Loved this one. Already had an NSX tuned, just had to adapt. 1st clean lap 1.28.x (no aids, line, etc just ABS1) and running a fever last night.

The trick is in the diff ;)

I'll go at it today. It's gonna be a lot of fun fine tuning it for such a complex track and trying to improve bit by bit. I'm not gonna touch other events anymore.

This one is killing me. I managed a silver. I may need to eat some pride & use one of these tunes...

I would definitely recommend it....I have been using one of the tunes for this event and am sitting on a 2:20 time (with SRF, TCS 1, ABS 1...TCS 1 for stability, without it the time is about 1/2 second slower)

Now I know why the leader is soooo fast. I forgot to enable "Anti Slidder" with my 2.18.xxx.
With Anti Slidder I could make a 2.13.506 in the first rounds.

By the way, it is sad, that PD enabled "Anti Slidder" => not as realistic it could be.

=> Don`t forget to enable... ;-)

I respect anyone that has gold all these seasonal races with just abs1 as the only driving aid. I refuse to use the other aids. This car was excellent once I learned how much I could push it while it was sideways in the corners. This was my favorite seasonal so far!!!!

Stock NSX Type R 02 No helps either...
Only 2" bigger rims and side skirts for eye candy...

time 2:32.477

Never liked Ascari but this was fun for some reason...

did a 2:23.3xx no SRF. Absolutely lovely combination.

I put a Wing on the car with max DF (20), its almost impossible to upset the car. Adding wing costs no PP, so extra grip is always welcome.

NSX type R '02 - what a car! it goes exactly where you want it to go.
first warm up lap without SRF, clean low 12:26.1s.

i like this track though feels like takes forever to complete a lap. i think i got quite a good setup, by fluke. if anyone interested ill write it.

well ok, this is the setup from a mid-fielder.lol

NSX type R 2002

front aero kit, rear wing, default wheels.

95/95
7.35/8.65
3/3
5/5
3/1
0.0/0.0
0.00/0.05
f7/r7 standard brakes

do tranny trick, then 1&2nd tallest, 6th shortest, rest in between but perhaps 5th to be a bit shorter to make 6th more effective since you only use 6th only once on this track, final 4.150.

lsd 5/20/20, triple plate clutch

no power modification

maximum rear downforce - 20, stage 1 weight reduction, ballast in middle 78kg to meet 470pp.

and, no oil change.

well, i thought this is a good setup but im stuck at high 2:21.3s with SRF so im not sure anymore.

edit: i did another 4 clean laps in a row, took a second off on each, now at high 2:18.4s. i think i like this track!
edit: oh bloody hell, "ranking registration failed"?? now my ps3 is froze... give my 6 minutes of my life back!
edit: after system restore, it looks like my time was registered, but all my tuning parts were gone! PD just ripped me off $60,000 worth of equipment... ...moderator, can i swear now?lol

Did a 2:31:421 with the Acura NSX, 299bhp & 1132kg.
ABS 1, heel-toe shifting, G27.
Fun car, fun track. Definitely a nice seasonal.

This track is quite new experience for me, as I've probably driven like 3 laps total on it before this seasonal (still like 40% through career mode), but it prove to be a quite fun combo with the NSX! So far I've managed to drive a whopping 3 clean laps, 2:23:xxx, 2:21:xxx and a 2:19:6xx, which I'm currently satisfied with.

Eventhough it is a fun combo, I'm not sure if I'll be putting a whole lot of my sort of limited time on this one, as the track is so long and it has about a million potential invalidation points when I'm trying to push the car. I like shorter tracks because I can see more improvement in them, in terms of time that is, shorter tracks - more laps - more potential improvement.

Also thanks to Hami for the great tune!

Loved this one, Ascari is fun & challenging at the same time.

Managed a 1:25.1xx which put me top of my friends list by .300 of a second.

NSX Type R
No aids
ABS 1
MT
D-pad, X & [ ] used

Most enjoyable.

