About the future of pre-order bonus cars on the AC Facebook page:

ADDITIONAL CARS (PERFORMANCE AND PRESTIGE PACKS)
Over the last few days, an increasing number of our community members have been asking about the availability of the PRESTIGE and PERFORMANCE bonus cars for those who own the standard edition of Assetto Corsa. Right now, we don’t have any information to share. Should this change in the near future, we will let you know across our Official community channels.

It worries me how they imply if and not when. I'm sure they already know so why the secrecy? It's not like they have to provide a release date, but they achieve nothing by holding people on the fence. These are all significant cars for the game.

After the update 1.8, anyone notice any difference in the graphics for PS4, especially during Replays?

I see many people complaining about the bad graphics and screen tearing during Replays.

Mainly due to the positive comments in here and the price, I decided to give it a go as well ;) Let's see if the driving model makes up for Peugeot not being in there :irked::lol:

That is a good price.

It surely is. One of France's biggest supermarkets is offering it for that price and I thought , wow that's the same as a budget title. GTP has been vocal enough about the positive sides and also the développer seems to be on the good side and making a serious effort to deliver a decent product (fb post). I know now what to expect I'll let it slowly sink in 👍

Just had the time of my life with this combo:

The Mustang can be a bit of a pain with its heavy nose, but the sound it makes is glorious. Great traction, too (TC off)!

Also, Zandvoort became my new favorite track in the game. It may not be laser-scanned, but it's a joy.

I agree with Inside Sim Racing about the console graphics being great. Maybe not the best and there are visual issues with FPS and tearing. However, the game looks very natural compared to its competitors. My only real gripe, which is minor, is that the cars and environments don't complement each other very well. The trackside scenery doesn't ask for our jaws to drop, but it definitely gets the job done when being out there driving.

Rik it is the electronic diff locking put in by them I don't think you can get rid of it?

edit: Beat me too it ^^^

I really wanted the Mustang and GTR nismo but looks like now this isn't part of the Season Pass.

Can anyone confirm if I buy the season pass now do you get any extra cars/dlc straight away or will they have a list of what is included in the season pass to download?

After 30 minutes with controller, no aids, factory car settings.

- Nice menus. Crisp and easy to navigate
- different filters for gameplay(vidéo options)
- acceptable loading times
- replays need work, cars out of focus, framerate is a mess
- graphics overal not bad
- trackside détail  what détail :irked:
- feel of driving
- Input requires a lot of finesse
- great différence between cars
- physics more advanced than anything I've played so far
- very satisfying expérience
- it's hard and difficult
- No photomode :indiff:
- Need a lot more time to adapt ;)

Tomorrow I hook up the wheel.

I agree, it's the same sort of corporate tip-toeing that bugs the 🤬 out of me. However, Kunos has already won me over as far as interaction and acknowledgement of concerns. They've already done a MUCH better job than SMS there. So that's something.

If it's any consolation, I have noticed over the last few weeks that the FB page doesn't seam to have all the info, they have been asked questions and not been able to give a definitive answer but I have seen the answer given on Marcos fb page already. Someone asked the other day when season pass was going to be available and they didn't know, but we on here did know.

I wouldn't be surprised if 505 Games manages, or at least has access to, AC's FB page. Probably some PR people afraid of overstepping boundaries.

Hi mate!

The cars like the mustang and gt-r are from the prestige pre-order edition only for the moment..

They aren't in the season pass.. And don't no if in a near future the will make as a normal DLC pack.

The season pass include the following future DLC
-Japanese car pack
-Red car pack
-The 3 Porsche DLC's.

The only thing they give you buying it is a exclusive theme..

This is what it looks :

Once the first DLC Pack is announced I buy the season pass, not investing that much money without knowing when we can expect stuff.

Regarding Filters - does anyone have comparison screenshots? Haven't found any.

@Titzon Toast
I don't know why you feel the need to wait. Both of those issues WILL be addressed. And I don't mean in a "We'll get to it, but we really won't" Polyphony kind of way. If they say they are doing something, they do it. Why would you want to all of a sudden be the Assetto Corsa newbie racing against people with AC experience? Now, I could see if it had crappy physics, waiting for something like that to be fixed first makes a lot of sense. Obviously, do whatever you wish - it's your cash. I just think you're going to be denying yourself a lot of pleasure for no reason.

My issue is WHEN they will be adressed. For me AC as is now without private lobbies to race in organized environment is like a Beer Mug with a hole in the bottom. Useless.

