There's some more on my Flickr album. Really large turnout especially if you happen to be a fan of Skylines.

Nice pics, but after a few, they belong in a car thread..... Beautiful cars, though!

Edit: The Merc with the shark mouth! HAHA!! Awesome idea!

Indeed. Does every page of this thread get bogged down by someone posting way too many car pics in the same post?

It would be courteous to pick the best one or two and a link to the rest.

He used a spoiler so there's nothing to fret about, at least someone read the rant and I thank them for that.

Anyways, I was given the opportunity to go fly with one of my dads coworkers and I have to say it was the best day of my life. I've always wanted to be a pilot but the cost of it vs. starting pay I just couldn't reason with it. I fly a lot as in from city to city with an airline, but I've never been in a civi plane. It was a Cessna 152 (G or S) and I figured it was made in the late 70's with the interior but come to find out it was made in 1964, so it was a good thing he told us that while in the air because I would of had my doubts about going.

Anyways, here they are:

I was so happy I really wasn't trying to get that good of pictures because I wanted to fly more than shoot, but when I got back home I was sorta upset that's all I got that turned up good.

In the end, my sister flew more than I did too...

First time trying black and white in a long time. Figured the black volcanic rock against the reflected sunlight on the water was a good chance for some heavy contrast.

Debating if I should brighten up the water... it's not quite white.
Nah, don't brighten the water anymore (that's just me, I'm not a pro in B&W) but in the second picture maybe lessen the shadows. There are two dark spots left and right of the puddle that I would get out or brighten up.

EDIT:
2-6-15 - Tomorrow (well, in only 7 more hours) I'll be going back into the air with the same man and plane. I should've posted this earlier but anything different that I could improve on from those earlier? I won't be over the lake this time but rather my local airport..

I understand that you guys hate these so I'll keep this short. Here's the best artistic photos I took today. These are all taken with my Dad's new 50mm lens. They're probably the best photos I've ever taken.

The rest of the photos can be found here (Flickr).

My girlfriend and I recently took some time out to relax at the beautiful Links Lady Bay Resort at Normanville, South Australia. I took a few happy snaps and had my first red-hot go at some panorama shots. Since my D3100 doesn't have a dedicated panorama mode I did it the old fashioned way and used Microsoft's Image Composite Editor to stitch them all up.

We also went to Granite Island off of Victor Harbour to see these cute little buggers:

And then detoured to Rapid Bay on the way home for some scenery:

Some more pictures are on my Flickr.

Went from Atlanta to Pittsburgh and back last weekend... If anyone was watching the weather you would've seen the northeast is still getting some snow, so those pictures didn't turn out too good...
