Yes but only one of them is worth putting on the car for the track.

I can attest to that. I was at a press event for the last face-lifted Panamera (2014 or '15 MY IIRC). At one point I drove two Panamera 4Ss back to back, one had a summer performance tire (forget the exact type) and the second had all-seasons... they didn't tell me. The difference quickly became obvious in a slightly terrifying, "I almost slid off the track in a $100,000 car" way.

I'm fine with our only tire option being a "hypercar" tire. :)

That Cayman is pure gold. Just drove it on the ring and had a grin on my face. Lot's of work on the wheel but easy to tame when it decides to break loose.

If i had money IRL, this would be the car i'd buy. I remember our resident monkey's video and the experience in AC is very much the same:

Im waiting for the Cayman GT4... Oh my gosh, im gonna drive the poo out of that.

Wow, these are impressive. I've only driven the RSR and Clubsport so far but...wow. They feel very solid and complete, much moreso than any other cars. Very communicative, hands down the most enjoyable and engrossing two laps I've ever done around the Ring. I thought for sure the RSR would murder me to death but it didn't, it's very driveable and I made it the whole lap without crashing. Top work. 👍 👍

It's sublime! So easy to drive. And also: H-shifter :) The Clubsport is great too. You can really feel the stiff suspension in that one.

Try the 917/30. That will murder you twice every turn.

This DLC is so awesome. The 917/30 and Moby Dick have so much turbo lag. You think the car is so lame and overhyped and then WHOAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. The boost comes in all at once and you hold on tight as you're pushed back further into the seat. The Moby Dick was so excited to drive. The Cayman Gt4 Clubsport is a lot more manageable than those two, but still so much fun. You can go for the apexes and go at your own pace. The 918 is exactly what you expect. A fast, 4WD hypercar. Like a bat out of hell, it just goes and goes. The 911 and 718 are really twitchy for me. I'm not sure if it's because of my controller settings or if it's because of the 4WS.

Is there a decent Sebring for AC? Really want to blast the RSR around there when I get home and try these little beauties out.

This DLC and the accompanying sound improvements is nothing short of incredible. I've never played R3E but the sound improvements in AC have to put them very close together and certainly quite above anything available on console to date. It makes GTSport sound like something from the 80's:lol: The cars are absolutely roaring in replays and the new on track sound level adjustments are an incredible little piece of software. I can adjust transmission whine now!!

All the cars are great. I ran about 40 minutes in each one, 5 and half hours straight without getting up:lol: Completely forgot about supper:ouch: Every car is unique with a unique feel and the RSR, Moby Dick and 917 are just fantastic. The 917 in particular is absolutely brutal. It's a real challenge just to keep it on the track most laps, let alone drive the thing anywhere close to it's potential with full boost. The 918 sounds brilliant and what a joy to drive!! Classic Silverstone really suits these older cars and I can't wait to drive the Lotus 25, 49, 72D and 98T along with the Maserati 250F's and pretty much every car on older rubber. The corners all looks really similar but with slight elevation changes and slight camber to the track here and there they all end up being really unique and each one a separate and distinct challenge.

I have given all the cars a go... Well... The RSR 3.0 reminds me of the GT40, likes to oversteer, but my gosh, when you find its grip it is so rewarding to drive, and its sound.... The GT4 Clubsport is fantastic as-well, another really fun track car. Its unbelievable how rigid the car feels.. The 917, at 100% boost.. all i have to say... 🤬🤬🤬... It has a great tendency to understeer, and when you are going fast.. the front end starts going up.. making the front wheels utterly useless! Quite scary to drive...

10/10

The 918 really doesnt want you killing yourself. I generally don't like that but as far as cars of that type i'd say its the most fun. And yes i do find 917 extremely rewarding. I generally prefer cars that try to kill me to be naturally aspirated but steering with the turbo boost is... something else.

I drove the street cars earlier and the GT4 Clubsport. Used different tracks for each car. I'm totally loving the Carrera S, but I knew I would. Part of me wishes we got the pre-refresh naturally aspirated car, but this one has a much better torque curve, it's not too powerful for what I was hoping. An all-around great car.

The 918. I mean, what can be said that hasn't already been said? I brought her to Portimao because it's one of my favorites and I know it very well. This freakin' rocket actually catches air at the end of the long start/finish straight. You know how it turns into that pretty good downhill? I couldn't believe it. You're left with some nice rubber marks too from when it lands. It's not Dukes of Hazzard or anything stupid. It's just a tiny bit of air, but it's doing it consistently.

