TITLE: HONDA CIVIC EG6 "Spoon" by Assetto Corsa Real Mods

aye guys!

some of you asked me to look at that "civic spoon" wipers, so i looked at it :D THANK YOU! YOU CAN NOW SLEEP WELL :D :D :D

[Anyway, my eyes told me that i do not want to drive it in the rain like that.
So ... i made (only) a new animation to make it work... kinda better (to me ofc)
(i didnt even touch the wipers geometry or others quirks present in this mod - so you have tiny, not huge patch :)]

here is a teaser :D LOL, but YOU REALLY HAVE TO :D see it in action - ENJOY !!!

Anyone have a lighting config for it?
No idea why everthing is scattered like this - I guess the track has been passed around a lot over the years. Be good to compile everything, maybe do some other updates.

I did some overhaul some pages ago, must be around some +600 more already. Do you want me to upload it again?

It´s not for the ACU version but it works as well.

Edit: attached the skin and config. Remove the .txt and extract the rar file into Istanbul Park folder.

All credit for the base of this mod go to K-e-n-n-e-t-h.

These are merely suggested add-ons for an EVO mod. I added numberDigi, Side Exhaust and Official BBS wheels with Safety Pins and R8 graphic on front bumper. These are by no means quality finishes to the mod, certainly not to the level of your ability. Just simple mockup updates as suggestions as you complete your build.

I ask for a little help...
My PC crashed and my AC installation appears to be gone. If I delete the appmanifest_244210.acf (which is broken) and put there a new one, will I save the old installation of AC? I would ask is some one can send me that file. Otherwise I need to redo the file check and therefore I will lose some changes I did.

Could you please post where that file should be? I searched the last few minutes and can't find it on my system? :boggled:

Quick fix I did in about 20 mins and since this is the only Urus (as far as I know) I thought I might as well share it.

Lamborghini Urus (by AssettoGarage updated a bit by me)
- Tweaked shaders
- Added AO to body
- Remade paints
- Added fake-ish AO to rims and made paintable
- Interior still not great, low detail and not mapped so no actual textures for seats etc. but as far as I know this is the only Urus so at least the exterior looks nice
- Driver position sucks because you can't see the dash, don't think this is fixable without affecting the hands holding wheels

Maybe someone else knows/wants to fix some of the things

Quoting this old entry here but thank you, this saved me to bin the track. Before it was nearly unplayable for me, stuttered like hell. Now with removal of the files it runs buttersmooth. Can recommend it for all who have performance issues with the track.

This may seem like a cardinal sin to some but I absolutely hated how the Kunos Ferrari 488 Challenge EVO felt. The car weighed something ridiculous like 1600 kilos so I dropped that to the manufacturer's claimed weight of 1340 and it feels much better to drive now. Probably the biggest difference in feel is the brakes actually work now and it can hang with the Super Trofeo and 911 Cup pretty OK now.

Of course, if you plan on using it online then you shouldn't touch the car or make a backup for it, but if you hate the way the 488 EVO feels I certainly recommend dropping the weight.

I've been retired. Living at the back of Plato's cave. My only entertainment is seeing my shadow cavorting on the wall of the cave...and playing Assetto Corsa. My only visitor is a guy who looks (and sounds) like Borat. The only urus I know is the ancestor of the modern cow.

Lol, well it's been in production since 2018 and it's the most likely car you'll see taken by a rich person to a ski resort in the Alps now. On top of that, there's also been a Super Trofeo version produced that was supposed to be released for racing teams this year but Corona probably delayed that.

It's essentially a very fancy and glorified Porsche Cayenne.

Thanks for the effort, but really, this is not worth it to waste time on lol. The interior is completely wrong and it's from a huracan. Does CSR2 have a proper Urus model?
 
Hi Mod Teams. Is there any way you can please make the Bentley Lumirank actually work, like the other ACC car Lumiranks? This one is where the Lumirank is faked to show the car number 008.

Hello, is just all about the RD skin , I think those author need to update their skin for your nice care ( hopefully soon ), yeah now all no issue with DXGI and even Force UAG flag on. Just a experiment and tried copying LODD.dds to those 3rd parties RD skin , it also work but just mis-alignment for the LED panel :).

Anyway all good and thx again for all the awesome work !

it now has only 16 pitboxes, and it would be nice if it got 24?

Lol that's why it didn't look anything like the pictures online! But hey not everyone plays this game as a driving simulator so at least the car now looks good for the chase cam people. As far as Urus in CSR2 goes, yes there's seems to be a proper Urus in that game.
Checked it with this list: https://www.igcd.net/game.php?id=1000011415 there seem to be a lot of cool cars in that game.
