Not justifying, but an observation here. Out-of-line cop shoves old man down, another officer sees him & moves toward to help. Only then does out-of-line cop help the situation he caused. Helper cop seems like the person needed on the other side of the police line with the protesters.
Absolutely. I saw another vid from last night which showed a cop moving his colleague's knee from the head of a guy they were arresting. Plenty of good cops out there.

Antifa is an ironic org. that has used fascist tactics to silence others. However, as @Northstar said, there doesn't seem to be any reports Antifa is actually behind any current rioting. The closest I've seen is a report in Oregon where they're heavily located, but the same report is backed by Andy Ngo. Ngo, unfortunately for your source, has a questionable, biased history.

The only reason people are saying it's Antifa is b/c they see a bunch of white kids in all black (such as how Antifa usually dresses) & assume as such.

The reality is, it doesn't matter. The protesters do not care if it's Antifa or White Supremacists, they want it to stop as much as anyone else. I would like to link a video showcasing as such, but the Subreddit has profanity that gets through the filter here & is on full display, so to avoid an AUP violation, I'll just say it's a bunch of protesters defending the entrance to a Target. It's on the subreddit next****inglevel.

Antifa is out there... not saying they are the mastermind behind all the looting and rioting, but they play a role.

Video is graphic, warning

It's pretty standard black bloc attire. If you want to perpetrate acts of violence and destruction, either as an individual or as a part of a mob, that's how you dress. It's unfortunate that that's also how some people dress anyway, without malicious intent.

Edit:

This is awesome. I'm loving the locked arms.

“We saw four shootings in the Loop last night from 7 to 11 p.m.,” Lightfoot said. “Six people were shot. One person killed.”

Brown said more than 20 CPD officers were hospitalized, and at least two required surgery.

“Let me be clear,” he said. “Last night was not a protest. People who came downtown were not there to exercise their first amendment right. These people arrived in the central business district prepared to damage and steal. Who brings a hammer to a protest? Nobody.”

He said 240 people were arrested as a result of the protests and looting.

Lightfoot said there was organized looting with some people showing up with vans and bringing goods out of stores into the vans.

Ald. Brendan Reilly (42nd) said there was a pattern to the types of stores that were looted.

“Nearly every branch bank was broken into,” he said. “Nearly every ATM was removed, cracked open and strewn in the streets. Pharmacies were specifically targeted.”

One woman who came out of the Nike store with numerous shirts in her arms said she was from East Side. She refused to give her name but said, “This is what happens when you kill someone for no reason. We gonna take what we want.”

I'm gonna bet it's also widely misleading. That same channel shares a video titled, "Antifa Child Pepper Sprayed".

How goddamn ****ing sick in the head does that channel have to be to mislead like that so people can go, "L0L, get pwned Antifa" towards a child. Antifa or not, a child doesn't deserve that. Their parents are crazy for bringing them into that situation, but to use her as political bait is ****ing disgusting.

Yep what?

He has a well document track record of making up stories, heavily editing footage and working directly with the far right!

He about as far from an un-biased source on the subject as its possible to get, that you think he credible says quite a bit.

What is biased about what he said in the video, or in him identifying the guys that knocked that guys teeth out? Looks like facts to me.

I was responding to your claim that he's the most knowledgable journalist in regard to ANTIFA, as for his video, I've seen enough of his past nonsense to waste my time watching it, but by all means, ignore his past lies and clear links to the far-right.

Ah, well I didn’t look through the channel at other videos published by them, just found it. But I don’t think the certain videos I linked are necessarily misleading, no? After all, both of them claim to be in Portland, Oregon.

I agree, people who use children as political bait is indeed wrong.

Yeah, I heard he was a white supremacist.

Is it to early to say that the president declaring ANTIFA a terrorist organization (once again, borderline dictator-type 🤬) and similar acts will become the new Red Scare?
In apartheid South Africa the freedom fighters were also terrorists in the eyes of the state.

It's a reflection of the mindset of government.

How exactly did that pill taste?

He was filmed taking part in the planning on a bar with a far-right group, he didn't film them himself, he did nothing to try and stop or warn anyone it was about to happen, and he then (along with the far-right group) released edited footage to try and make it look like they acted in self-defence!

Let also not forget his fantasy story about the public drinking ban in Whitechapel, London being because of 'Muslims', when in fact it had nothing at all to do with that.

This is well known and just one example of his close ties to the far-right, however, you seem to see him as 'one of the good guys' as Trump would describe them.

It looks like a normal Antifa protest which are always more, "Anti-America/Patriotism" than civil rights, and are pretty aggressive/destructive to get their message across (hence the irony they sometimes exude). They're really more anarchists than protesters if anything, but they like to latch onto current events to use as reasons to do what they do. That's why a lot of current protesters don't want them around, b/c the goals aren't the same.

But, the crowd looks vastly different compared to the crowds being seen for George Floyd, which is where I'm hesitant to believe there's any connection.

So maybe it is just a coincidence that antifa holds their occasional riot at the same time as the Floyd protests, idk... But also in those two clips from earlier I can see a crowd in the background and a few people holding up signs..

Fascists fighting fascists who purportedly fight fascism. That'll bake your noodle.

They may not have started the riots but they've more than likely amplified them. Their justification for another one of their Kristallnacht re-enactments is at least more agreeable this time than why they normally do this.

It's not, but you'll notice how they're not with the Floyd protesters, they're on their own. They like confrontation with "Fascists/Americuh" peeps, which is not what they're gonna find at the Floyd protests. I don't think they want to risk pissing off that group either.

They always have signs as well, but I can't see what's on them.

An InfoWars watermark is an instant asterisk.
Yeah, that entire Twitter account is "Violent Left!"

Zero need to assign some political blame there. The act of burning a homeless man's possessions is heinous & sad enough.
