It's a very, very complicated situation.

It's called preventative maintenance. Do you deal with the rust on your car when it's a small patch or wait till you have to rebuild the entire frame and body.

I like that you're comparing killing however many people — either directly in the case of "dealing with" North Korea, or indirectly in the case of the repercussions — with basic car maintenance.

I don't think there is anything trivial about eighteen million innocent people being a stone's throw from an unstable despot with a nuclear arsenal. You might think a swift response is necessary; you might think military action is justified; you might think that intervention will bring about a universal good; but so long as Kim can't hurt you, somebody else will pay the price if you step in.

When eighteen million people are in the firing line, do you really think the best person to (potentially) decide their fate is a man with a mercurial temperament, a history of Twitter tantrums and a reputation for aggressive dog-eat-dog capitalism and no regard for the people standing in his way? Trump has made no attempt at engaging with China or North Korea, no attempt at resolving the situation through diplomacy. All he has done is jack up the rhetoric and throw a few cruise missiles around.

Within that post you refer to everyone who has questioned @ryzno as "European leftists" (despite at least one being a Canadian), an epithet that suggests you believe all Europeans are leftists. The question that emerges from that is:

Do you believe that all Europeans are leftists?

Of course you have since edited it from "Eurowieny marshmallows" in order to satisfy the conditions of your membership not to behave abusively, but claim it's to "satisfy the leftists mods", which begs the question:

No. There seems to be a healthy rise of conservative parties in many European countries. Brexit happened.
