Has anyone ever had success with those invites? People keep sending them to me and even if I hit accept within seconds, the room doesn't exist or something..

It's a disaster, got invited lots of times by @Paulie and usually: "You cannot enter this room" or stuff like that

It's tough to predict since it depends on so many factors. I do get into rooms sometimes, but I often don't. I'd say my success rate used to be at about 20% a year ago, but now it's getting closer to 50/50 when I try. Most often I just am already in a room so can't easily go accept(and risk not getting in).
I've never managed to clear the tutorial challenge for inviting someone else to my room though... and probably never will. A lot of my problem is that almost everyone who has added me from Ace Combat has far better planes than me so there's not much point in joining their rooms or inviting them.

[Issue Details]Just turned on the game and had a 5.7MB update to do. Not sure what it is yet, presumably a bug fix. It's running super slow, so I won't know for some half hour yet.
Well I guess I can keep trying.
Customers who did not sign in to the game since the July 2014 game update were unable to sign in
to the game after the September 2015 game update.

I understand, but from my point of view is a great thing, I'm leveling up the CFA-44 Strigon and I need to save money, so...good for me!
After some upgrades you'll forget you actually had the plane at lvl 5 already

You do bring a up a great point... I could take my credits and apply them elsewhere!

Yeah the prop planes are pretty fun, and the rankings seem very easy at this stage. I spent the first few fuel units I had when this started on completing some jet propelled challenges. As of typing, using only supplied, I'm around 1600th. Tbh though I'm not concerned about having the P-38L, my Flying Aces Spitfire is level 10 already.

I feel sorry for the people without a Flying Aces plane, my Flying Aces Spitfire seems to have become my most dominant plane, I'm even going to use the level cap increases on it. Did a burn today and encountered level 1 Stonehenge and SOLG, both S ranks with prop planes. There's a lot more pilot skill involved with prop planes as well, with jets it's mostly the aircraft doing the lifting.

I'm currently using a Lvl 4 Zero -FA- just because I want to cut the Me-109 (credits are increased for this tournament so I'll do a burn for the top 300) and this will be my main prop plane, except for maneuverability and defense it's equal to a lvl 10 Me-109...but still has a looow amount of RKTLs

Out of my 1983 sorties, I've had 1100 team victories and 546 MVP's, feels like a pretty good success rate. My highest score ever was ~133,000pts. What stats have you guys got?
Speaking of rocket launchers, they have a HUGE range, effective past 9000m. They're a better weapon than I gave them credit for.

I love my P38, and I hope to get the Aces version. Also, the physics of the propeller planes are ridiculous. Spitfire out-accelerated modern jets..

Wow my team stats are just a bit behind that, I'm at 1986 sorties and 1079 wins. I'm not so good at getting MVP though with only 335. It often seems like when I do the best on my team we're more likely to lose 
. My best mission is still only 99k.
One odd thing I was wondering was this: has anyone ever had a mission where they got no "performance evaluation" awards? I often barely pay attention to them, but I think I'd notice if it was empty on the first result screen. I've had only one award a couple of times, but I'm pretty sure I've never had zero. I've only ever got "Andante" once, pretty sure that was with an Su-25TM. I remember getting "Speedster" in that plane too, somehow.
I have also noticed that when I get a couple rockets to fly straight, they do hit things far beyond the range the targeting circle turns red. Takes them a while to get there though, but it's fun shooting at choppers from 5 miles away when they are bunched together.
I've almost never encountered any Flying Aces planes in this event at least on my team, surprisingly. I'd love to get the BF-109 but no way I have enough fuel. Hopeful for the P-38 though, it would be nice to have one FA plane at least.

Wow that's really close stats.
I'm thinking I'll be getting the BF-109 Flying Aces even though I'll never use it, I'm currently top 100 in the standings.
Edit: Aaaand I'm back! You know it's really satsifying giving the nerds who have 2200-2300 MR a smackdown with my Spitfire, the prop planes were such a huge playing field leveller. Did you know that having a special emblem which changes missile smoke will change the trail colour on your ammunition in prop planes? Over the last few days I've rocketed (no pun intended from using rocket launchers on the Spitfire) to the 2100's in MR. I got to 2099 once a few months ago then had to do a bunch of challenges in crappy planes. Once this prop plane event is over I'll have more crappy plane challenges to complete.

I will say this... if you are not a 18xx match rating, I am going to kick you when I am hosting a room.

It's been wierd lately, every room I join with a 2100-2300 MR host is full of guys in the 1400-1600 range.
Edit: Looks like I fell just outside the top 300 in that event. No big deal, I didn't really care if I got the Flying Aces BF-109 anyway, I've invested too much in my Spitfire.
