I love your reactions to these things. I just have one question; Stormy, why did you mention Mosport during the Lime Rock race?
I'm not sure what your talking about. They just raced at Mosport earlier today. Lime Rock was 2 weeks ago.

You BOTH need to show up! I say everyone gets a separate car in LMP. They're all close as hell. A Bentley, Audi, Toyota, Pescarolo Judd, Pescarolo Courage C60, Peugeot C60, Peugeot 908's and BMW equals out to be 9 cars.

Well, maybe it's the best pic he can find of them. The #45 Flying Lizard Porsche did win at Lime Rock Park 2 weeks ago after such an abysmal start to the season. They did win at Mosport as well, but unfortunately, they were disqualified for failing the post race engine stall test at Mosport this past Sunday, moving the #01 ESM Ferrari up front, with the #3 Vette behind them, and the #56 BMW taking third.
The Flying Lizard team has filed an Official Protest on the matter, but no further information is available.
I wouldn't say your an idiot, just ill-informed, or something.

Driver list updated. For those unsure, remember that whatever car you show up to in the first points race is your car for the season. I think it would be fair that you CAN switch in season, but that you have to forfeit all the points up until that race where you switch, to be fair to the championship. Or if you show up for ONE race in a different car, that race doesn't gain you any points regardless of where you place.

Thanks, gatrs. FWIW I cheer on the Lizards, even when they're getting conspiratorily disqualified. Even if there was an advantage, it wasn't enough to give them an advantage. Corvette owned this track in qualy and were set up to win. You could see Jan just biting at the Porsche's rear engine trying to find a way around, but the great driving in the corners is what brought them to victory, not a leaky air intake.

They're not actual driver changes, just simulated. All you do is on at least one of your pit stops, when your car pulls into the stall, you pause the game for about how long it takes to do a driver change. That's the basic idea. Just to preserve the tradition in the ALMS of mandatory driver changes. It would also give us, the drivers, a small breather in the races.

Yeah, im sure everyone is good about the honor system but are the race stewards going to check the replay of every single pit stop? Fun idea, i just dont know if it would work well. But im not driving, so just my 2 cents.

These races aren't even long enough for that IMO. With the competition I doubt people would honor this. Might tend to forget. I'm not for the simulated driver change.

I think the simulated driver change wouldn't work. Either people would forget or ignore it, which would lead to a lot of angry people and some outed competitors. Not a good combination.

So you guys are doing Indy tomorrow? Ill be the pace car again, since i suck at this game now. Hope more people start to show up, this is such a great series to run in and the drivers are all clean.