The 718 Cayman S is a lot of fun. I know a lot of people like to just turn TC off completely. I'm down with that. I like to do that too, from time to time. Usually I just keep it on Factory so I don't have to think about it and I can just turn 'em on or off from the track. Putting this car on 2/2 for TC is super fun! You can throw it around brilliantly. Very well balanced.

I'm going through my messages now and then I'll be seeing some race car action after that. 👍

There's not a single car I don't love driving in this. Even with the 935 and 917 trying to kill you at any given moment, I found them enjoyable once I started kinda figuring them out. Also very surprised with the Panamera. I ended up spending the most time with the GT4 Clubsport and the RSR 3.0 though. They did an incredible job with the sounds on all these, especially the RSR. That old-school flat six induction noise, the gear whine, and the crackles from the exhaust is just perfect. I feel like they went above and beyond with these. Best season pass I ever bought :)

edit: Neat little detail I just found in the 935/78. When you turn the headlights on, you can actually see the light switch get pulled out. It's just to the right of the steering column and down a bit. I've not noticed anything like that in other cars before.

Wow, heaps of rave reviews on the first Porsche DLC... I wish I had a PC capable of running this game right now. I don't want to wait much longer for the content to drop on PS4...
I wish you had a PC for this game so you could experience Assetto Corsa in it's true state! And yeah, I would be so edgy right now if console players got the Porsche Pack 1 and we had to wait on PC. But to be honest, this is going to be a good thing, I think...There are some bugs, slight errors, etc that I think Kunos will definitely have fixed by time PP1 ends up on your console.

Lads, I'm in heaven! Every single car is just so incredible to drive. I think that my favorites certainly are the 911 RSR as well as the Cayman GT4. The Cayman S is surprisingly quite a handful on the limit, to a point where it sometimes gets incredibly challanging to control, yet not so uncontrolable that you feel out of control, if that makes any sense.

Just wow, and all of that for just 6,99? With two packs remaining? Sign me up!

With the season pass its a stupid deal!

15$ USD instead of like 20.99$.. thats a good deal.

The 917/30 is blunt force murder weapon. you have to be really careful with your right foot.
I am basically afraid of it.

I fell in love with the GT4 Cayman. I think one make races with this car when on-line lobby's are working will be epic.
The RSR 3.0 is another beast that I will have to tame. Tried it at Riverside Long and it (as Brandon would say) murdered me to death. :irked:

The 918 is a real monster. I tried it at "The Ring" and it seems to need suspension tuning in a big way.
A lot of low speed under steer. And felt kind of bouncy to me. It is mind numbingly fast and sudden.
It is the fastest I've ever driven in a simm or simcade. It devoured Ring's back straight, :eek:and the binders drug it down enough that I actually negotiated the tight right hander just before the pit entrance. It is a rush to drive.

I have a lot of work to do in order to drive many of these monsters in proper fashion. All done with a big smile. :)

I really expected it to be more homicidal than it is, with the default settings I found it quite enjoyable and very driveable. Only got the rear out when I was really abusing it. I'm sure I wasn't at the limit and it's murderous tendencies probably show themselves closer to the limit, but I fully expected a fiery and violent death just trying to pull out of the car park. It is a real treat though and I plan to put many miles on it. 👍

I think i´m in love with the Moby Dick. I love those cars where everytime you lap you find an extra second. So much pontential, yet it´s a handful with the understeering.

I´ve found the 935 much better than the Capri or the BMW 320 in Pcars.

I´m also blown away by the RSR Carrera, considering it´s a car from the 70´s. It´s much better than i expected, i thought it would be something like the Yellowbird, but it´s not even close.

To be honest, the worst of the bunch for me is the 918 Spyder, just like any other hypercar that i try. The combination of street legal tires and road brakes with a lot of power usually ends up in a car that feels heavy, understeery and with horrible brakes. I hate this feeling when driving, and it´s almost the same with hypercars.

Yes, it´s fast, but nowhere near as fun as the other cars that i´ve tried. They did a good job with that GT4 car, it´s miles ahead of the other GT4 car in the game, the Maserati.

And the 917 it´s just :lol::lol:. It looks like it´s not going to turn, but it´s so fast that it almost matches the performance of a modern GT3 car.

I don´t know if it´s just me, but sounds are better, handling seems better, looks like it was a patch with a lot of good things hidden.

yeah the Clubsport is my favorite. Followed by the RSR. The 917 is interesting on old Monza, but nowhere else.
