Delivery couldnt of happened on a worst week for people with UK orders.

Bank Holiday in the UK on Monday you see so that adds at least an extra day to delivery times and maybe 2 because of possible backlogs.

What i find weird is the first emails went out on Wednesday stating shipping and yet ive not seen a forum/owner anywhere showing one yet.

Its obvious some are itching to post theirs on the net when they arrive.
Please link if anyone knows of somewhere thats got images.

Also I am very happy.
Today I received email from Fanatec that they will send it out, and I could get it up to one week.

YAY!

Well wasn't that the story 3 days ago as well? 💡 I live in California and still have yet to receive my wheel, even though Fanatec said some of the customers would receive their wheels as early as Thursday  I'll keep my fingers crossed that it shows up today...but that's being a bit optimistic considering how flaky Fanatec has been with everything else.

I think When I first pay for my Order in full, it was in January, and Fanatec wanted to have wheels sent out for everyone by March was it? now its late MAY haha

About few more days to go, we in the USA have a holiday on Monday as well, so bit of delay here as well, But only few more days to go! wohoo!

Lets hope this wheel works with GT5 out of the box, if not im going to be gutted.

Did the last PS3 update fix the problem that happened a while back with the 911 Turbo S wheel. I remember reading one time a PSN update stopped that wheel from working in GT5P and the only way around it was to change the system date?

Appreciate if anyone can confirm.

I believe the gentleman from insidesimracing said something about the Prologue problem being solved. Might want to give them a shout out to confirm....

Hi Guys,

I have been following this thread closely and am interested in the Turbo wheel. Went to the fanatec site and it looks like they have increased the price of the PS3 wireless dongle from 25 Euros to 50 Euros ? Or is it my imagination

Thanks.

Think your right and not only that but remember you also need to spend extra to get the "GT3RS METAL PADDLE/SHIFTERS"

I have a sneeking feeling though that Fanatec with most sales of the 911Turbo sold out that perhaps Fanatec or even Microsoft will have a new wheel coming for FM3.

Yes it may of course only be X360 compatible but annother option would be good.
Wait and see if they announce anything at E3...

OK Thanks... Will look out for any E3 announcements. But doesn't the Turbo Pure Edition come with the metal paddle shifters as standard and is 360 ready ?

The "Clubsport" (not GT3RS) paddles come standard on the 911 Turbo S "Clubsport Edition", and the 911 GT3 RS. They do not come with the "Pure Edition", unfortunately.

Luckily I went with the Clubsport 911 Turbo S package. 👍

The Turbo S is Xbox 360, PS3, and PC ready at all package levels.

;)

Yeah i knew it was something.

Your right guys "Pure Edition" only has the Plastic, in CS your sorted with just the dongle to get.

Ah really  It states under the Pure Edition content that it comes with "aluminium shifter paddles", and also under the Feature Comparison chart the paddle shifter is worded as "yes (stainless steel)"

Or am I losing the plot

I was under the impression that the "Pure Edition" did not come with the "Clubsport Paddles".

However, one quick look at the comparison overview:

http://www.fanatec.de/html/pw_overview.htm

Reveals that the only wheels that do NOT come with the stainless steel paddles are, the original Porsche 911 (PC, PS3 only), and the Porsche 911 Carrera.

Well, that's another nice bonus for those of you buying "Pure Edition" packages.

;)

They must of changed it maybe....

Hence "Note: All features are subject to change" on the chart

Even early reviews i remember reading/seeing had plastic paddles and i too considered the Turbo S before deciding to go with the GT3RS instead.

new drivers (64 and 32bit) work! I'll record a vid right now of me trying them out. you guys should have your wheels soon.

Cool I can't wait to see your video as soon you upload, post a link please!!! Show off some of the effects in action with rFactor.

Yes a couple more days, too bad there is no tracking number or anything like that, I dont even know if they will use Postal Services, fedex or UPS.
But few more days!!! woohooo

i just installed new drivers. yeah i'll try going back to old ones -_- people are starting to get their GT3RS wheels so more videos and reviews will pop up this week and the next

actually. i'm just going to put my wheel away right now...

Cool video, but does not really how the features work heh but i know its hard to capture that on the cam, I'll know the feeling once i get my wheel in soon... so new driver in the end did not work out? so wheel is fine with older driver right?

no, that is a video from earlier today. the wheel broke a few hours after I recorded that. about 2 minutes after installing the drivers. perfect timing :( I think the newer wheels have better internals so you guys probably don't have to worry. I'm pretty annoyed, but Fanatec will make things right (hopefully quickly)

I couldn't get the LED features to work, but other people w/ 32bit systems seem to be fine.

Hope they will man, good luck!
I also hope my will work well as well. I really don't wanna go back to G25.

yeah, my brother is going to build a system so we can race eachother soon, but I can't help but question reliability based on my own experiences. :/. I'll probably still tell him to get a 911 gt3 because when my wheel was working properly, it was very nice... or to save another $800 and get the frex wheel :P
I don't race as much as I used to. I don't even drift anymore, and the wheel still broke on me so quickly. Its probably just bad luck since I only see 1 or 2 other people complaining... I guess problems are rare? guess we'll find out over the next few weeks/months.

Cool pics, pedals look solid, although cables are sticking out from bottom, but no one will notice it once its in my setup. Also seems like we will get BLACK pedal shifters rather then shiny silver, its good because it will match the wheel.

Is it the same as what happened to this one. I've heard that they're pretty quick at replacing the wheel.

BAAAHHHH...I sure hope my wheel shows up today! I don't get why it takes so long, but what's new!? :ouch: Last time I ordered something from tirerack.com using ground shipping, the item I ordered was delivered the next day from Las Vegas! The wheel is shipped out from my own state (California) yet it has already been 6 days since it was supposedly shipped out :scared::crazy: I don't get it...:nervous:

I wish the thing would just get here already so I can finally put the anticipation and worrying away for good :yuck:
