Lucky You as You must be having a collection of the 15th Anniversary cars, which are very capable of securing Golds.

I've just got the LMS, Viper & the Stingray.

Don't know if the Stingray would be a goodshot but the Viper, inspite of having good power, is highly unstable. The LMS car is better but lacks power.
I know, just felt like sharing that for others that have the same cars as myself 👍

If You'd do that then I would add You today later or You could add me before as am at work. My PSN nickname is mentioned under my avatar.

Just want to achieve Gold in order to get the 200% bonus payout in order to raise my bank balance which is at 13 Million as of now. I'm still at IB race events.

Really close to gold uday!
You'll find those few tens.

I had no problem with the brakes. Just don't touch any curbs etc. while braking. Set your brakepoint and hold your car straight.
First brake, then steer. Not together.

But you could try to put the braking balance more to the front end and/or use more ABS.

Another thing you could do uday is set up an online room same car specs on spa and invite people round for a practice session, you may learn different lines etc especially if you are all in the same car.

edit; feel free to add hooliohall

Good idea.

My ID is: Reynai

You could add me and have a look at my repitition of the fastest lap, which still contains a few mistakes.
Also you could use my ghost to improve.

By adding someone to your PSN friendship list the best lap can be shown.
I have a line on the ground of the racetrack with the name of my friends.

Thanks a ton! Received your Friend request.

Now it'll be more fun with comparing times & assisting each other. Have to admit though that You may be assisting me more than me assisting You.

just done a 2:08.5 in the Huayra, about 7000th overall, using auto gears and ds3, sure i could still go a little quicker, chuffed with that

Is there any one who could be gracious enough to share a faster or should I say a more stable car than the Viper so that I could Gold the event?

If yes, kindly instruct as to how I can use the shared car as I was aware of this in GT5 but since GT6 is quite different, don't have a clue.:nervous:

Have you tried the Honda? It is a sweet ride....

Wow it was a bit difficult with the R18 for me but then I switched to the HSV and use it stock with an oil change, drop the top speed to about 211, adjusted the gears to my liking and gold it in the third lap using a DS3....

Managed to get 2:13.188 with Viper. Full upgrade 94% power. All other settings default. Aids: TC=2 ABS=1, SRF=On.
possible to shave 0.5-1 second of that time, will try on weekend. Very important is corner exits, good trajectory on exit and good timing to hit the gas cause main plus of viper is power on straight line.
using ds3.

I only have the five cars that came with the PSN preorder. The viper is the easiest car to do it in the only part that screwed me out of golding it in the first lap way breaking to late for the 2nd last turn befor the finish line. Did it with ease on the second lap. The corvette was a little harder as its was a little slower on straights and a little harder to keep straight through some turns but was able to do it pretty easy. The Viper was the easiest car for all the seasonals. I have now problem with the handling and I dont tune just used the hard setting. brakes at 4/2 and a little tcs and it sticks fast I think, and the straight line power is awsome. The vette I feel the same about just a little slower like I said and it was a little touchier on the two hard right turns mid track. I use the DS3. I keep trying the audi and gt-r but can't get enough speed out of them and I hate the handling of the Audi it slides all over for me and both cars im about 2:18's in, so don't think I can get anything more out of them. I suggest if you only have the 5 cars I do, keep using the Viper its very capable of doing this and you will eventually see that its very quick through the turns and crazy fast on the straights. JMO. Oh also I have it set a 1000 hp and added some weight and lowered the restrictor to meet the 631. It was faster with all the upgrades installed and lowering the restrictor than it was by uninstalling upgrades and raising the restrictor.

Does reducing the Power (in your case 94%) make it of any advantage?

Trying hard with the Viper but have reached close to setting a Gold (1:15:305).

No, it doesn't. It's only needed to meet 631 pp restriction requirement. 1:15.305 is goof time, my thought is your probably losing time on one of the sectors, i was losing time at "Eau Rouge" at first. You must accelerate aggressively at exit, very easy to loose control here. Turns 10-11 are very important too.

I'm sure I lose time always while entering Bus stop to make the last chicane.

Eau Rouge it's important to get a good entry for a better exit.

I don't have all of the 15th Anniversary cars. Just the Viper, LMS & Stingray.
Give this a try I got gold at 600pp

Thanks for the info.

Wouldn't a setting of 7/7 for brakes be better than 4/4 in general or a lower value is better?

I find bb more a personal setting 7/3 suited me,I tried an equal balance setting eg 5/5 and found it unstable on braking,I generally use a lower setting when using lesser tyres

I have a line on the ground of the racetrack with the name of my friends.

Finally set a Gold time of 2:14:885.

The difference came when I was more aggressive towards the left hander leading to the Bus stop chicane. I used more of the kerbs even of the chicane.

It was a harrowing challenge. Love the track.

Ditto ^^
Using high level setting for the rear brakes caused them to lock up easily making the Viper very unstable.
My personal setting = 6/3
