I think these mail bombs are fake. Look at the x-rays. What the hell is a coiled wire going to do?

The only battery I see is the button battery in the clock. These are only like three volts max and could not ignite anything.

Just a big hoax.

The difference being Antifa is everywhere with a presence in every 1st world country basically, with colleges/universities being a factory for members, they counter protest any protest right of a communist, outnumber them then beat them up, the US government even classes them as Domestic terrorists, they are well organized and all mask up, it's a problem for the left when they refuse to call them out for this.

Strange, where I work it's full of middle of the road liberals, very few leftists and certainly nobody who can be arsed to get violent. The many people I meet from other universities are the same. The leftist-est people got was striking over their pensions, a few placards, a sit-in and a round of damp bacon sandwiches. If that's antifa then the movement's ****ed.

When were you last in a university, as a matter of interest?

Guess it doesn't happen then, due to your personal experience and all.

But seriously you don't have to look hard at where the protesters in alot of antifa rallies are from, that's not to say all or most universities are like this, but it is where they get most of their members from.

When were you last in a university, as a matter of interest?
Maybe 2 years ago, but it wasn't for study(for work), but why does that matter?

You know I can't say that, I'm just surprised that I've never come across it in lecturers, students or other staff. Most are even surprisingly anti-Corbyn.

I was simply interested in why you thought it was the case that universitys/colleges were "a factory for [antifa] members". A factory is an establishment whose purpose is to produce a given item. I just don't recognise that as true in the UK. I think you'd be better looking at off-campus social groups to find such a thing in the average university-goer's age range.

Why is Trump pulling us out of the Nuke treaty with Russia?

Trump has seemingly made it a mission to pull out internationally treaties signed by predecessors. He pulled at Paris climate agreement, really really wants to pull out NATO, threatened to pull out WTO, Iran nuclear deal, Trans-pacific deal etc.

My conspiracy theory:
I have a suspicion this is what they spoke about behiund closed doors. To pull out the treaty, so they both can start building them again.

In other news:

I'm curious to know, since you're so up to date on American politics, what do you think was the motive for renegotiating the NAFTA agreement with Mexico and Canada when it seems, on the surface, that little has changed? Was there something in the agreement that we heard little about from the MSM?

Add both Cory Booker and James Clapper to the suspicious package list:

No idea, didnt delve in that particular part of news. But how is that relative to my post? I was just pointin out that pulling out of agreements is something he and his following consider a powermove. Thats why he is pulling out of this nuclear pact with Russia. On the surface to his following, it seems he is being strong against russia, but it does give both the USA and russia free reign to build arms without the restrictions made in the pact if there are no renegotiations. It could potentially cause another armsrace?

It is obvious though that arms manufacturers will benefit greatly if no negotiations take place.

especially from Snopes of all places (which does have a history of left-leaning bias)

What doesn't?

Trump spent a pretty big chunk of his campaign braying about NAFTA being bad (while almost certainly having no real clue himself about the details and why one should or shouldn't support it), and once he found himself elected, it became a two-for-one; he could uphold a campaign promise to get rid of it, and also be able to claim it's near-identical replacement as his own accomplishment.

I agree.

My opinion is powerful lefties or the DNC is trying to cast the Democratic party as victimized running up to Nov. 7 .

That opinion may change as more evidence regarding the actual device is released (if the FBI actually releases any) but for now this all just smells like fish.

Federal authorities in Florida have made an arrest in connection to the mail bombs.

How are the details of the rewritten agreements relevant to your claim that they are nothing more than a power move? So what you're saying is you know what the motivations are for the agreements you don't know anything about them.

News conference @2:30est.

They're calling them "Mickey Mouse bombs" intended to create fear, not damage.

I was mentioning the agreements he threatened to pull out or pulled out. He didnt pull out NAFTA (eventually), so I didnt list that. That what I meant with relevance. The contents of agreements does not change the pattern of pulling out of agreements is what I was posting about.

NAFTA was hours away from being kaput. It went right down to the wire. So that means it's not part of Trump's trade master plan and we can't talk about it alongside the other agreements?

Suspect named and under arrest.

You can if you want, but that wasnt the subject i was posting about. I was adressing the fact pulling out of agreements of predeseccors is a move he likes to make.

But seriously, sounds like an alt-right talking point (fake news). Given that somewhere between 65% & 70% of American high school graduates attend university or college, it's not surprising that a lot of young Antifa activists fall into this category. An important starting point of all this can be found in the skinhead movement with rival gangs taking neo-nazi & anti-racist positions. Not sure how many of them were attending university ...

Clearly a cunning terrorist mastermind at work.

NAFTA is an agreement made by a predecessor he was threatening to pull out of.

Mr bomber is also it would seem to be, a registered gop supporter

Cesar Altieri Sayoc, arrested in the bombs sent to prominent Democrats and critics of President Donald Trump, is a registered Republican, records show. His van appeared to be covered with pro-Trump and GOP stickers (link: http://bit.ly/2Sm2QQo) bit.ly/2Sm2QQo #breaking

1 single Gop rightwing extremist, doesnt mean all Gop are extremist. Just like Antifa do not represent the democratic party. Extremists are bad either way. But Trump does have a history of encouraging violence and demonizing democrats in his speeches and tweets.

1 crazy person is all it takes to believe that nonsense or take his words as literal like this guy:

OK. And?

But eventually didnt. I was just saying that to my particular post the contents of Nafta isnt relevant. The threatening to pull out, to show his dominance, is.

Keyword there is crazy. Can I put up some videos of Democrats calling for violence and connect them to people who commit violence as well? Or is that "different"?

Top Youth Soccer Recruits for Trump? Now there's an endorsement if I've ever heard of one. Guess they're probably at odds with the Little League T-Ballers for Obama.
