Haven't heard of that scan before. Is that the one that supposedly could be in ISI's developement sim version of rFactor?
But anyway, if that exists I wonder why no other sims, withh more money, haven't taken that scan and ran with it. Any sim that featured a scanned version of the Ring would be an instant smash mega hit.
Also, I was thinking about their little question mark teaser image some more and figured the green could be the green portion of the Italian flag with the carbon fiber pattern on the question mark simply a cut out revealing an F1 car behind the green. So Ferrari afterall, if that's the case, maybe even Ferrari F1 or something.

Well yeah, I'm talking within the bounds of the sim community, which is relatively small of course. But hey, just think, if there's a little ice cream shop in a town of 30,000 that has over half of that population buy from it - smash mega hit B)

You know they could've very well scanned the Ring and we wouldn't have known. For the avreage person laser scanning would look like construction work or something like that, so with the recent re-paving before the 24 people wouldn't even had given it a second look...

They laser scanned the GP track. If they had done the big track they wouldn't keep quiet about it.

I don't know man it is a huge deal for a game to be the first to scan the most mythical and legendary track in the pplanet! I woulddefinitely keep it quiet and make a huge deal about it on a press release.

haha, look at us being spoiled about it "only" being Ferrari in the title. They probably had to work their asses off for the deal. Good on them. Interior looks really sharp and the exterior's gorgeous from what I saw in the vid.
It'll be cool to feel the difference between the regular 458 that'll be in AC and the 458 Challenge that was in FVA. That Challenge was my favorite road sim car anywhere.

I may be drawing a long bow here... but the sunset, along with it being Nurb. GP (or Silverstone?)could hint at 24 hour racing, so night mode and the full 24 Hour circuit configuration?

Just actually watched the video and yes that is Silverstone, not Nurburgring. The stands are the giveaway, it's the exit of Stowe I think.
