ALMS Season V

You did 1:21's in the race, having to use your tires for more than one lap. I did 1:22.2 in qualifying going all out. I should have been in the 21s because I was trying my hardest to get lower than a 22. I was on the pace to do it, but messed up in the final sector. Spa isn't on the track list for the season, so it has no bearing. Your car has 20hp more than the Bentley. You're faster on the straights. I'm better in turns. I don't think any car needs to be redone. I pushed the envelope on my race strategy. I tried to save tires to do 4 stops. You did 5. There were a couple times I got caught up in traffic that made me lose time in the final laps. I could have done 5 stops like you did but I chose not to. Your car has too much power for me to pass on the straights. Plus you kept swerving back and forth so I wouldn't catch your draft (which I think is cheating and I never did).

And if you are so sure of your car, I can drive the same car and show you the difference!!

I don't know what you're talking about surprise you. You chose your car not mine. Drive it.
Keep it to PMs please.
Well this is my complaint. Your steward said to place your complaints and that is my complaint. Anthony was swerving, doing more that just one move. Then you decide to give my car extra weight, but based on what? My 2nd place finishes? I'm asking you because I want to know.

Alright, so I've asked help from another driver, and this is what they got with the cars:

Indy Times:

Evora 1:30.9 (A bit more in tuning though) Top speed 180-181mph
Viper 1:31.1 (Pretty perfect lap) Top speed 177-178mph
Vette 1:31.8 (Bit slow, tried my best but seems to lack alot in bends. Maybeneeds a slight weight reduction) Top speed 178-179mph

Thanks to the person who did these tests!

Glad to see someone jumping into the Ford. It can be scary fast. As proven by Yera last season. I think it came down to the last race and it was between the Ford and the Vette. Needless to say, the Vette was able to bring home the hardware.

I was lapped at indy. Lighters cars with more power on medium tires. Yeah something needs to happen. I was getting 8-9 laps on my tires and fh was getting 11-13 laps on his tires. Think me and ghs was on the same pit sequence. Lowest times I was getting was 1.32.0.

Any times from Madrid yet? I don't really need to practice Spa. It's definitely a track I'm familiar with. I think 2:05's for LMP there should be about right. Maybe 2:20's or less for GT.

So the Lotus is 480 bhp and 1300 kg yeah? Cool... I'm going with 465 bhp and 1300 kg.
Seth, 2:05's and 2:20's yeah? You're a minute off the pace, mate. 👍

That would make sense.... I was intially thinking Madrid since in my experience, 1:05's and 1:20's sound about right, I guess. Sorry Seth. It's been a tiring day.

I'll explain, James.

The BMW is hard on it's tyres at the specs it has. I was running 550 bhp and 1350 kg, while Mel was running the specs above last season. It's monstrously quick, but apparently it isn't very good around corners. I found a tune that was working mid-season, but I wasn't quite good enough to challenge Yera and Kevin.

Ok thanks for that.

IRL, they M3's that race have modifications to them that the M3GTR features. So its the closest to the real life racing car there is (unless we get the race car in game).

If someone wants to spec it, be my guest.
I'd been meaning to before my TV went bust. Start out at 1300 kg and 470 hp. Work on Nurb GP/F and try to get similar lap times to the rest of the field by tuning and adjusting hp.
