I haven't messed with FOV yet, I presume they save to a specific car, and not just across the board?
The FOV saves for all cars, but the other settings is specific for each car.
You can have different FOV for every camera ( dashboard, bonnet etc. )

I put my wheel on 52 gain if I put it on 60 or higher my arms get very tired funny before the upgrade on ps5 I would run it on 70 but now 52 feels comfortable

Sooooo….

I got home from riding yesterday afternoon and jumped into an hour and a half session on the PS4 version of the title. I then took a 45 minute break to unload the van and wash my bike as the new PS5 patch loaded up.

Checked to make sure all my settings transferred over….Went right into it and like everyone else, the first thing I noticed was the FFB lacking compared to ACC PS4. I did some of the recommendations mentioned here, along with some wheel base setting changes, and was able to recoup some of the lost FFB strength and nuances. It’s still down on power though. After about an hour messing about on the PS5 patch, I went back and played the PS4 version for a 20 minute race.

This new patch definitely is better in every way except for the FFB. I didn’t even bother with online stuff so I can’t speak to that. But all in all I’m very pleased. I hope that the FFB issue gets worked out soon, and I hope that they allow us to make use of button boxes and such in the future.

Does anyone know if ACC on console can make use of telemetry-driven bass shakers?

I've played for the first time today and found some annoying bugs.
I've tried two offline races and in both many of the AI cars have been disqualified.
If I scroll through the settings in the bottom left container, the acceleration stops sometimes. I have to lift the acceleration in order to go to full speed again.

This is one annoying bug, I tend to do short races with only one pitstop and change all the settings during the rolling start so I don't run have to scroll to either the pitstop or electronics mfd pages and run into this bug.

Anyone here have a CSL DD? Mine comes tomorrow and I’m curious to see what all settings you guys are using…and if the Fanatec recommended settings are any good

I've got a CSL DD. I'm using the Fanatec recommended settings and it's great. I'm on the Xbox Series X. But I did not go into these new settings in the game and change the wheel to max DOR or whatever it is others have done. It didn't need that. I also manually change the DOR for each car both on the Fanatec and in the game controls just like I did before this update.

They also don’t mention the issue with the online lobbies, specifically, and it’s not in the priority list. They mentioned connection issues but not the laps/positions issue.

If this is not a priority I don’t know what is.

you cant have all these car setting buttons and have no way to use them all, the game simply has to support button boxes otherwise why give us the options in the first place, its ridiculous

Kunos made the game for PC and have absolutely zero interest in consoles.

The publisher and two companies who have ported the game to old gen and now new gen consoles have consistently ignored requests to add keyboard support.

All you can do is pick the most important ones and go with that. Its just one of the rough edges to the game.

I finally got a chance to play last night and I did a little bit in career but I wasn't familiar with track o I quit and went to practice mode to familiarize myself with the track. No issues so far but I haven't tried online or done a full race yet

Looked online a various sites say ACC and AC use vertical FoV, but when I put my details into a FOV calculator it comes up as 33. Which is awful, no sense of speed, everything is too close, you have to pull the camera back to get the cockpit back into view. Now the default FOV in game is 54, which for the horizontal looks correct to me, as it looks like it did pre update.
Also noticed the seat camera values are slightly different for each car

There are enough buttons to map the important stuff, what i’m saying is having a button for every individual setting is kind if pointless, especially with the mfd hud in the game.

Totally agree, just map the ones that are important to you, they may not be what someone else would want. But most other things can be used from MFD maybe apart from turning FFB up or down

When you use correct fov for the first time it’s usually gonna look strange but stick with it for a few days, then decide what to use.
I suggest you try brands hatch with correct fov, you’ll notice elevation changes that were next to unnoticeable with wider fov.

I use a 32” monitor mounted just behind my steering wheel, my fov works out at 31.5, in game set at 32, it makes a massive difference once used to it, both for accuracy and immersion.

I believe kunos does care about this game it’s there game and their reputation is at stake there is money to be Made with future dlc also if kunos didn’t care why would Marcos do a whole interview with Jordan on acc on new gen console game release they will kill the bugs
They didn't kill them in the almost 2yrs since it came out on last gen, there's no way they're going to fix them all this time round.
