Turismoplayer I didn’t mean it that way sorry if it came across wrong
I appreciate that. No worries. You just don’t know sometimes. Cheers!Turismoplayer I didn’t mean it that way sorry if it came across wrong
Could try restoring licenses. I think I had to.I can’t download it from the store, it says I need a season pass to get even though I already own the dlc. When I fire up the PS4 version that dlc works fine, when I try the PS5 version it’s locked.
Yep spot on, had a good testing session tonight and it seems the brake bias does absolutely nothing, change it all you want but you stopping power is not going to alter one bit, so something else that'll need fixing,For me it looks now that changing deadzone doesnt do anything anymore. At the end I tried all kind of combinations in the settings but didnt notice any change in brakeforce anymore since february update.
with a lot of power i can reach 80% during a race and with too much power (which means no feeling at all) i reach 100% but probably the pedals will break soon like Numbrsix also said already.
im even close now to still go for removing that rubber block but it's not something what i wanted and like to do.
So as it turns out, I did not have the latest firmware. Version 34 is the current version, I was on ver. 31. I’ve since updated my wheel but won’t have a chance to get back on until tomorrow. Are people still having FFB issues on this firmware version?I’m pretty certain I have the latest firmware update for my T300 and I’m experiencing the exact same as you described. For now I will play the PS4 version on my PS5 until this gets sorted.
My T300 with firmware v.34 works great, no issues so far.So as it turns out, I did not have the latest firmware. Version 34 is the current version, I was on ver. 31. That’s good news. Besides the bugs, the stiff return to center FFB or damping is what was really keeping me from enjoying the game. Thanks Jojje! My T300 with firmware v.34 works great, no issues so far.
I'm the same, 32" screen 70 cm away,Due to a change in schedule I was able to mess around with the FOV thing a little this evening. Putting my screen size, distance to screen in the calculator (55 inch screen & 117cm away) it came up with 32.4. But that's entirely too close and undriveable. Default is 54. Unless you're not supposed to adjust FOV when you're driving in helmet cam.
The brake and throttle deadzone are broken at the moment. Try it, there's no difference between 0% and 100%i'm on xbox series x with logitech g920 wheel.
Before update my brakes (with the rubber stopper still in it) where fine with a break deadzone 85%. i could easily brake 100%
after the update the brake feeling is gone and now my brakes are to stiff again, so not able to reach 100% braking force anymore.
someone also have this problem with the g920? ander better, does someone know a solution?
I'm wondering if it makes a difference if you're using helmet cam or the regular cockpit cam. Is helmet cam more accurately displaying a correct FOV? I'm liking helmet cam the more I race with it. I might try one more time to put in the calculations using the regular cockpit cam and see what that does. But unless it produces an OMG!! experience I'm just going back to helmet cam and stick with that.I'm the same, 32" screen 70 cm away,
32 FOV is just awful. But they say ACC uses vertical instead of horizontal FOV, but wrong is wrong

I just upgraded my wheel also thanks for the heads up! Do you mind sharing your settings with me? I really hope it fixes it because this game is really good and I want to actually play it.. thanks! My T300 with firmware v.34 works great, no issues so far.

Gain: 80 ( if I remember correctly)
Min F: 0
Dynamic D: 100
Road E: 50
Steer Look: 900
Can’t check right now but think this is close enough.
Did you switch the wheel to PS5 mode as well [red light]?Well this is a bummer. I updated my T300 to v34 and unfortunately it still has the stiff damper that came with the next gen update. It feels like steering while the car is parked but with road feel. With all FFB settings at zero it still feels like steering a parked car albeit with no road feel. I’ve been playing this game since it was released on PS4 and the FFB was working great up until the next gen update. I suppose I’ll stick with the PS4 version for now as I originally decided.
Yes. I thought with the latest firmware update would fix the issue I’m having since others are saying their FFB is working fine. I’m wondering if they played the game on last gen before.Isnt there an game update coming soon which addresses ffb issues on Tm and fantec wheels ?
Fair question and yes, I did. I even switched between the two before launching the game to see the difference. Very subtle but I did have it in PS5 mode.Did you switch the wheel to PS5 mode as well [red light]?
Yes I played it on Xbox One X with my Fanatec CSL DD before the update, then got the Series X and the FFB was just fine, now after the update it's still exactly the same as before.Yes. I'm a little bit afraid of this upcoming FFB update because it might make my FFB go all crazy.
I’m on a T300 so maybe this issue is only tied to these wheels.Yes I played it on Xbox One X with my Fanatec CSL DD before the update, then got the Series X and the FFB was just fine, now after the update it's still exactly the same as before.

Yes I have played it before the update and it is exatly the same.Yes. I thought with the latest firmware update would fix the issue I’m having since others are saying their FFB is working fine. I’m wondering if they played the game on last gen before.

Interesting. For me the damper is just too stiff and seems to blanket actual FFB. I’ve adjusted the dynamic damper setting and it makes no difference.Yes I have played it before the update and it is exatly the same.
I might even think it is slightly better. ( T300 ).
Played a couple of hours with a friend yesterday and he also thought the FFB was better.
I actually love them, for the immersion lol.Still hate the rolling starts
Yeah, I've noticed that.It was a little strange in that it went from twilight to very dark then back to almost twilight again then to total darkness.
Do you love them when they spin out over the kerbs at Barcelona? Or when they spin out at the corkscrew at Laguna Seca? Or when the front runners pull a huge distance away at Spa or Donington? 😬I actually love them, for the immersion lol.
Yeah, I've noticed that.
