In relation to the other cars I have driven so far, yes.The Gallardo SL has super stiff steering and hard to master ? Maybe too much FFB strength ?
I have my FFB set at 40.

The messed up with difficulty level on console, even on easy some races are impossibile both in career mode and expecially in special events. A friend has the game on pc and can lower the %
Where can you set the AI level?
Call it what you want. The AI uses the same physics as the player.
I've also heard that the times for bronze, silver and gold in the hot lap special events are considerably faster on console than on PC.The messed up with difficulty level on console, even on easy some races are impossibile both in career mode and expecially in special events. That was explained by Stefano is his Look What the Cat Hacked in YouTube program. The AI uses the same physics but can do things you and me can't do because the AI has instant reactions which we don't.Call it what you want.
I know I can't do that with my car.
Almost bought a g920 today so I hopefully can start to enjoy this game.
As it is right now its a miracle I havent thrown the game out of the window.
Its NOT good with a controller.
So! To everybody in the trhead that have posted these amaaaazing impressions of how great this is with a wheel... What wheel exactly?!
What do I have to buy to be able to have some sort of control and enjoyment out of this very much pcars version 2 game?
Tested a g920 today on a pc rigg with 3 screens and it was very impressive and great feeling of quality and robust wheel and pedals. Loved the brakepedal!
But... It didnt feel as direct and razorsharp in respons as you would get from a real car.
But would the fx wheel give that?!
If not then i buy g920 for the other things it did good.
T300 PS4

One has as many laps as you want to do and has a ghost of your fastest lap, the other only allows you as many laps as you can do with the time extensions. On the PC there is a banner over the track at the timer points. It's a shame that isn't on the PS4.Stupid question but what's the difference between time attack and hotlap, other than points?
Hi Donnced Thanks for this ^^^ Have you brought it then already ? I might have to try and beat some of you & @doblocruiser hotlaps once I get some practice in you always pipped me to the post in the end in DC 👍
@35mm That V8 mustang engine sounds lovely, I am tempted to get one of these now they are here in the UK RHD and the 5.0 V8 made it through all the regs!
These are Thrustmaster wheels on Xbox1.So I am on the wrong console...
This is just getting more and more expensive...
The Thrustmaster TX wheel is mechanically exactly the same as the T300. So no need for a console change. So I am on the wrong console...

So the AI can circumvent the physics? Sorry, I can't make much sense of the instant reactions part. The clip @35mm posted looks like something impossible is going on with the car.

If I make a correction on my wheel from 9:00 to 3:00 it takes about a half a second, the AI does it instantly. This means they can sometimes make inhuman corrections. They also use stability control which means the mistakes don't get too out of hand in the first place. But, he just made some changes that go towards ducking that like temporarily disabling the SC when they make a mistake a bump another car so it's a little harder for them to recover. Hopefully this will trickle down to the consoles soon.
About the career mode, not only are they putting us against impossible opponents, but also the AI cars have super physics:
I've said it before and i'll say it again, there is a lot that is noticeably out of character with kunos when regarding the consoles. Beating around the bush has never been a thing with kunos, they actually tend to say too much and get flak for it that being said they arent giving solid answers to a lot of things on console yet they continue to be direct on pc. Little curious about that, i certainly hope that the publisher bottleneck will not become an underlying issue for kunos. Then again this is likely the reason you get AAA devs leaving big studios to go indie with their mates.I agree, it's the same sort of corporate tip-toeing that bugs the 🤬 out of me. However, Kunos has already won me over as far as interaction and acknowledgement of concerns. They've already done a MUCH better job than SMS there. So that's something.
Call it what you want.
I know I can't do that with my car.
I've heard it can cost over 20 grand a time too.
Just had the time of my life with this combo:
The Mustang can be a bit of a pain with its heavy nose, but the sound it makes is glorious. Great traction, too (TC off)!
Also, Zandvoort became my new favorite track in the game. It may not be laser-scanned, but it's a joy.

EDIT: LOL brownninja knows how Kunos is... Funny we were posting at the same time.