The Scirocco TT is the tough one this week.

NSX Type R '02
470PP, 289hp, 1250kg
Paint: Lime Green Metallic

Tuned with G27 with Nixim Brake Pedal Mod and ABS 1

Tune built for the Acura NSX Super Lap Seasonal at Ascari - January 15, 2014

About the track, I am really liking the Ascari track. It seems to have most corners that you will see on other circuits. This is quickly becoming my favorite track to tune on. I will probably come back to this seasonal this weekend and make effort to drop my times further.

About the tune, I still do not think this tune is perfect. There is more speed there somewhere. In this seasonal I don't get the feel that the car is digging into the pavement. Rather, the car floats across the surface in a light drift. To be fast in this seasonal you are going to have to get accustomed to this drift and tune your car to be in a more controlled slide. If you want to change this drift balance to better fit your driving style, start with moving the ballast. Move to the front to get the front to slide more and move to the rear to get the rear to slide more. If this still isn't enough to fit your driving style, feel free to stop by the garage and ask question. I am always willing to ....

I can't get mine to 470pp according to your setup. It's 20pp too much?

249bhp is 470pp for me

EDIT ignore, I'm being stupid. Flat floor and aero kit increase PP.

Got a stock NSX Tyre R '02 to do 2:26:761 with only ABS 1 on using a wheel. Had a lot of fun getting a clean and tidy lap together, found a lot of my improvement in the 3rd sector. Great seasonal! :)

What a shame... The car is lovely, but there's far too much abuse of the kerbs and chicanes to make it enjoyable for me :(

Took my first crack at this last night starting at the bottom of the PP level for the stock NSX's that are available.

Interesting to note that when I selected the seasonal it told me the requirements had changed to CH tires. Ouch. I ran about twenty laps with a bone stock '90 and the best I could manage was 6 seconds off the bronze time. This was with the DFGT and all assists off, bumper cam and MT. Interestingly, after I left the event I went back and the tire restriction updated to CS. Strange. With CS I wound up posting a 2:42.516. Much better, as the CHs were brutal. It was like driving on ice.

I'm going to move up the PP list of available NSX's keeping them completely stock and see if I can get gold. Doubtful, but I'm going to keep plugging away at this one. It's one of my favorite cars at a very challenging track. So why not? :)

Very fun track & car. :)
Used Motor City Hami's great tune for NSX Type R '02. 👍 👍 👍
0 driving aids/0 ABS/manual clutch & trans (Heel-toed with T500/TH8 RS).

Lap 1: 2:31:150
Lap 2: Blew downshift  (my fault, not GT6's "broken" clutch).
Lap 3: 2:30:058

Might go back for more, but non-alien me, doesn't spend a whole lot of time on Seasonal TTs...
...unless chasing or running from someone on FR LB who uses same parameters for event. :sly:
----------------------------
UPDATE:
Now in FR chase mode @ 2:25:383 with clutch/manual trans on TH8 RS/0 Aids/0 ABS.
Nothing like a little motivation to speed up. :D MCH's tune, the gift that keeps on giving!

Physics for event seem a little too forgiving, had to verify that SRF/TC were really off.

I managed to do a 2.26.xx or somewhere in that amount of time with DS3, with a NSX Type R '02 with a racing hard susp, fully trans, fully LSD, some engine power twiks but still 15 sec behind NO.1 :S I guess some guys are just hardcore maniacs with no social life. (Funny thing he's a japanes and driving a japanese car; just like in toyota FT-1 event) :P

Many of maniacs ;), for now i passed only few hours for 2 seasonals (never did that before), for the s2000 & lancia. Finished quite well (137 & 231 worldwide) with a ds3. So in my opinion everyone can go faster and faster if they try for hours...

Struggling with this.. STILL haven't set a clean lap, so no actual time! I really don't know Ascari, and the CS tyres.. oh man. NSX is a car I do enjoy driving though.

Time to apply some tunes to the situation.
