone would expect, the HSV is head and shoulders above the rest. Noticed an odd thing though, maybe someone could shed some light on. About a year ago I owned the Stealth NSX and was impressed with all it's handling right out of the box. Got quite a few wins with it. But I was victim of that game bug early on that caused your garage to disappear and I haven't gotten around to replacing it. I did, however, get the NSX GT500 base model instead. Is it just me or does that car handle NOTHING like it's Stealth counterpart. I mean, aside from the added power/weight ratio and downforce typical of the stealth cars. The base model has a back end that wants to slide out constantly. Is it just me, or has someone else noticed this? I mean, it's not at all typical of the awesomeness that is NSX.

Aside from that, got some wins with both McLaren GTRs. But the one that has shown the best balance between winability and challenge is the GT-R R35 TC. You have to push it to it's edge and even then, with the right opponents, you won't get into first until late in the last sector of lap 5. (Note, I generally don't do a lot of tuning with my cars, other than stiffening up the roll bars.)
