According to fov calculator I sit 67 inches from 55 inch tv 16:9 my fov should be 23 degrees does that sound right?

That’s sounds about right.
I’ve a 32” monitor on an arm just behind my steering wheel rim and that works out at 31

Anyone else having an issue where the power randomly cuts out when lifting off the throttle? I have to stop and start the engine up every time and it’s literally unplayable
I didn’t have an issue with it on the PS4 version

Not sure, I was a bit confused as it looked like some of my maps from my old control saves ported over to the T300 preset, but I did change a few.
I don't have the standard T300 rim with the PS buttons so like to map them to where I want anyway.

The top one looks like my headlights on my current vehicle so that is more realistic to me 🤣

thats almost exactly my setup but i prefer 41 degrees so far. 23 is wayyyy zoomed.

I stumbled on something earlier.
I'd got decent graphics and in single player I messed with the video settings, but other than motion blur nothing else worked, or so I thought. When I went into an online lobby everything was on max, contrast, saturation, far too much colour, like on LSD!
I did some messing and realised that if your'e in a session whatever video settings you adjust onlyntake effect once you've quit the session and gone back in to check it. I was starting to think my monitor was playing up but once I knew this I got the settings as I want them and the graphics are so much better now

It looks like the control binding save issue is back. L2 and R2 don’t hold their save. The accelerator cutting out is weird. Happens every time I cycle the MFD to the electrics and pit stop page. And I’m not taking too well to the the steering wheel damping either. I’m sure these issues will be resolved and in the meantime I’m glad I didn’t delete the PS4 version.

Can confirm that controller gameplay is much better with the update. Haven't even touched the settings and it's far smoother and more controllable than before

The new wheel preset I saved yesterday is no longer there, even though it said it was saved, so I'm back to loading up my old individual DOR saves,

The lights indicator isn't visible even though it's enabled in the options,

You can only have 20 cars in custom championship as opposed to 30/31 in single races. Grrr.

Have not noticed any problem with the wheel animation.
Working DOR is so nice.

What FOV are you guys using?
I know there is a ”right” way to calculate the FOV.
But it does not work sitting 3 meters from a 75” tv.
I lowered the default 54 to 45 and moved the seat, feels good for now.

McLaren, Porsche and Ferrari GT3.
I am still testing, but this feels good.(3 meters from a 75” tv.)
I use the dpad to look right and left, checking the mirrors to make the position feel like I am sitting in a real car.

This game looks great and sounds amazing! With that said I cannot enjoy this game at all.. I have GT TM T300 and I cannot feel anything whatsoever on what the car is doing! If I happen to mess up it’s all over for me for the fact of I cannot feel the car. My wheel feels terrible it’s pure mush… I’m just a little annoyed because I want to play this game but the driving is just bad for me right now. My PS4 version did not feel like this in anyway… I tried people advice in here and it made the wheel feel better but something is just still off and I can’t get past it.

This is very strange. I feel very little difference at all from before the update. If anything, my wheel feels a bit heavier now but otherwise much of a muchness.

Have you connected your wheel to a PC to check the firmware is up to date?

My T300 with PS5 feels slightly better than it did with the PS4 so it is really strange.
I have lowered my gain 2-3 % and put the steer lock to 900dgr.
Check your firmware so it is the latest version.

Tested the settings on my tv, and it made it much worse.
But the important thing is that I now know how to activate the settings.
So thanks for the information.
