Hi mate!
Can you do a little favour??
Make some screenshots from the loading screen please with that information.
So i could make a post/feature request in the official support forum / console lounge!

Would be great and very grateful!

Here you are. Forgive me for the crappy angle and awful lighting...and sorry that it took so long. :boggled:

I think the deal with Porsche is happening regardless. From what I know it looks like Porsche approached Kunos for their simulation needs and in exchange allowed Porsche in AC for a bit of marketing and brand exposure.

Honestly I wonder how the whole console thing is affecting Kunos financially. It can't be cheap paying for the development, porting, marketing and royalty fees to MS & Sony. Depending on the sales it might just breakeven and not turn a profit after all. I hope I'm wrong though because Kunos needs all the help they can get.

Since Kunos and Porsche entered a partnership, maybe there are no licensing fees involved in releasing the three Porsche volumes. In that case the financial burden would appear more feasible.

Well, I see videos like the one below and the physics look to be very VERY similar to real life. So I'm wondering what this guy has done... Witchcraft

I'm ashamed to say that I couldn't focus on this video, I couldn't stop wondering how much this guy's set up cost to build

Ok.

I bought AC, with the Season Pass; they were both on sale for relatively cheap on the PlayStation Store, so, I decided "Why not?".

At first, I honestly wasn't a fan, and thought it'd be like Project Cars all over again, with it being incredibly difficult to play using a pad, and some cars just being nigh on impossible to drive.

But then I changed some of the settings.

This game really is quite amazing.

There isn't a lot to do overall, the AI can be a little passive at times (though still rather good) and I'm pretty sure some cars are missing from the console release (Gallardo SL S3), but I'm really enjoying it.

And to top it all off, hypercars are actually drivable with all driver aids excluding ABS being switched off, unlike Project Cars.

When you get everything right, the three hybrid hypercars (the P1 in particular) are an absolute dream to drive.

Another image of the new fictional location due in January. Scotland has been strongly rumoured for a while so who knows.

Hmmm i am intrigued, this is completely different to the track that was teased with the Porsche. So what's the deal? Could it be it be a drive from the town to the mountains, or 1 location with a town and mount track?

If I remember correctly Marco said that the fictional track would have different sceneries.

That reminds me a lot of Driveclub for some reason  I know sim racers can be very biased towards real life circuits, but for me AC excels in enjoying cruises down scenic roads so more official fictional tracks is always welcome 👍 Just don't make it as wide as Black Cat Country please.

I'd like to see that fantasy track from GT6 - the one that's really long and loops around a lake - modded for Assetto Corsa. I'd like to see that track and the camera controls - I've been playing with Photomode a little bit lately. I think it would be more fun to have someone repeatedly kicking me in the face than to spend any more time in Photomode. But at least there are zero instructions to explain the two different settings!

We need a manhole cover expert to chime in and tell us which country use that design as I'm sure it's 100% accurately laser scanned or else I'll uninstall the whole game.
The first thing I did when I saw the image was to google "manhole cover *various countries*"... :embarrassed:

On a more serious note, I have high hopes on Kunos replicating the unique feeling of driving over cobblestones (i.e. slippery, shaky and with that particular sound).

Get that uninstall ready! If this is another fictional layout there is nothing to laser scan. :grumpy: I don't mind another fictional map, but I really hope that it comes with multiple layouts, like BCC. Also, there have got to be some fantastic roads in Italy that they could either use as inspiration, or possibly even laser scan. After the success of their product, I'm sure they could get local authorities to go along with shut down some roads for hours here and there so it can be thoroughly scanned. I'm not holding my breath on that happening.

When do these stupid hates come off the smileys? They drive me nuts...

Marco replied to someone a while back who said he hoped this new track wont be wide like BBC that his track will have something for everyone.
Looks like the UK to me, check those houses on the right side.
Yep i'm getting a Scottish vibe.

I welcome more fantasy tracks or non laser scanned tracks so long as they are not circuits.

I agree. Any existing racing circuit should be laser scanned, in my opinion. It was something that brought a lot of people over to Assetto Corsa and I hope they continue in that direction. However, if they want to create some fantasy tracks while working on ironing out some licensing to a real circuit, I'm all for it.

Except for the vintage tracks like Silverstone and Monza (though at least parts of those are probably scanned), I'm totally all for them adding more non-laserscanned historic tracks to go with all the great vintage cars we have.

Yes...You're correct Brandon. If it's a matter of bringing an old circuit back to life, by all means, do whatever is necessary to recreate it. Old Monza is one of my favorite tracks now. I love driving the Maserati open wheel cars and the old Lotus cars we have on that layout. Each bump on the banked turns results in a clench of the ole butt cheeks. :D

This too, bring on old Spa and Monaco (and new), would not mind old Imola too.

Is very similar to the Old Town Track of Driveclub :P
