The AUDI R8 IMSA GTO is a magnificent mod and as a fan of Khyzyl Saleem, I look forward to seeing more of your work following this theme.

I noticed that the #STEER_RATIO and #LINEAR_STEER_ROD_RATIO configuration was misaligned (as is the Kunos original) I have therefore recalculated the alignment for you.

The handling from both a telemetry and drive-ability perspective now provide a more linear delivery of the steering input/output. The car matches the real life data of 16.5:1 steering ratio with 620 degrees of rotation [lock to lock] and 20 degrees of travel [in each direction] delivered linearly.

The attached image demonstrates the differences:
Old = 10:1SR / 32 degrees of travel.
New = 16.5:1SR / 20 degrees of travel.

I have uploaded the amended "car.ini" for both cars to this post for you.

@k-e-n-n-e-t-h - Absolutely LOVE your mod. I made some small modifications as a suggestion for an EVO model.

Completely agree about the model. It's ridiculous. In VR it's like being in a bright red baked bean tin. But it's surprisingly fun to drive with a bit of attention given to setup.

I am pretty sure that the source was stolen from the rF1 Mod:
1970 World Sports Car Championship by CSGT (I was a member of that group these days.)
And I believe that NEChris built the Alfa.

So it's at least a 13 year old model.

Im a bit late but im looking for a rss gt pack from racesimstudio and i saw you post a mediafire link. It doesnt work any more, so could you please share it again or share it privately?

There are sections for cars, tracks and mods broken down into specific categories such as mod team or game etc.

Its a simple catalog [most channels are read only] and it uses the authors links or links directly to a thread or post made the author.

First of all thanks for your kind words on behalf of all the team members left! We did our best to improve the mod over time, especially me, learning new things on the way, about 3D modeling and stuff. Also thanks for your data update. We're going to try and test it and then put it in our next update, as I also found something that might be interesting to see, a small addition but nice.

Thx for the reply, I did delete everything ( except skin :) ) but still same result. Again it only happen this 1 out of 4 cars, rest 3 are working fine !

The log attach and hope give u more hints, thx !

I am using 1.66 version btw.


Update : OK I seems to work-around the problem by disable both DXGI & Force UAV flag , this error message box still prompt out, the only different is after clicking the OK, I can enter the race screen without issue.
honda_nsx_gt3_acc works even if I revert back to CSP 0.1.66
New DXGI model flip ON

I don't know why you have this issue as nobody else has it.

Except skins! FOUND THE CULPRIT!
Since I made some modifications to the 3D model in order to use ACC LODs, now the skins need LODD.dds texture inside the skin folder!
Therefore it's enough you COPY the file LODD.dds from a skin to your skin without it, IF YOUR SKINS ARE NEW. I advise you to use our skins and not leaving the old ones, because I made some slight changes here and there.
 
I've tried the WALL idea, however any object with 1WALL 2WALL etc in the name, just wont move, any other object name will move, but won't collide.

I'll try the others, though I fear POBJECT will just make the hammer fly away when a car hits it!

"if you’re making a new track and want to animate something, it would be much easier to export things you want to animate in a separate KN5 and save it using “Save KN5/Car” option. Saving KN5 as track means its whole hierarchy would get collapsed into a single list of meshes. Faster to render and with working physics, but meshes can’t be moved unless they are within their own nodes."

is there a chance that we will see a City Car Cup mod for AC?

FYI, the cars are the Citroen C1, Peugeot 107 and Toyota Aygo and they are powered by the same 1KR-FE naturally aspirated Inline-3
 
Thanks mate. I reduced the size from 4 to 1 to make it less meadow.
The config doesn't hide the old vanilla grass, which I thought was a 'good thing' for performance?

Add this line to the config?

ORIGINAL_GRASS_MATERIALS = 3Dgrass

Don't know if I have the same version of the track, but some version of acu's anyway.
 
This is easier than you think...

1. load yourtrack.kn5 in 3dSimed
2. "Display", "Object Filter", turn all off, select all AC* objects, click ok (you should only see start/pit/timer objects)
3. "Edit", "All Visible", "Copy"
4. "New File", "Edit", "Paste (objects)"
5. save new file as starts.kn5
6. go back to yourtrack.kn5, repeat step 3 but choose "erase"
7. Save, yourtrack.kn5
8. use models,ini with your new parts

test it
 
Hello, fellow AC race drive,

I bring you the recently updated Vasco Sameiro racing track. It´s a circuit located near the city of Braga in Portugal. The author of the original track in Rfactor is Rasta Drifter and this update to 2020 is work of a portuguese modder Rui Fernandes. He also needs your opinions :)

With grid, drift, drift reverse and karting. 22 pits.

Isn't that red ring where I am supposed to have the options to select the cars? There's nothing there. Can only set up the championship for Abarth 500 that is picked up as default.
