After calling I and being told it shipped yesterday, I got a UPS tracking number that said the number was generated today. I am a little confused why I got the run around but at least I got a tracking number.

There ya go slice. Good things worked out for you. Also to all. I can feel safe to say again that the orders will ALL be filled by next week since most are finally receiving their tracking numbers. Don't castrate me though if for some reason I am wrong lol. I am just trying to help.

At the same time though Static, it was promised to those customers who are PCA members that their shipments would be prioritized, and they are following through with that promise, so I'd say that should be a + not a - because at least they are still doing what they said they would.

I am happy for you, seriously.

Luckily I have a T500 to keep me sated. I know everyone can't get it first, so you go with the original prioritization based on promises. But frankly, I was never a fan of the PCA member thing being a factor...and now it feels even more like "f--- the rest of you even though you are a paying customer". Discounts for PCAs, fine. Free 2-day shipping for PCAs, fine. But "we'll get yours out the door first before someone else"...fu.

Yeah I could see that lol. I really hope that they decide to do something for their longsuffering customers, but I doubt it's going to happen at this point. Here's to hoping that the wait for the clubsport shifter+handbrake isn't so long!
The T500 looks really good, but I needed the xbox compatibility, so here I am...

I stand corrected my order # is 173xx but I still have no effing tracking number!!!

I hope they have a better handle on things when the CSR is released but I HIGHLY doubt it.

There is a Thomas pricing quote here:
http://www.fanatecwheel.com/news/official-forza-fanatec-wheels-introduced

Thomas' words on pricing:

We will keep our fully modular ordering system so the pricing depends on the options you take. It will range between 320 and 700 for a set with pedals.

I am assuming from this that the CSR without pedals is $320 (compared to the GT2 at $249)

That quote of his says with pedals, so for $320 it likely comes w/ the basic pedals.

No I doubt it, I think the "with pedals" part is for the CSR Elite with pedals for $700, the $320 is likely for the CSR wheel without pedals.

Right now the GT2 prices are:

GT2 $250
Clubsport Pedals $200
GT2 + Clubsport Pedals = $450

So I think taking that into account with Thomas' price quote it makes sense something along the following lines:

CSR ($320?)
Clubsport Pedals $200
CSR + Clubsport Pedals = $520?

CSR Elite ($500?)
Clubsport Pedals $200
CSR Elite + Clubsport Pedals = $700?

Of course the wheel+pedal combo may be cheaper depending on the cost of the CSR pedals which may end up being cheaper than the Clubsport since they only use a load sensor on the brake instead of all 3 pedals.

But I think there is very little chance that Fanatec would put out a new improved CSR wheel+pedal combo for a total $320 completely outpricing their current $450 GT2+Clubsport combo which was only released 6 months ago and sold out their entire first production run and has been on back order for 4+ months... especially when there is *no* other decent competition for wheels that support all 3 platforms right now, and the Madcatz one just announced will be $230, and the T500RS with only PC+PS3 support is $599.

This is only a guess using logic, and comparing it to the other market competition (sure would be nice to have official prices), but who knows maybe you are right and Thomas will be the great Santa Claus of FM4 and will be bringing all of us some surprising $320 CSR wheel+pedal combo, I would welcome it but I'm sure the GT2 customers who have been waiting 5 months for their backordered GT2 would scream bloody murder though, understandably :-)

Those expecting a CSR+Pedals combo for $320 are setting themselves up for disappointment IMHO, but I wouldn't mind being wrong :-)

Your math adds up, but don't forget the new CSR pedals, which you can think of as ClubSport Lite. No brake vibration, some metal components replaced with stamped steel and plastic parts, and potentiometers rather than hall effect sensors for throttle and clutch. Those could be closer to $100. Fanatec may also consider the $50 plastic standard pedals as an entry level option, which could mean a CSR Pure Wheel could be about $170.

Yeah good point, I missed the OP mentioning the possibility of the "standard pedals" (I guess those are so entry level that they never entered my mind).

Nothing to do for now but keep our ears out for official info I guess.

Fanatec + potentiometers....shivers. They always malfunction after a few months when the pots come lose. I hope they change the production and assembly in the new pedals.

It looks like they have, in the CSR pedals, though the proof is in the pudding.
