Thank you for sharing this video
Curious about this replay.
1. how come we do not see any bezels?
2. What FOV value are you using?
t
Thanks,
You don't see any bezels because I use a software that eliminate them during the replay recording!
The FOV that you see in that video isn't actually the same that I use when I drive in game! I use always a low FOV ( usually 23/27) when driving for better immersion and that FOV(56) in the video is only for replays!

So I'm looking at buying this game but I looked at one of those sits that determines if you can run a game and it said my graphics card is insufficient. I have a NVIDIA Geforce GT550M that I'm overclocking. Would that work well enough?

It has to be DX 10.1 compatible which is why you probably get that message, but there is a way to edit an .ini to make it run. (Which is what I did.)

They said it's not a guaranteed fix however, so while it's good enough for now, don't count on it for final release.

That's not it - The GT550M is actually DX11 based

Did not know that. Sorta off topic but can anyone recommend a good, reasonable priced DX11 based GFX card?

The R9 270x or 270 is a beast and it's pretty cheap. But if you want to go lower than that Nvidia GTX 650 ti Boost is good too.

I made a track guide to achieving a low 1:42 or 1:41 laptime at Imola in the BMW M3 GT2

Was pretty interesting to make and I think I learned about a few of my own flaws in doing so, hopefully I can help people improve their laptimes!

Is there a track guide to achieving a 1:30 (or better) laptime at Monza historic in the Lotus Type 49?:P

Wish they would let us vote on car types as well as brands. The selection is so limited and if you want a lower powered coupe or roadster you are out of luck. As good as the physics and graphics seem to be, the car and track selection have me back playing with rfactor.

I voted Lancia, as much as I'd love a load of the other makes I just have a bit of a love affair with the Lancia Delta Integrale, road and rally versions, and to be honest I love the Stratos too. Alfa Romeo seemed to be winning when I last checked, disapointing really as I don't have much interest in their cars.

I have to say, as somebody who played a lot of Ferrari Challenge/Supercar Challenge/Superstars of V8 Racing, I'm really enjoying being 'back' at Mugello, Vallelunga & Imola. I really missed those tracks. They just need to add Misano and I'll be very happy. :D

Alfa Romeo, Audi, Aston Martin would be my European brands of choice. For Japan I would go with Nissan. For American brands, I can't choose between Chevrolet and Ford.

I don't know about everyone else, but I assumed it was multiple choice (car brands) and so clicked Alfa first...

I thought it would be multiple choice too. You can change your vote at the bottom of the page though. :)

the GTA is a good alfa, cant think of much else....

AlfaSud/Sprint, Spider (the old one), GTV/GTV6, SZ/RZ, Montreal, 8C, 4C, Brera.

Those are just the road cars that I can think of that are unique or interesting in some way, and I don't know the really old cars well so I'm sure there some more from pre-1960s. Alfa has lots of great race cars as well.

There's lots of interesting Alfas to drive. :)
