yep, it records 1080p/30fps, but if you want 60 fps video, you need to do broadcast.
Or buy a capture card, which is what I ended up doing.

On the PC version is the sound nicely balanced between engine, tyres, opponents, brakes and wind?

Personally I don't understand why wind is in as its a distracting sound listening to the tyres. Thank goodness it can be switched off though. Its crazily messed up on the console as the engine is so loud it drowns out the tyres. With default settings 100%, opponents drown out everything else.

Seems strange that I had to spend some time with the headset and lower/balance the sounds. The game certainly doesn't work in percentages as it is amazing how loud the menu music really is at 2 and 3 percent let alone the menu adjustments and the other settings.

Lots of fine sounds I had never heard before. Especially when the rear tyres are going to give. Also hearing more subtle lower growls, gargles, pops, bangs clearer and sharper than before.

Think I had to lower engine down to 27% because it simply was too darn loud. Cannot remember the other settings...
The audio balance in AC needs a lot of work in my opinion.

Now I'm running a tactile set-up it became even clearer, with the default values the engine dominates everything to the point that it actually overpowers every bit of track detail from the tactile side.

All the lovely detail you get through the FFB takes a lot of digging to get out of the audio side of thing for the tactile (ironically PCars is the exact opposite).

I expect @Donnced to be back with an exhaustive list of bugs, glitches & complaints...within 90 minutes. :sly:  I'm just kidding. I hope v1.12 fixed some of those issues you guys were having -- and most importantly, I hope it didn't create any. :banghead: Hey...wait a minute. You guys just passed us. We're still on v1.11.4. :sly: :D
Hi! I'm back!
Love the Porsche 908...And the 911 GT3 Cup... For The rest... Not One bug, issue or performance fix....Not even the rear aero missing options of the 2 Ferrari SF15-T and F138... No Brake pressure setup option.. No false starts...no Custom Championships. .

Only DLC cars and Special Events....back to waiting till March to see if they fix something.

At least I've got seven toys more to play hotlaps with

But will also be the last DLC I've buyed from Kunos..... If they want my money they gonna get to make a lot of work before

That sucks man. It really sucks because we all know that they can't issue patches for consoles as quickly as they can for PC. So, even if they finish up with most of the fixes you just listed, you know it's going to be a while before v1.13 comes. :grumpy: Such a bummer... 👎

What settings did you end up with for the audio?

As I suspected after the underwhelming release notes posted last week, the update fixed none of the irritating problems we've been noticing for too long now.

- Unreliable setup telemetry.
- Conflicting telemetric feedback depending on how the pit stall is accessed during a session.
- Session restarts do not reset tire degradation (according to telemetry).
- No way to control TC and ABS on hybrid cars.
- Every session starts with a loud pop.
- Turbo sound effects still missing on several cars after the sound engine was updated to 1.08.
- Frequent sound cutting when upshifting the Ferrari 488 GTB.
- Tire textures flicker on some cars.

Did console players get all Ferrari SF15-T setup options? Did they fix the stereo problems in the main menu? I didn't have time to check myself.

It's also worth mentioning that I don't see the graphical improvements made to car dashboards. On the contrary, I think colors appear toned down overall, which in turn makes the game look somewhat dark and dull. Whatever the update might have fixed should have been documented down to specifics like it's always done for the PC version. I guess the promised benefits of having the added resources of Digital Bros on board are yet to be revealed on this side of the fence. Things were shaping up nicely when version 1.10 released, but the two latest updates have mostly been about adding DLC support. Sadly, I won't be buying the new Porsche pack or any other DLC until they start fixing things not working.

I realy hope that once after the private lobbies inclusion things speeds up in bug and issue fixes and adding options and features missing like false starts, UDP applications compatibility or sound issues fixes....

Till then...enjoying driving and hotlaping the new toys.... And will have a look at the new Special Events also.... Between Assetto and Pcars for online racing leagues I've got for plenty of hours of pure joy:cheers:

Oh well.

Same here but I'm not very hopeful anymore.

Update out on xbox aswell! And the porche pack 3 is actually working with the season pass this time. I think it was 1.3gb, downloading now.
Good job Kunos, wasn't expecting it so quickly after they said it was delayed. Guess they figured it out..

Anything fancy? Been looking on some on Amazon. What are you using?
Elegato HD60.

Not the cheapest around, but it does do 1080p and 60fps (anything less and I may as well use the PS4 Pro), works well and produces some good results. Just make sure your PC can support it as converting the footage at that resolution and frame rate is a bit demanding (nothing mad PC wise, but its worth a check).

If you go down that route I would also suggest looking at PC based Video editing software, good news about that is a lot of free options exist that are very good (I use HitFilm 4 Express, but Lightworks is worth a look as well).

I will check on the audio settings tonight for you and let you know.

Ha, I think this is because the car spawns above the ground and then drops. For some reason I always look forward to that. It might also have something to do with odd alignment readings. Might need to roll a little for things to settle out like when you let a car down from jacks.

I'll be happy if North America gets the update and access to the DLC by then end of the day. I'm glad to hear xbox got the update after the bad news about it not passing MS checks. I hope that's not some accident and they take it back!

V1.13 supposedly coming end of February.
It makes me question what are they actually working on with each patch, 34 days since the last one, and really just the damage affect has been fixed a bit, and in car textures.....Is that all?
Aris= V10 tyres and physics (and possibly doing the dreaded job of testing real cars on track poor bugger ). Stefano = custom lobbies and championships and god knows what else.

I downloaded the update but couldn't use any of the new Porsche's yet, as usual. So 🤬 annoying.

Love these little toys

For me the best cars of PP3.... The Porsche CUP and GT3 are similar, the GT3 a bit more performance... But really funny cars to drive!

The 917 and 908.....old school powaaaa:bowdown::bowdown::bowdown: love them both!

The LMP1-H of 2016...i Like it...but i prefer the 2015 model...seems quiete faster than the new one...

This evening more!

Its listed for the store tomorrow. And you probably need that 10mb download to unlock those. There really is nothing besides the new Events and Cars though. Hope my Friend has no more shifting Problems with his fanatec wheel

So... the lobbies. No, not private lobbies. Whats the track and car combinations after this update... Everything still Red Bull or Nordschleife?

Any Lotus 98T showing up online yet?

962 Longtail at Zandvoort :eek::eek:

What a car... so fast, so easy to drive. Gold on 4th lap, almost a second under gold on 5th... wish it had been a bit harder.

Impressions about pp3

I do not like much older cars. But this one albeit it has super uber scary soft springs its really good to race and being around.

The two gt3 cars are top notch. And I mean they're cup one I think it's nailed on the tarmac and perfect for one make series.

The other one( 2016?) It's really good and fast but seems to hate non flat tracks.

The hybrid proto is great but we already had one as good as it.
The other stuff for me is just filler.

I would give it a 8.5/10 for the cars and 0/10 for the lack of fixes and features.

Sounds like all parts are in place. We just miss the online to enjoy it and custom championship for those playing offline.

Oh and enough porsches now!

Is it just me or is that 911 GT3R really hard to drive? Yes, i'm quick on Nürburging GP but the car seems a bit nervous on Nordschleife. In fact, i'm loosing its tail quite often. Oh, and that car hates curbs more than anything else on this planet -.-
