It's called content expansion in the news story, and DLC by posters here. Is there going to be a cost involved, or is this going to be free like the "cat country pack"? I swear there was no cost for the Vette, Mustang, Fiat, and Cat Country tracks.

Nobody knows yet.

what we know so far is that at some point this year 20k monza(with the loop), monza junior, mazda 787b, mazda mx5 1989 will be coming for free

Also the ferrari fxx k, praga r1, audi a1 s1, ferrari 488 gtb will be coming for free with the console release date though i think the 488 is a preorder bonus now. Last year we got 1 track and 6 cars for free, so far this year we have had 3 cars for free and 1 track so things are looking well even for people that dont wish to spend money for whatever reason.
Nobody knows yet.
:)

Not at all. With the turbo it's challenging to put the power down because it has plenty of torque.

Maybe, maybe not.

I would say they would not be my preferred cup of tea to drive because they're more like operating a computer than driving a car. Give me a crusty old Alfa GTA 1600 with no power assists, no nanny devices, manual gear changer, crappy tires/brakes, and watch me smile! But don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to the inclusion of the SF15-T. 👍

But pushing the car, a little more input means more torque and with all the aero and those tires it's more difficult to control the car once it's gone.

I don't like formulas as well, give me a manual car that I can push and slide around and I'm happy

Probably hard to quantify since they use different tire compounds and pressures at each track (apparently the pressures for this weekend are too high according to some drivers). But for the most part the drivers generally say the cars are pretty easy to drive because computers are doing most of the thinking for you. I mean, a teenager took one to the top step of the podium in his first go in the car. :odd: The difficult part is adjusting all the knobs and buttons and do-hickeys and gizmos, or making sure your engine mapping is correct (see: Mercedes at Barcelona and Baku). I wouldn't say they're "boring" to drive because the driver is probably so busy adjusting things on the wheels and and trying to preserve tire life that he's constantly doing something, it's probably impossible to compare them to driving any other car (except maybe a LMP1).

The SF15-T is a real beast so I'm definitely looking forward to trashing that badboy.

At 1:09 they have a typo where they call the car FS15-T. :ouch:

Just days ago I was seeing a 2013 Ferrari being posted about with pictures and all, is that a thing of the past now?

It was originally slated to appear with the console release and is featured in the console trailer, so I'd presume it's still coming. We're getting 7 cars in the Red Pack and we only know of three of them so far, so the F138 could be included since it qualifies as an Italian race car.

2 cars were "teased" for an Assetto corsa related event in a facebook video from SurrealCar
https://www.facebook.com/surrealcar

The alfa 75, and a monster fiat 126p

This trailer also include the aventador SV and a bunch of cars from assetto.

Maybe they will be included in the next DLC pack ? or maybe they are not related to the game at all.

The news page says apparently Kunos traded up to the SF15-T from the F138. I don't know how true that is and it would be a waste of what appears to be a well advanced car model. Perhaps Kunos won't have to pay the licence fee if the F138 is not released and it was worth starting over to have a car based on the latest regulations.

Maybe that was just a figure of speech on the news page. If they already had the F138 and featured it in the console trailer it would seem a bit odd to suddenly replace it with a newer one. Maybe @Terronium-12 knows more?
