Are the chase camera views the same(crappy) as in prologue? And have new camera views like the roof cam been added?

Didn't play the prologue, but what was wrong with the chase camera?

Thx

The close camera was to low(cars obstructed the view of the road). The other was too far away from the car and did not alow the car to move left and right within the screen. As if it was stuck to the back of the car.

Therefore I was hoping that a roof cam was implemented(I can recal having seen one on a triple screen setup)

Maybe there is something wrong with my english and I don't understand you totally, but the chase camera is that the same as the "bonnet" camera, cause I saw an image of such a view. Is it any good? I usually drive in bonnet view...

A chase camera is whn the camera is behind cahsing the car, GT3 hed only 1 of them, GT4:P had a second one further away but it was lke it was on a pole always at the exact same spot behind the car which was a bit irritating.

live4speed, take the conversations elsewhere. I've already had to remove a bunch of your posts from other threads.

There is a whole CONVERSATION FORUM on this site, and this ain't board it.

Searched for it, but too many threads with to many posts...

Is there or is there not a bonnet view in GT4?

PS.: I like bonnets ;)

No, you need a network adaptor for each ps2 and a router to connect all of the ps2s (I imagine this is the way to do it..). Like any LAN PC game. We better start forgetting the i-link. Like mentioned before, the ps2s dont carry an i-link port any more (unless you can convert usb to ilink??) therefore I don't think Sony will release any new games that are ilink compatible...

I want to connect two of the new PS2's together when my friend and I get GT4. Would I still need a router when only connecting 2 PS2's? And if so, how much would one cost?

when you ride a car in 3ºd persson you can see backfires
i saw this in videos
and i saw in replay in varius cars
what i whant to know is whem you are ride in a 1 persson view
if we can see the backfire of the others cars?
tks a lot

Eh, what has backfiring got to do with street racing? And I think you'll find rear wings have more o do with Gran Turismo than Need for speed.

Can I ask if, SAVING ON LONG RACES AND RESUMING HAS BEEN CONFIRMED? For example with the 24h endurace races.......can you do some, save your position and resume???????

I've heard that the prizes are still random, but I'm pretty sure that it's 3 cars now. Don't take my word for it thought, I don't have the game :P