And talking about cash i'm in a situation where i'm pretty unsure of my economics since the factory i've been working for in the last 12 years is about to close and i'm not sure what i'll be going to do at the moment.

Here it costs around 50 euros, if i was sure they would fix it VERY VERY soon i would invest in the game. If they are gonna be even a couple of months later the userbase will have already slimmed down (many other games come as an example) and one could pick it up for risible price...

The real point is that as much as i'm Italian and proud of Kunos it was UTTERLY IDIOTIC to release the game without private lobbies and the uproar in the social media (expecially from italians) is pretty much massive... T_T

I'm honestly sad about their decision but 100s say that the need for private lobbies was pointed out over and over in the forums and they did not care about it.

Well in any case i'll be watching with interests; i love mugello and magione :D

Oh and if you would care to check my race records on gt5-6-Pcars you would understand that i'll always be in the last places so being late to the party is not going to matter much or to change my inherent speed :D

They are dedicated servers and works very good... No lag problems don't make "jumps" when people enter or leave the lobby..

Sounds good :)

On ps4 there are also some performance issues ,for example at Barcelona.

Sounds Baddy? How many car on track mate?

Some thoughts...
We all know the strengths of AC, so i would like to point out some weak points.
I already owned the game for PC, but i bought it again for PS4 because i prefer to play on console and my PC isn't really powerful.

The new console UI has some issues, because important features are missing, and i was wondering if anyone else noticed or cared. First thing i have to mention is the fact that you're not able to choose specific AI cars anymore. In the PC version, you can edit every single AI car. You can set up your own championships this way, with the same AI cars in every race (for example: 3x Audi R8, 3x BMW Z4, 1x Glickenhaus SCG003). This isn't possible anymore in the console version. I was afraid they would delete this option in favor of a simplified UI, but i think a game like AC isn't simple at all so it shoulnd't get such a dumbed down UI / menu.

Another thing worth pointing out: If you choose to race against AI cars of the same class, the game will put GT3 cars together with GT2 / GTE cars. It is strange, because this didn't happened in the pc version. In real life, GT2 / GTE are faster than regular GT3 cars and the only way to put them together in one race, if at all, is by doing a lot of BOP (balance of performance).

I wonder if anyone else is unhappy about this and if Kunos are awared of this situation. I would like to see this changed in one of the upcoming patches.

Last but not least: AI driver difficulty settings has been reduced to 4 levels. In the PC version, you could do a lot more fine tuning. Thats sad because "easy" is the lowest difficutly and it is already way to hard for a less skilled player IMO.

Thanks for liosting those up.

Hi Donnced ;) Thanks for this ^^^ Have you brought it then already ? :gtpflag: I might have to try and beat some of you & @doblocruiser hotlaps once I get some practice in you always pipped me to the post in the end in DC 👍

@35mm That V8 mustang engine sounds lovely, I am tempted to get one of these now they are here in the UK RHD and the 5.0 V8 made it through all the regs!

The biggest handful I've encountered so far:

Really hard to master, this car. It also has a super stiff steering; my wrists are aching.

Oh, and the sound... Listen to this:

Please tell me did I hear it wrong, but the Gallardo SL sounds like it has too much echo or reverb ? like inside a giant can :(
The Gallardo SL has super stiff steering and hard to master ? Maybe too much FFB strength ?

I am back, this time after an hour with the wheel and several careersession under the belt. I have put the ffb on 48 because at 100 it brakes my arms. What can I say extra from what already has been said? The expérience with the wheel is lovely. Driving an fwd Abarth, à rwd beemer or the Alfa 155, all feels different and the feedback through the wheel is second to none

a few points:

- career hotlaps: it's not clear at all when you have reached enough points for bronze, silver or gold. Time runs out eventually and that's it.

- You can't continue to the Next round after you finished a careerround. Need to quit and re-enter the next race.

- in the careeroverview you don't have a clue what medal you obtained for each round and it's not clear which round is finished or not.

- the beemer is unbeatable in novice round with the Alfa.

- Challenge mode gives no indication of achievement.

- AI is good. The put up a nice fight.

- A very good solid foundation.

- Career and Challenges are useless (but great fun) because the whole content is already unlocked.

- For what are the credits one wins?

- This blows pCars out of the water in terms of driving but pCars is miles ahead with graphics and their weather system.

- Content is a bit shallow. Nice however to have several tracks I already enjoyed in Superstars V8 Next Challenge.

- It's difficult to put down once you start

So far what I came across.
