This is very strange. I feel very little difference at all from before the update. If anything, my wheel feels a bit heavier now but otherwise much of a muchness.

Have you connected your wheel to a PC to check the firmware is up to date?

I will double check I’m sure I have the latest firmware… I have no problem with GTS or the PS4 version, and I have also watch a couple streamers explaining the same sensations I’m getting with the wheel… I can feel bumps, my tires, elevation changes.. but when I turn the wheel it feels mushy which kills all the details of the car handling sensation.

This game just hates me. When I first played it around when it came out on PS4, the pit crews would be shown changing my flat tire, but wouldn't actually change it. Now, they kept filling me up with not enough fuel to finish the race and I've run into a weird bug where it DSQ's everyone for speeding on pit lane. Like the AI don't even go into pit lane, but the game registers them as doing so and since they're at race speed, it DSQs them. I mean, it's a free win for me, but...I wish it would stop

I’m pretty certain I have the latest firmware update for my T300 and I’m experiencing the exact same as you described. For now I will play the PS4 version on my PS5 until this gets sorted.

Yea I’m thinking that also but after playing the PS5 version it looks great sounds great and it gives me a better vibe I don’t want to go back to the PS4 version. 😂 The PS4 version my wheel felt amazing playing ACC I’m going to try out some other settings later.

Perhaps try turning the dynamic damping down. It simulates heavier wheel turning when going slowly. It seems higher on PS5 than I remember it being so I had to turn my down a bit. Otherwise have no idea. It's annoying how things just don't work in these games.

What FOV are you guys using?
I know there is a ”right” way to calculate the FOV.
But it does not work sitting 3 meters from a 75” tv.
I lowered the default 54 to 45 and moved the seat, feels good for now.

I used this one for calculating fov https://andyf.me/fovcalc.html the sliders won't give you the numbers but you can still type them in, don't know how well it works with bigger screens like yours but looks good for mine

This game looks great and sounds amazing! With that said I cannot enjoy this game at all.. I have GT TM T300 and I cannot feel anything whatsoever on what the car is doing! If I happen to mess up it’s all over for me for the fact of I cannot feel the car. My wheel feels terrible it’s pure mush… I’m just a little annoyed because I want to play this game but the driving is just bad for me right now. My PS4 version did not feel like this in anyway… I tried people advice in here and it made the wheel feel better but something is just still off and I can’t get past it.

Try maxing out the DOR settings on your wheel and in game. This worked for me.

Game crashes a lot when loading/saving control setups. Repeatedly for me today.
And the image of a Lambo when tuning the new BMW... lol
On track the game is great, but everything else is lacking yet again. Attention to detail and all that.

This is why I never ever buy at launch. After reading about only 20 car grids in offline custom championships and all the bugs it’s a hard pass for me.

McLaren, Porsche and Ferrari GT3.
I am still testing, but this feels good.(3 meters from a 75” tv.)
I use the dpad to look right and left, checking the mirrors to make the position feel like I am sitting in a real car.

Glad I could help, FOV and seat position settings should be in all racing games.
It really is a game changer.
I will check, probably tomorrow.

I've been loving PC2 on a controller since I got my XSX, but the core driving experience in this blows it out of the water.
(At least when using certain cams like dash or hood. I can't get on with the steering wheel animations.)
I was in two minds about picking it up, since I was still enjoying PC2 and knew it would be on sale again soon enough. (3 of the 4 DLC packs were on sale this week) But I was desperate to see something (I like) push my XSX!
It's just the lack of variety that hurts it. But it has me excited at the prospect of AC2.

Set my fov To 42 adjusted seat movements it’s now perfect 55 inch tv 6 ft. From tv now they just have to fix multiplayer bugs which they will give them some time I trust kunos

Wait... Offline is only 20 cars on grid? I only play single player offline. This is disappointing. I'm on vacation with the family and I can't wait to get home and now I'm not so in a rush to get home

Do you play in custom championships or just single player races? Because single player races are still 24 car grids. That's how I play. But I don't know about custom championships because I don't play those.

According to an earlier comment by someone who has the sim, it is 30/31 cars offline single race and 20 offline custom championship. This kills my enthusiasm for ACC.

Yes some tracks allow for 30 AI in single player races, you can actually select 31 but a warning message appears saying performance may be impacted on certain CPUs.... on a console... I guess this is left over from the PC version.

Other tracks limit you at 24 or so.
But you cannot choose more than 19 AI cars in custom championship. I hope this oversight is rectified soon.

Thanks for clearing this up, this is good information. I hope they rectify it too, 30/31 cars in the custom championship would be great but I don't see it happening. I am assuming this is a design decision but I will be extremely happy if the 1.8 update arrives with this changed.

Then you should set the ingame setting to 900 dgr.

Audi and Lamborghini. ( The Lambo is a tricky one ).
Changed the pitch on the Ferrari to 6.0

Does anyone have any fanatec issues? ive a CSL Elite with a formula V2 wheel (xbox compatible) and loadcell pedals. The PS5 works fine no issues, but when I try to run it on the Series X the pedals arnt recognised. Firmware is upto date and its on Xbox mode. Ive no idea what the issues could be,
