About fov you are right mine is at 42 and have all the adjustments for seating the way I like it makes a big difference for immersion and that equals fun this sim is awesome now the graphics are at 4K 60 fps it looks as good as a high end pc

Does anyone have any fanatec issues? ive a CSL Elite with a formula V2 wheel (xbox compatible) and loadcell pedals. The PS5 works fine no issues, but when I try to run it on the Series X the pedals arnt recognised. Firmware is upto date and its on Xbox mode. Ive no idea what the issues could be,
I’m playing on a series x with a csl elite base and v3 inverted pedals without any issues ,I’m sure my firmware is an older version but it all works fine so i don’t want to update it

My impulse triggers aren't working on my SX. Is this right ? Did it work with the previous gen version ?

ACC is not a sequel to AC. It is a standalone game licensed by SRO for the GT World Challenge. Therefore only the tracks that the real series races on are in the game. And they don't race at RBR.
Ah ok,shame.

I just don't understand what's missing in this game for me.

When the PS5 upgrade dropped, I was on a cruise ship and so jealous. Couldn't wait to get home today.

Looks crisper and sounds as good as ever, yet, something is just missing. I didn't enjoy playing it and I can't explain what it was. Still hate the rolling starts and, even with the upgrade, it's still not overly pleasant on my eyes.

I'm shelving it. Playing PC2 until GT7 drops. Can't believe PC2 is still my go to game.

Guys make sure your fov is between 40 and 50 with the right adjustments to seat positions ( your call) it makes the game even more realistic
Does it though? I'm real hesitant to go in a start goofing around with settings like this and end up completely ruining the game for me. Unless you can just totally get rid of it and reset back to default if it doesn't work out.

I've been waiting for an option to reduce their length for ages.

Some of them are a serious waste of time 'cause nothing's achieved by driving that far in-formation.
The AI's pathfinding until the race start is garbage. I witnessed numerous cars colliding with the wall at Spa on someone else's stream. This was on the PS5, the PC version is fine.

Yes, you can reset to default. It's an option within the menu.

Believe me give it a go , you can’t bugger it up and once you’ve experienced a real FOV you won’t go back, trust me.

For myself, I didn't find it particularly useful to find out and use what the absolute correct fov should be. However, every time I get on AC, I absolutely will slide the fov up and seating position back until the perspective looks more natural to me. The default fov makes stuff look much further away than it does irl to me.

Agreed it a very personal choice.

Thanks mate, i dont know whats going on with my pedals... I will just stick to the PS5 version and revisit this when i can be bothered with the hassle.

I didn't find any difference in the FOV pre update to the default FOV post update, so the driving felt the same. With all these calculators saying ACC uses vertical, then it must have been all wrong from day one.
I don't think so

I looked around on Youtube and found some reviews of the update with the FOV being adjusted. It looked like to me the camera was being placed in the car's rear seat area (if a race car had a rear seat). That just looked way too far back. I'll give it a go when I get the chance which probably won't happen until the weekend. I'll make sure to note where the default is so I can go back to it if I don't like the change.

The FOV was the same ( 54 ) before and after the update.
Perhaps I misunderstand, but not entirely sure what you mean?

Perhaps try turning the dynamic damping down. It simulates heavier wheel turning when going slowly. It seems higher on PS5 than I remember it being so I had to turn my down a bit. Otherwise have no idea. It's annoying how things just don't work in these games.
Was looking on the Thrustmaster website yesterday and noticed there is now a PS5 mode for the T300 which can be selected by holding down the mode button. Are you using this for ACC, or does it work using the normal PS4 mode?
