Woah is that Sol with its PP fileter and its Reshade preset? If so thta look so natural!

Make sure you disable the patch in mod and delete it once disabled with a right click, then place a link to Discord in mod tool, install the last version from the update section in the Discord from mod tool.
As for sol, follow the instruction in the PDF, it should work flawlessly. Take you time, it is worth it.
I have no idea what this means :D People say it is easy to make shader patch work, but it really is not...Iam kinda frustrated right now :D

For those who also wants the point to point full touge version, DL link in comments section of video below:

I also have the Hong Kong and California touge from GRID. Still missing Cote d Azur which I've been looking for years and still no luck :irked: If anyone has any leads do tell.

these look great. would be if someone ported the okutama grand circuit. that was a fun track

Don't get wrong, nobody needs it, but you are fooling yourself if you believe that vanilla AC looks anything close to how good SOL/light patch/full CM looks.:sly:
plus the zillion additional features it gives, but nobody needs that to enjoy AC, vanilla can do it too.
Nobody needs a castle to be happy either.

Agree

Please, be sure I’m not against better and beauty which are given by all those huge improvements.
Some people like Peter Boese made AC better and better and I couldn’t disagree.

I share most of the @LeGeNd-1 thoughts, all I can say is... my life is « overclocked » by sort of things and all I want is an hardcore simulation without any annoying problems which impeach me to enjoy my very short time of « elsewhere ».

I remember the old time when I was addicted by sort of optimisations or/and early adoption of sort of things, these times which my son called it my « geek time ».
I crashed PC, I crashed some games, lost saves... lost a lot of time and pushed my nerves, sometimes, to the edge.

I’m interested also in a lot of things like photography, musics, arts, architecture, engineering, aeronautics, design and I would get 48 hours a day for enjoy all my passions.

I spent, a long time ago, hours in skinning (because I wanted my own skins and share it for pleasure), I spent hours in sounding better « Grand-Prix Legends » because I thought It can be better and close to « real sounds».

So, I will try during my next holidays which are in 3 weeks. ;-)

Cheers ! ;-)

Believe me I understand, none of it is a must, we just want to share because we like it so much.
Take your time, it is not going anywhere and we will always be happy to help when the right time comes.

Those are both either drift tunes, or really bad grip tunes. Found both of them pretty much uncontrollable. Sorry!
I downloaded them as well, but after reading the readme.txt, I deleted them, as clearly this mod car modifier and I are not aligned with my SIM goals.

what a nice reply. If you dont like something shut your mouth. It is free. Go ahead and make skins yourself so you can get criticized too.

I've done graphic work for many teams and drivers, I guess theres not a lot to critique from them.

Oh we got a pro here! mind sharing some of your work? are they ac-skins too or even real life cars?

AC skins? I said teams and drivers, what "teams" are there in AC? lol. Yes, "real life cars", Indycar and Nascar, and drivers and teams websites, some official series work too.

Now lets get back to AC... I said his skin was bad, and that makes you go into a fit of rage and teeth nashing?
Its so low res that you can see it in a screen shot... Its not the end of the word.

Now lets move on.

@P1ButtPlug

What the hell with you !?
I can't understand why, most of the time here, You wrote with a sort of... inelegancy !?

You are not on Twitter or on a "social" (!?) media, put your warriors elsewhere, pleeeaaase. ;-)
It's very quick to put the mess, even if most of the people here, respect each other with clever arguments and... kindness, It exists, YEAH !

Just, try it ! ;-)

Cheers.

Here's a 5-minute MS Paint selectable skin job to change the two huge billboards at Okotama to something more 'motorsporty'. I'm never a fan of Kunos billboards as they tend to break immersion, and the big billboards at Okotama were a little too distracting for me. This is just a test for now, tell me how they look in 2D (they look fine to me in blurvision VR). The smaller Kunos/Assetto Corsa billboards have been left alone, they'll take more time.
Drop the unzipped 'skins' folder into the main track folder and select the 'Real Billboards' skin in Content Manager (not sure if you need CM for track skins? It's been years since I used the vanilla launcher).

Disclaimer: literally a five minute hack 'n' slash job. Don't hate me.

Ah, yes, no problem. Works fine. I've tried all betas up to 1.4.
You can drag 'n' drop into CM to install now too.

Again, excuse me of this is a dumb question, but does that mean that you don't have to follow that pdf to install it now? I downloaded SOL but didn't really have time the other day as I was kinda wide eyed over installing it. I know this probably seems super simple to most of you guys :boggled::lol:
