Scarlett Johansson > your momma as far as I'm concerned, based on pure speculation.

Will find out once both games are not only playable, but finished.

(not to say anything against your mom, I hope you read the sarcasm and what I m trying to say)

PS: Awesome interview, once again. You cant help but admire those guys and their attitude.

Just my observations. Take it how you will, I don't really care. :dopey:

Oh, but I already know! I've tried them both and at this point Asseto is leaps and bounds ahead, I know that P-C.A.R.S is still a year or more away from beign finished so comparing it to anything isn't really fair.

2012 is coming to a close; hope it is still released prior to the holidays so I can add on to my Christmas list for Santa, I mean uhm the wife.

I still can't find a release date...?

Unless something's posted before November comes around I'd really doubt that AC is releasing this year. Before spring of next year is more realistic for sure. But itms all good, gives uf more time to mod :D.

November development updates.
New shots of Lotus cars in AC, from a new album on AC's Facebook. Also confirms Silverstone as a track with both pit complexes fully integrated!

Lol!! Thank's for the warning, I fell victim to their Facebook post!
Thos shots indeed look amazing, very well done in every aspect without going crazy with HDR effects!
Anxious to read what the big announcemet will be, hopefully Ferrari!

If they include the Oval at Monza (which it looks like), im gonna be in heaven! :dopey:

This game has such great potential that I really cannot wait to get my hands on it!

Hope it's not too far into 2013 :>

And I hope hope hope that the tech demo's released before the end of the year.

I can't really tell you because we tend to not give specific timelines as it is always risky in this business. I can tell you that we know we're a bit late, but there was a VERY VERY good reason for that. I really really can't say more about it because we're under big NDA contract, but we will announce something VERY big, in the next month(s).

Sorry again for the delay of the tech demo, but it shouldn't be that far away i hope.

Depends, how many inner organs are you willing to sell? :D

Jokes aside: Get a desktop (laptop aint cutting it and is massively overpriced), i7 sandy bridge, 2GB GFX card (preferably GTX 675+), 8 or better 16 GB ram, fast HDD or SSD and you should be good for both - and for at least the next 2-3 years.

Don't get discouraged by that, in the PC world the sky is the limit but if you wanna play racing sims at reasonbly high to max settings on a solid FPS rate a custom build on med Specs will do just fine. This will set you back anywhere between 450 - 800 dollars depending on what you want.
Avoid brand name computers!

Thank you Jav for your answer!
If I had the money I would buy the "sky", but unfortunately I can't... Apparently a med Specs system is the solution.

Windows 8 plus an i7 processor, even 16 GB ram I think I can afford but when it comes to the graphics card, a GTX 680 cost more than 600€ so this is out of the question.

So I think I need to rephrase my question: How cheep should I go, choosing a graphics card or should I go for an expensive card and try to save from the rest?
(Which would be the lower PC configuration so I could still get the benefits of the X11 that Assetto Corsa is going to use?)

I'm really interested in this game as an upgrade from the GT5 (not the GT6+PS4;))

Apparently, one issue with going for an expensive graphics card is that it gets hamstrung by a cheap CPU. The better idea is trying to save a little bit with both. If you go for an i7-3770k with a 660Ti or 7950, this may be a better overall idea.

I don't want to sound stingy but you also need to consider the cost of the bill with the 500/600 W power supply needed to run a modern gaming pc, expecially when Mummy and Daddy are not the ones supposed to pay that bill.

Calculate the average hours you play, how many days a week, multiply it for the value of your electricity contract so you can have a rough idea of what we are talking about. Again, I'm not saying do not buy this do not buy that, hell no, just pointing out an "hidden cost" I rarely see talking about in a sim racing forum.

Looking awesome indeed!! Hopefully we will get that tech demo soon! And that announcement too!!
