In case you missed it, here’s the story on Gordon Sondland, another self-serving a**hole

Bribed his way into the ambassadorship, now read on…

Best quote from the article:-

“Sondland writes that he’ll “never forgive” Trump for what happened on Jan. 6 of last year, while not ruling out supporting him in 2024. Would he do the job of ambassador again? “In a heartbeat,” Sondland says.”

Best reader comment is from Bob22003

Mr. Sondland, if it makes you feel any better, you're not a doofus. You're a corrupt, crass opportunist who bought a position for which you were not qualified. You lack the education, experience, insight, and moral compass to make even the least contribution to US foreign policy. In fact, you participated in an unethical, illegal scheme to shake down, at the behest of a corrupt president, a vulnerable foreign leader whose nation is now, partly because of your actions, suffering from an attack by a hostile foreign power. Oh, and you're a gutless coward as well. "Doofus" is several levels above you.

What's their legal definition of a dildo?
Answered in 43.21:
(7) "Obscene device" means a device including a dildo or artificial vagina, designed or marketed as useful primarily for the stimulation of human genital organs.
And 43.23 states:
(a) A person commits an offense if, knowing its content and character, he wholesale promotes or possesses with intent to wholesale promote any obscene material or obscene device.
(b) Except as provided by Subsection (h), an offense under Subsection (a) is a state jail felony.
...
(f) A person who possesses six or more obscene devices or identical or similar obscene articles is presumed to possess them with intent to promote the same.
So owning six or more different sex toys is a felony (possession with the intent to promote obscenity) for which you can be imprisoned. I assume that owning six or more different firearms isn't a felony. It may well be mandatory.

I've heard that the pen is mightier than the sword, but it seems the (artificial) penis mightier than the gun.

They're gonna have a huge fight on their hands when this is over. It's like they're out in the middle of the ocean with a canoe but no paddle.

Top tip: Do not soap up the bottom of your feet without washing it off immediately after.
Also, if you don't bring a light bulb into the shower with you, you can't fall on it.

Such an informative, enlightening and worrying post, all-in-one.

Yeah, one time last year my uncle forgot to wash the soap off his right foot and he slipped and fell and hit his head on the cabinet. Had to go to the ER and get stitches cause he cut his head(the side of it). Scary stuff, I was there.

Did your urgent care have a box of stuff from those unfortunate events? Or collection of X-Rays?
That stuff went into the biohazard bag and then they tried to get me to take it somewhere, but since I was IT I could get out of it.

One of the docs did have a collection of x-rays of the objects though.

Nevada newspaper is looking for a Republican to endorse. But there's a catch. The person chosen must be "willing to stand up for democracy".

"Of the five leading Republican candidates for the governorship of Nevada, every one of them has gone on record as both supporting and contributing to the Big Lie. In doing so, they have all made a choice to subvert our democracy, undermine the integrity of our elections, and ignore the Constitution of the United States."

They're not going to find any, or if they do, it will be Jeb Bush/Adam Kinzinger/Liz Cheney type candidates who are instantly branded as "RINOs" by the party base. For today's Republican party, democracy is merely a slowly-eroding obstacle to their reactionary policy agenda as opposed to a necessary political framework that guarantees representation and fairness.

"So please, if you are such a Republican and are running for office, stand proud and reach out to us. We want to present a list of heroes trying to rescue their party from the madness afflicting it. We want to share your perspective with our readers and let them know that Republican candidates for office still exist who believe in the Constitution, who believe in democracy, and who believe that the peaceful transition of power among our duly elected officials is a hallmark of what not only has made America great in the past, but what can help us continue to be a great country moving forward."

You're going to have a long wait, Las Vegas Sun editorial board. Or, just hear me out, think about endorsing a Democrat who actually stands for the values you can no longer find in the GOP.

So, based on this definition, you are allowed to take more than 6 flutes to band camp 🤔

Thoght I'd check out the replies on Twitter. Today I learned that the popular vote is a tool of tyranny over freedom.

So the electoral college is bad and the popular vote is bad. Should we just have a thumb war? How about rock-paper-scissors?
It is traditionally thought that the enlightened tyrant is the best form of government, but the drawback is the successor is too often not so good. For example, Edward I may have been the best king England ever had, but his son Edward II was the worst. In recent years the primitive anarchy movement in the US was celebrated by some political philosophers as the ultimate social system, but the Unabomber and his manifesto threw shade on that idea. So yes, constitutional representative democracy as practiced in the US is the worst system of government - except for all the others.

Oh dear Lord, this has to be THE most embarrassing Freudian slip of all time, from the master himself...

Lol, I will never forget that day where the man threw that shoe at Bush, he ducked. Man, if he didn't he would have been knocked out cold hard!!
