I agree.

Imagine going over a kerb or bump with your hands off the steering wheel. Will the steering wheel move? If it moves then we do need FFB for kerbs and bumps.
You will get a reaction in AC from certain bumps. You need to hook the tire over a curb or a couple places off track () Ive found that will also jerk the wheel a bit. It just isn't adding all the "extra" effects we have become use to over the years. I do think it needs tweaked just a bit to feel them just a bit more, but race teams and car makers spend lots of time and money to eliminate bump steer.Been thinking about this some more. If the physics say that a bump or kerb create a steering input to the car then the ffb should mirror that force at the wheel. If you add an artificial artifact into the ffb then you mask the "real" effect. By all means there should be an option (or options) for the user to customize the ffb to fit. But leave the option for accurate ffb.
How are the physics in this game with with a Logitech DFGT or similar wheel? Worth getting even if I'm planning on getting GT6 or are they fairly similar physics wise?

Should be noted that AF absolutely crushes performance in this game.
I have a 660ti and a 120hz monitor (and I like to play in 3D which requires 120fps to get 60fps).
Which means I have to turn down a lot of settings to get a framerate that's decent. Shockingly enough, I've found I can triple my framerate simply by turning off AF. And for each drop you go down from 16X, you also get a significant performance bump. Either DX11 really hates AF, they did something very off with the rendering, or there's a major bug in the engine.
EDIT:

They've marked it as a bug on their official forum. So let's hope they fix it sooner than later. Meanwhile, if you don't mind a muddy road, you can gain a lot of fps with this.
I noticed this too, going from 16X AF to 4x AF doubles my frame rate on my GTX680.
AA is really bad in this game and it doesn't seem like they're going to fix it looking at their attitude towards peoples complaints. So Graphically it's not very impressive to me, it's the worst looking game on my PC.
It's such a shame as the car and track models look beautifully done.
I'm pretty sure they are going to be addressing that issue, infact I remember reading somewhere about Nvidia are going to do some optimization testing on their end for AC. Still early days for a beta so we will see how it develope's in 2 or 3 month's from now.
Maybe I've got low standards or something, but I don't understand how some people can say this game looks bad. It looks great to me!
Anyone know if the devs are going to laser scan the 'ring and bring it as an official track?
Anyone else having a sound bug issue in replays with the Lotus 49? Did a few laps at Monza, went to watch the replay and the sound is really buggy, no issues with other cars.
