No, it's rf2. The problem is there are some users there, that play moral police, even though nobody asked them to. And when something not totally scratch made comes along, they start with complaints and reports and usually RD doesn't bother to much with advocating and just deletes the mod. It happened with some cars as well.

You have to love people "releasing" a cup car designed to race against itself and they haven't even checked the AI to see if they work. Not to mention this cup is going to be running with one skin only and no template. lol

Cost containment. Only one color development and painting use.
And most of all, not much fuel spend, because cars wont start.
 
Very easy. Just do this.

Open the car 'data' folder?
Make sure the ai.ini GEARS UP has a bellow number than engine.ini LIMITER (at least 50).

See the bellow example:

[GEARS]
UP=7200 (the original ai.ini come with 7900 - wrong value)
DOWN=4600
SLIP_THRESHOLD=0.95
GAS_CUTOFF_TIME=0.130



have a lower value, than engine.ini limiter

[ENGINE_DATA]
ALTITUDE_SENSITIVITY=0.1 ; sensitivity to altitude
INERTIA=0.120 ; engine inertia
LIMITER=7500 ; engine rev limiter. 0 no limiter
MINIMUM=1500 ; engine idle rpm
LIMITER_HZ=50


Hope it fix the AI at start.

The AI cant drive the swift, they just rev and stay in one place.

Make these changes. The numbers are only an example, You must change accordingly with the car values.
 
At least they look better than some previous ones you posted, judging from the HDR_dark previews here. What´s the source of them? Don´t expect to be done by scratch, aren´t they?

If you check the AssettoGarage new-old site ( https://assetto2015garage.wixsite.com/assettogarage ) you can find a picture from Aygo, and Swift. (Maybe from the others)

Scrtach made or bought model I don't know. I'm sure it is not a conversion, because too unique cars.

I'm not sure, but I think G.Rodrigues (GR-evolution his site name) work with them, because almost all of their cars for RichardBurnsRally is appeared in a short time in AC, and sometimes before it relased for RBR. And G.Rodrigues put 1 picture into his FB (in comment) some month ago from a stock new Suzuki Swift.
And an other fact, that these previous generation Suzukis are released only for AC..... :rolleyes:

And maybe an other RBR modder Leiro is work with them, because I saw his nickname (LeiroRBR) on the AssettoGarage Discord channel. (I don't know how can somebody connect that channel...)

So maybe these cars are scracthmade.

This CUP is meant RALLY CUP , like Opel Adam Cup in Germany, Dacia Sandero cup in Italy, or Peugeot 208 R2 Cup in a lot of countries. The modders who made these cars, made for an Online Rally League. They don't need AI.

The Racing Cups are different story, like Seat Leon Cup, or Peugeot 308 or RCZ cup. They racing against each other.

If you check these cars have a co-driver in the Right-1 seat. ;) So these are rally cars.


But it will be good to convert the Swift into a Racing Cup Car because it exsist. The Swift Cup Europe (which was born from the Hungarian (and Austrian) Swift Cups several years ago) run the 16th seasons this year. Our world champion (WTCR) Norbert Michelisz win the first season in 2005.:sly:

Edit.: Ohh, I forget the template. You said these cars has 1 skin, it is a simple white, so it is a good base for template. (I didn't check the toyotas yet, but Skoda, and Swift has a plain white)


Maybe AssettoGarage/RallyAcademy released the template on other place, where this guy (who upload for us) can't get access. Or maybe "installed" not in the car's folder, and he can't search for it in other folder.

Anyone have ever notice that flare thing in the left of the screen on some tracks at night (by moving the F7 cameras it disappear then came back in a determinated position) and how to solve it? Thanks guys
I had the same problem too and just went and asked in the SOL discord server.
Basically you want to go to the ppfilter's .ini in system/cfg/ppfilters and open it. Go to the [GODRAYS] section and set DIFFRACTION_RING to 0.1

My bad, I don't like razzing people who work on content for the game. Everyone has a way they like to utilize AC and that's what makes it great for everybody.

Palmbeach Speedway track update

The Palmbeach track is now updated to go the correct clockwise dirrection
AI and side lines are done
pit stalls and starting grid in correct locations
pits work correctly for WEEKEND mode - your pit stall will be highlighted
Renamed a few objects so SURFACES file works correctly
Added AI hints for couple of corners
provided for 20 pit stalls and starting grid locations.

Missing: If someone can do these
Need some kind of graphic markers for where start finish line is located
Needs replay cameras
Maybe add a VAO file
maybe a config file for grass fx fix Horizon, and any track lighting

Track drives very well - works best with any F1 cars or any GT cars that have very little side sway.
Did several races at 98% difficulty with RSS VRC f1 cars, Mclaren GT3 650 and several others.

the start/finish I located just after the start of the first short course intersection.
 
Having the extra ribbons is nice (I guess...) but Bahrain 2020 looks so much better to my eyes.
This one looks pale, washed out and overexposed, like a lot of rF2 track conversions.
Yes agree about the colors. But I guess this was supposed to be fixed later on, as it was 0.1 version. Now we may never see what further development would bring. But these colors can be magically made 100x better if someone like @slider666 gets it into his hands.

Other than that I kind of like it more than 2020 version. Less like an amusement park and more like an actual track. But that's personal preference I guess.

I'm reading this forum (GTplanet) regulary, and I saw your posts, but it is not clear for me, that what is this truck racing mod?
Is it a "Circuit Truck" physics for the Dakar trucks? Like ETRC? Or what?
They're a bit of a giggle to say the least. Very soft and bouncy and slidey. If someone would make some cameras for Legions Eldora speedway I could put a video up :)

Here's the first video of Thunderhill. Such a fantastic circuit! Are there any other tracks in California with this sort of aesthetic? I've got the WIP version of Chuckwalla, and obviously there is Laguna Seca, and my version of Willow Springs. I'm just really enjoying these sort of environments at the moment.
