Yes, but the delta has varied between updates from 3 decimal points to 2 then back again. As PC is to 2 decimal points I expect console to be the same.
The 2 gameplays of next gen showed are on 3 decimals as D3T reverted with the petition due people asking for it in 505games AC support discord

In PC , 1.8 brought upgraded Unreal engine 4 version with Nvidia GeForce DLSS and AMD FSR (last one can be used in consoles ,as they use AMD GPU) , so we will see if it improve next Gen once they added 1.8 and they add 2 decimals delta back as on PC version.

I would like to know also if they added the exterior led lights on the endurance cars on next Gen version, didn't see it neither on the last gameplay of next gen showed

I didn't notice the aux endurance light either. I hope they do come to PS5. It's a very cool look.
A real livery editor would also be a great addition.
I also wish they would fix the "PLY" on the windshield light

Gt7 will probably look better than ACC. But at the same time you’re not buying ACC for looks.

Gt Sport looked way better than ACC on ps4. But ACC was miles better in terms of gameplay.
I think the sky boxes and general lighting make GTS look very nice, but I find ACC to be a little more realistic, if that's even the right word. Saturation not cranked up so much in ACC makes it look pleasing to the eye.
At a glance GT definitely looks nicer, but is certainly hyper-real as opposed to real.
Am I making any sense? 😅

Yes you are I think the hdr in acc doesn’t pop as much as in get sport and gt7 that’s why acc looks a little more realistic to the enviroment

Is it fair to say that ACC isn’t as polished as GT? The menus probably aren’t as nice and the cars, or so I’ve read, sometimes appear to hover over the track. Also I’ve read that ACC is somewhat buggy, nothing game breaking but perhaps more of a nuisance? One thing I have seen is the Porsche Cup car is very high at the front in the menu, like a front engined car would look without an have an engine in it, lol. That to me is a lack of attention to detail. Does it affect the game/sim? No, but it just looks a bit silly and if they can’t do a simple thing like that correctly, what other rough spots are there?

Acc is more about the racing gt7 is also about playing with cars and that can be fun when it comes to serious racing acc is for me I will buy gt7 because that can be fun to I’ve been playing acc for a year or more I don’t find it to be buggy at all I hope ps5 version is great I’m looking forward to it in just 3 days

You do know the front of the Porsche has no engine in it? Lol

Yes I know lol. I was just trying to describe how the car sits, like one without an engine, not specifically a Porsche though. I’ve edited it so it reads better now!

I have a few questions about this update:
-When on the 22nd of February is it coming out?
-Will my game be "upgraded" to PS5 spec or do I have to buy it again?
-Will the data that's currently on the game carry over to the new version?
-Can I still access my setups?
-It is true that the update releases 2 days later for those on disk?
-Will I need to pay for the upgrade?

If you read the FaQ ,you already would know most of your questions, but I'll answer the one's i know.

-When on the 22nd of February is it coming out?
Nobody knows, normally updates of ACC on console were launched in the afternoon..but maybe this one can be available at midnight like when New games hit the PS store.

-Will my game be "upgraded" to PS5 spec or do I have to buy it again?
It will be upgraded, you don't have to buy the game again.

-Will the data that's currently on the game carry over to the new version?
Yes, your progress and profile data will cover over, and the DLC's that you have also.

-Can I still access my setups?
That's a question nobody knows, if it's carry over like game progress /driver profile..
I would suggest to take screenshots from your most wanted setups in the case they don't carry over.

-It is true that the update releases 2 days later for those on disk?
Yes, they will realese disc copy with 2020 intercontinental DLC on 24th for next Gen consoles.

-Will I need to pay for the upgrade?
No, it's free upgrade

Iam missing the point with the release date of 22nd, if i cant get my disc upgrade until 24th. I really hope button box support is added for xbox, proper sim experience

If you got disc version of Xbox one/PS4 you get your update 22th, if you want to buy next Gen disc, it's 24th. Maybe for logistics thing's day differs.

Already stated in FaQ than no button box/ keyboard support not UDP implementation in next Gen consoles

Do you think acc on ps5 will look as good as gt7 graphics wise
No, ACC looks pretty good during sunset/sunrise on PS4 so I expect ACC to look much better on PS5. GT7 will look great but it doesnt have 24HR day cycle on every track. Also even though GT7 will look great it still bugs me that they treat the player like they're playing through a camera with poor HDR rather than human eyes ( cockpit goes black when driving into the sun).

On PS4 ACC definitely isn't as polished as GT. The cars hovering over GTS track is simply down to shadows, hopefully this wont be an issue on next gen. As for the Porsche I highly doubt they have a detail like that wrong without people pointing it out and not fixing it. You've just made me curious about something though. I'm wondering if the fuel tanks are empty in the showroom and if the porsches fuel tanks are in the front.

I have a feeling I'll have to wait till at least 2pm for the update to appear, which would be annoying as I have a free morning tomorrow

Does anybody know if they are including the 2020 GT World challenge with the ps5 upgrade? I know it comes if you buy the physical disc but I am thinking that if we just do the upgrade we won't get that DLC correct?
